After 23 years of driving minivans and SUVs, I was ready for a change. I love my 2016 Mini Cooper S 4 door. with the 6 speed manual transmission. Car is great to drive, gets okay mileage (25+mpg) and is surprisingly practical.

I traded in a 6 month old Lexus hybrid for a Mitsibushi lancer. I paid $20k for the lexus and my 16 year old pretended to like it but he hated it. It was a lame hybrid and his friends laughed at him. So before he even got his license and had only added 400 miles to the car I took it back. Eliot got me a deal on a Mitsibushi with 19,000 miles. The trade in came back at $14,000. Eliot WENT BACK AND GOT ME A BETTER DEAL! because I was a previous Carmax customer. I ended up with a 5 year warranty on the Mitsubishi and a $700 refund... You cannot beat Carmax. If you buy cars from this dealership THEY LOOK AFTER YOU. Genuine customer.

I got a wonderful car from Imported Motor Cars in Maine. It’s a beautiful car, incredibly fun to drive, and surprisingly fits tall folks well (my husband is 6’5”). The 2016 model is high in reliability according to CR, and I haven’t found it to be different. It has great gas mileage and is pretty good in snow.

I bought my 1st MINI in 2014, had 4 since then, my son totaled two Countrymans in ‘22, the other two he is not allowed to enter. I would recommend it day and night, fun cars to drive, worth every penny, makes you feel great, it is just perfect in every way. Keep building them “MINI”

The countryman is the perfect compromise for those who want a Mini and still want a workable amount of interior space. The gas mileage is insanely good, it's fun to drive, and you will be running laps past everyone at the stoplights because of how zippy it is. Parking is also never an issue, always lots of space, and easy to maneuver. My only two complaints are that maintenance tends to be expensive (when you factor in the gas savings though, I'd say it pays for itself) and the engine is weak. If you load even just a couple hundred pounds of passengers and cargo into it, it can drive for maybe an hour or so before the engine light kicks on and begs for mercy. I've never had this result in an actual issue that caused a breakdown or required us to pull over, and maintenance confirmed that there are no larger issues with my engine in particular. Turns out that it just limits its own engine power whenever it's struggling. But it is a bit annoying, especially on longer trips.

I've not driven it yet, but we investigated everything from the variable valve system to the turbo charger and watched a video of a complete teardown of the engine. We were so impressed that even before finishing the purchase of the one we were already looking for another one. This engine is AMAZING!! Can't WAIT to drive it!! And with a 6 Speed manual? I was in the market to purchase a reliable used car for my daughter for under $5k. We had been all over town for a couple of weeks. This car is the first fast car i have owned, I love it. My children says it like a rocket ship on the ground, lol. even though its small it fits everything i need plus im averaging about 29mpg which is amazing. If your shopping Mini coopers I would go for the John Cooper Works!

I recently bought a beautiful RAV4 xle. I am enjoying everything about it. Racquel Kerr was my excellent sales agent. She has a very warm and comforting personality. She knows every nook and cranny and detail about Park Toyota vehicles. She explained every part of my car in detailed and simple terms. The night before I picked my RAV4 up, I was so nervous because of driving a car unfamiliar to me. Because Racquel is so conscientious, she completely erased all my fears. I acquired a Mini Countryman S, and it is a really fun vehicle! It has an engine and styling by engineering partner BMW, a Japanese transmission, and is assembled in the Netherlands. Here comes the BUT....be sure to at least be in the S (sport) level. The standard vehicle just does not produce the power that this larger and heavier vehicle needs. Also. be aware that this vehicle has a double clutch. Be sure you understand what that is before investing in this type of car. I personally wanted a car with personality that I would not see a million clones of on the road, such as the ubiquitous Nissan Rogue. There are some quirks I could do without, like the goofy accent lighting and counter intuitive door handles and hard to get used to gear stick. But there are attractive trim level upgrades that make this a fantastic vehicle, as well as some standard features...like the panoramic sunroof and roof rails. I suggest the sport seats, the power lift boot gate, the JCW steering wheel and Mini Connect. The Premium package is a great choice. I don't personally care for the ALL4 (4 wheel drive), as it's a 3k upgrade that I didn't find worth the extra money when driving an ALL4. My vehicle has the extremely fun paddle shifters, combine it with Sport Mode, and this car is the epitome of a total blast! Reliability you say? I was worried about that too, as like many car brands MINI is notorious. Well, they are changing perceptions. Routine Maintenance is included, paired with a decent warranty and the option to buy additional mechanical coverage...not a bad deal for 22 bucks a month for extended mechanical protection. I was seeking a smaller, stylish, zippy, sporty SUV with luxury finishes....and MINI fits that bill. Give MINI a try if you've never driven one!

I loves mini, its simple cute and small car but has power. And the space isnt too bad. The gas consumption is also not much. A bit expensive for maintaining but its worth it.

Bought it new. Hard to tell that it's almost 8yrs old. Third Mini, first automatic. Very nimble and good acceleration. Love the heads up display and love love the power folding mirrors and side driver visor. Seats are very comfortable and have an extension for longer legs available. Haven't been able to figure out how to delete older phones from the bluetooth or unwanted addresses from the nav system tho. Biggest drawback for me is that the nearest dealer is 1.5 hrs away. But they do offer a valet service to pick up the car if scheduled in advance. It's not the most inexpensive to repair but what vehicle is nowadays.

Very good experience! My daughter was looking for two specific used car models, and we had spent the entire day driving from one dealership to another. Winter Park Auto Mall was our last stop, and we weren't hopeful, because the price was lower than any we had seen advertised, and the vehicle had 20,000 fewer miles. However, it turned out to be exactly what she was looking for. The trunk liner was missing, but the dealership ordered one and had it sent to my daughter in MD as promised. Also, there was a small stain on one of the seats, so they gave the whole car a steam cleaning and detailing while we waited. If you are looking for a shiny dealership with free coffee, this is not your place. If you are looking for a no-nonsense car purchase with lower-than-average dealer fees, this is your place! Bought a 2018 Mini Countryman Base model pre owned and have loved everyday with it. Only had one issue and that being something with the Valve Gas Breather. I have yet to fix it yet and it’s been about 3 months. Doesn’t cause any noticeable performance issue (besides the decrease in fuel mileage), just the check engine light on. Other than that, I drive this around the island. Very easy to park and maneuver around. I am planning on getting the newer Mini Countryman about 2 years after they’re released so they can work out all the kinks and stuff.

The sales manager and sales person were friendly and cordial . I had a very relaxed test drive with the salesman. He was very knowledgeable about the used car I was testing and allowed me to drive the vehicle for a considerable amount of time.

I actually own 2 MINI Coupe models, and absolutely love driving them both. These cars emphasize FUN! The steering and road handling is tight (not at all “squirrelly”) The agility is similar to a “Go Kart” making it a pure joy to drive. Although it is the most mini of the MINI, this coupe delivers ENORMOUS FUN! The model has been discontinued, which makes the car very unique, rare and perhaps collectible.
