Used MINI cars for sale near North Reading, MA under $50,000

Since the 90’s I have owned 5 used BMWs. Once you drive them you don’t change horses. I have been bringing them for service there since 2009. Great service and no need to wait for parts as in other garages. They are stocked. And they treat the earlier models (older) BMW customers as well as they treat someone who is either buying a brand new one or has a new one. They run the cars through the wash when finished and wipe down the interior and vacuum - and it is a very classy touch. The wifi is strong so you can get work done when you are waiting for a repair. It’s painless.

Bought a 2023 Mini Countryman ALL4 John Cooper Works Edition of the car, and received my order last summer. Simply put, the performance is AMAZING. Put it in Sport Mode (a minor inconvenience), and it becomes a force to be reckoned with, especially to those unaware of this car’s capabilities. It’s marketed as a Mini—SUV, and I think that’s a fair categorization. Still have plenty of room for passengers, groceries,!etc, without sacrificing much, if any, performance. My only complaints? Difficult/clumsy control mechanism to get into Sport Mode, no native Android support, and rear windows are awkwardly installed, and have been “properly aligned” with remainder of car, instead of giving the appearance of being aligned with front/rear windows. In summation, this car performs better than its competition (a 2L inline 4cylinder, lightly turbocharged/intercooled, AWD, pretty aesthetics, and lots of opportunities for upgrades, beyond 301HP, 331FT/LBS Torque, and you have a contender for “production car SLEEPER OF THE YEAR!”), like the other “hot hatches”. Everytime my wife or I drive it, we NOW take turns.(she was bitten by the Mini bug) driving it EVERYWHERE, from trips to work, to the grocery store, and vacation driving. You really have to drive a JCW in Sport Mode to appreciate what I’ve said. Anyhow, these are my impressions on this amazing little car. Worth every penny, not getting rid of or replacing it, anytime soon!

Clyde has always been honest, easy to work with and thorough with all the follow up details. I have had my Countryman S for about 7 months and 2000 miles (I have two other cars). It’s Chili Red with Petrol Blue interior. My favorite points are 1. The interior. If you love interesting fun interiors as I do then you will love it. If you try to avoid black interiors and exteriors you eliminate 90% of the cars other make. With Mini, you can get perhaps the most fun interiors anywhere and the Vescin seems comfortable enough. Just with they had ventilated seats. 2. Power, FINALLY Mini got a full BMW tune given you pay about the same price. It is plenty quick and I get 33-36mpg on the highway all the time. Drops much lower zooming around town. 3. Appearance and layout. I like the unique appearance, low roof line for kayaks and plenty of room for the kind of car it is. Negatives: 1. Electronics. Had several updates since I bought it and it has improved a lot but will take some getting used to. Use the favorites menu. Everything is pretty much forced onto the center screen. Sometimes Mini does things to be cute rather than practical. Rather than a start button it uses a flag toggle key you turn off and on like an old fashioned key. If you have to change cars like I do it’s confusing. 2. Center console. Basically, there is not one. There’s a little clam shaped compartment the size of a clutch purse. The armrest doesn’t open. Wasted potential. You will hate this if you are used to piling layers of stuff in a huge center console. Glove box is minimal, too. Neutral. 1. There’s no screen behind the wheel but there is a heads up display. Frankly, after awhile I don’t miss it at all. The heads up is excellent but it takes a little getting used to. 2. Suspension is a bit stiff like all Mini’s. Makes it sporty but trade off is feeling most road imperfections. It does take the top off bumps well but it’s a trade off. In summary, the reliability has been good AFTER the electronics updates and most things work well. It is just so fun to drive and look at inside and out that really I am not sure what I’d rather drive. You might cross shop the BMW X1 and see which works better for you. You cannot beat Mini interiors though for just pure fun and the driving matches on what is a practical Mini for a family. Oh, I got it to tow a camper but I have yet to do that. That is a great new addition in my book. I will probably get a kayak trailer.

I don’t like purchasing vehicles but it is a necessary evil. Anthony was great and made purchasing a vehicle for my daughter easy. Especially following up with us after the sale which is nice.

