My recall service appointment on 9/7/23 was reschedule by Jason Jackson. The reason was the tech going to be out for my original appointment which was 9/8/23. Jason Jackson service consultant at Suburban took care of me very well, I also ask him can we do the works package for an oil change with tire rotation. He said sure we can fit that in with your recall. Jason customer service is always on point and over the top.

Due to a catastrophic engine failure on the mid-sized 4DR Sedan/hatchback I was driving, I made a crisi$ purchase of a 2008 Mariner in Jan 2019. The price was low, as it would soon need all new tires, new front brake pads & rotors, as well as both front steering control arms w/ball joints replaced, and, an alignment, of course, AND it had 239,ooo miles on that CD4E transmission. But inside was clean, and I was on a limited budget, and this car left me with some cash in hand for parts, and it would carry the stuff I need for work. So, I spent a weekend rolling around on the garage floor, replacing all the hard parts, got some good rubber on it, and paid for an alignment to get it driving straight: 25 months/25,ooo miles later, that V-6 is still going pretty strong, starts well in subzero (F) cold, and the transmission is still hanging in there, too! Runs pretty quiet: have to watch my speed! Just wish the upper display worked: if I bump the radio channel button, it takes a while to get back to my station!

I’ve had my 2008 Mercury Mariner VOGA Edition for 5 years and it still runs fantastic! It has 167,000 miles on it and is the best-looking vehicle I’ve ever owned. I love it so much that I had the opportunity to trade it in for something newer but I just can’t part with it. Great small SUV and great gas mileage.

So far car is great. AWD will be nice in the snow. It has plenty of interer room and adaquate power. Color is nice and tires are new.

The Hybrid system is great I use the car for work it has gone though many snow storms and rain storms even an ice storm. It's always worked very well

This vehicle was originally rated at 15 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. I get 16 mpg in the city and 22 to 23 mpg on the highway in the summer and 20 to 21 in the winter. I have 243,000 miles on this vehicle. Drawback at this time is probable short in the wiring in which the drivers power seat will sometimes go back unexpectedly. Also excessive rust below door entry points. Tows very well(22’ camper)

Very impressed with the ride and feel of this SUV. I had a 2002 Explorer which I loved and this Mountaineer is even better.

I've owned my mountaineer since 2013 and I never had any problems with my car and I would definitely recommend this vehicle to other people who is looking for a good reliable used car. The mountaineer drives well in the snow and it never skidded in the bad weather, I have the 4.0 V6 engine and it has great gas mileage and I would never get rid of it.

I am 6'1 and while I am not a big guy I feel cramped In most cars . The mariner gives me the most space I have ever had in the driver seat. I still feel relaxed after a long drive. It has a stylish look and the hybrid is great on gas and still provides space and convenience for family.

I went to a few dealership on Saturday with my wife looking for a car for my college bound son. We were both impressed with Arko and how kind and easy going they were. A few places we went to didn't even bother to come out and say hello. So I just bought a used 2010 Mercury Mountaineer, with a restored salvage title. Typically I do not buy vehicles that don’t have a clean title. Obviously this vehicle was in an accident, and restored. I test drove the vehicle twice before deciding to buy it. I have to say there are a few quirks I have to work out of the system, but the engine and transmission is solid! With just over 100k miles this vehicle is by far one of the cleanest vehicles I have ever bought used, inside and out. I upgraded from an 03 Ford Ranger that had the 2.3L engine 5 speed manual. I wanted something automatic and with more HP. The Mountaineer doesn’t disappoint. For $4,500 I feel this vehicle was a smart purchase even if I have to put some time and money into fixing the weird quirks. I wish there was a way to submit pictures in this review to show just how clean this vehicle is. I would not hesitate on buying another one.

Smooth ride and comfortable interior with plenty of head room. Not bad performance for a four cylinder and I am getting close to 30 mpg on the highway.

This truck has lasted me a long time. I’m just looking for something smaller. Motor runs great. Just needs a new shift solinoid. The exterior is a maroon color. And this inside is a tan color.

While test driving on the highway my husband got up to 75 mph without any noise or rattling through the cabin. We previously owned a small hybrid and had noise issues while getting up to speed. The maronerbis a very smooth ride and we are going back to purchase it tomorrow.
