This is a great car!!! We are very happy with car, we have taken this on a few road trips to PA and back from IN and to VA and back. We like the comfort on this, the only draw back was the back seat is not very roomy for tall teenagers, but we've had this a long time and if fit two car seats very comfortably. I call this my old lady car, because when I am too old to get up into my Jeep, I am going to have this car for putting around.

My 2004 Mercury Sable gs was bought by my grandma back in 2004 and was passed down to me once I got my license. I will say that it is a very stereotypical grandma car but other than that it’s amazing. It handles great and gets great gas mileage, except for when driving at highway speed the wind does blow the car around the lane. The leather seats are very comfy and the heater heats up fast in the winter and the stereo good quality. For having 139,000+ miles on it, it keeps chugging on. There is no rust at all and it has really taken a beating in the past 7 years that the car has been in my parents possession. Overall the car is amazing and will drive it till it dies, and I don’t think it’ll die any time soon.

This is a roomy, smooth ride that also looks good. Gets really great gas mileage for a larger size car as well!!

I got a 2001 Mercury Sable GS that just turned to 320,000 miles on it, only thing I ever had to replace was the alternator bout 7 years back, starter 3 years back and radiator a year ago but thats because a Turkey vulture smashed into it. Other than that it putters along amazingly, very controllable and useful. It doesn't give up and I'm hoping it will take me farther, my goal for it is to get to 400,000. I bout it for 600 from a friend, best 600 dollars of my life, that was years ago.

This car is awesome with the sync and navigation system! It rides really smooth and us uber quiet. The gas mileage is good too. Plenty of room on the inside and in the trunk. I have the 04 LS Prem Sedan edition and I love the interior especially. The leather seats, sunroof, and wood trim make it comfortable and stylish with enough storage room. The V6 engine is fairly responsive, but push it too hard and a cylinder will blow. Great handling, parts aren't too expensive (although some are discontinued), and makes a good impression for the price.