This car is easy to drive, beautiful color, good on gas, handles well on cornering. Nice price and great tires too. This is my 3rd mini, so I love them!

This my second Cooper S Countryman ALL4. My first I had for only two months, a 2013. I was T-boned in an intersection by a BMW X2 Hit with such force that both vehicles were non repairable. I walked away from what could have been a disaster. I absolutely love my 2017 Countryman S it is yards above the 2013 in every category. I am perplexed about the lack of satellite radio and other electronic features but I still love this car. Great build quality and styling for the used price of a 4 year old Hyundai or Kia. I'm glad I purchased again.

Amazing experience. I'd recommend anyone looking for a car to try CarMax first... There's zero pressure, tons of beautiful vehicles, and just an all around great place. Will definitely be buying from here in the future. They're willing to work with you if you don't have the best credit, and most importantly, they're just honest and transparent. Two very important things when spending tens of thousands of dollars. Put it this way, it was great enough experience for me to come online and leave reviews all over!

I bought a 2020 Oxford edition to replace my 2013 Cooper S. Seems heavy and slow, but probably better to slow me down and saved a lot of money!

Transports more than other 4 door cars. Drives fantastic. Smooth, yet sporty and nimble ride, with plenty of quick acceleration when needed. Very reliable, with easy maintenance.

This is our third MINI. We have a 2008 Cooper and a 2013 Countryman. It's become an addiction. Usually, by the time we pay off a vehicle we want to replace it. Not with MINI. We love ours and the 2016 Countryman is no exception. It's larger than the 2013, but it's still familiar. I'm the shortest at 5'9". Hubby is just under 6' and our son is 6'2". We all feel like the MINI's were designed for tall people. We refer to them as TARDISes because they are bigger on the inside. Smooth ride. Comfortable handling. Safe. Extremely reliable. Stylish. Would highly recommend.

I loves mini, its simple cute and small car but has power. And the space isnt too bad. The gas consumption is also not much. A bit expensive for maintaining but its worth it.

Ali was good. I had the financing secured online as well as a couple others to choose from that Ali provided.. Made sure the car was in tip top shape before delivery and handled everything at the RMV. Extremely satisfied with the process.

I love it. It's small and peppy and fits everything I need it to fit. It looks great and runs great and is fun to drive. I could not be happier.

Not sure why all the poor reviews, but I have had nothing but positive experiences with this dealership. As for someone that has had many, many cars in my lifetime, buying my 3rd BMW was a no brainer and this store seemed to have more stock of certified cars than any other. Ill always gravitate back to a Herb Chambers, since I bought two Lexus from the Sharon store and had a great experience with their sales and service (although I would never by another Lexus, but thats a different story). Herb Chambers dealerships are all about exceptional customer service and great relationships for the long term which is what I like. From start to finish, this dealership had great communication from online, text and in person and Ahmed, my sales person was exceptional, friendly and professional and I could not ask for anything better. Great service, great people and quality cars , I would highly recommend this dealership. The location is not ideal, and it is a smaller dealership with mostly cars in the showroom, but they do an excellent job.

I love, love, love my new Cooper S convertible! She is paying for herself in compliments already. Literally everywhere I go, someone stops me and says "your car is so cute!" She is so fun to drive and it isn't even convertible weather yet lol. I ordered black on black and I couldn't be happier with the aesthetics and performance! I hope she and I have mini happy years together!!

Fun to drive. Handles the road with lots of power and great gas mileage. Trunk space is ok, but you have to be a good packer Good interior room for a small convertible .

John at Drum Hill is the best buying experience I have had in years. He is very professional, his office manager is very responsive to her customers. They shipped my Mini Cooper to Maryland thru the snow. My Wife has since taken it from me. Their prices are very fair and the vehicle was in excellent condition!! Still relatively new with just over 200mls, but a fun car to run around in. Comfortable ride and pretty zippy with the turbo. Quite surprised how roomy for a small car and can’t wait for a trip to see if it’s comfortable after a few hours in the car
