The countryman is the perfect compromise for those who want a Mini and still want a workable amount of interior space. The gas mileage is insanely good, it's fun to drive, and you will be running laps past everyone at the stoplights because of how zippy it is. Parking is also never an issue, always lots of space, and easy to maneuver. My only two complaints are that maintenance tends to be expensive (when you factor in the gas savings though, I'd say it pays for itself) and the engine is weak. If you load even just a couple hundred pounds of passengers and cargo into it, it can drive for maybe an hour or so before the engine light kicks on and begs for mercy. I've never had this result in an actual issue that caused a breakdown or required us to pull over, and maintenance confirmed that there are no larger issues with my engine in particular. Turns out that it just limits its own engine power whenever it's struggling. But it is a bit annoying, especially on longer trips.

I have one at home and I love it so much.it is a fun car the only problem is reliabilty is a problem but overall I really love it.

I've not driven it yet, but we investigated everything from the variable valve system to the turbo charger and watched a video of a complete teardown of the engine. We were so impressed that even before finishing the purchase of the one we were already looking for another one. This engine is AMAZING!! Can't WAIT to drive it!! And with a 6 Speed manual? It is a truly great car with European tech and American comfort. Ease to park and has that sporty low ride. Fuel economy is great. I would have kept it even longer except I need to buy a car for my son who is going to start 2nd year in college.

Excitement for the money? This car is hard to beat. Turbo charged 181hp with a 6 spd auto transmission means big smile everytime you get in. The styling is definitely MINI but truly unique and you'll be noticed around town.

small on the outside, big on the inside. Super Fast!! Has ABS. Drives smooth and easy to hand with power steering wheel. Great for driving in the rain as well. Lights were very bright and it’s easy to maneuver around in it

Hatchback is so versitile. I have had 6 full size adults in it with luggage from the airport!! Super good mileage and drives like a go-kart - it corners so well. You have to keep RPMs up for good accerleration

My experience has been better than I would have expected from a private used car dealership! Many cars in inventory to choose from. I was able to find my Subaru although older than i personally wanted, but it met my budget perfectly. Amran was my sales representative and he was extremely easy to work with without all the hard selling you typically encounter from any dealership large or small. The best car I’ve driven so far. I’ve been a fan of the Beetles for such a long time and made the change to a cooper since they have nicer interiors HOWEVER I’d still prefer a buggy. I love the sport button and it’s so beautiful inside at night when it lights up blue. One thing that makes me annoyed of this car is the fact the hatch won’t close after opening it. It literally makes me want to sell this car. Many have this issue and I’ve seen solutions online, but you have to unscrew xxxx and I don’t want to do all that just to have it possibly happen again. Why don’t they fix this EASY problem???
