The countryman is the perfect compromise for those who want a Mini and still want a workable amount of interior space. The gas mileage is insanely good, it's fun to drive, and you will be running laps past everyone at the stoplights because of how zippy it is. Parking is also never an issue, always lots of space, and easy to maneuver. My only two complaints are that maintenance tends to be expensive (when you factor in the gas savings though, I'd say it pays for itself) and the engine is weak. If you load even just a couple hundred pounds of passengers and cargo into it, it can drive for maybe an hour or so before the engine light kicks on and begs for mercy. I've never had this result in an actual issue that caused a breakdown or required us to pull over, and maintenance confirmed that there are no larger issues with my engine in particular. Turns out that it just limits its own engine power whenever it's struggling. But it is a bit annoying, especially on longer trips.

Bought a 2018 Mini Countryman Base model pre owned and have loved everyday with it. Only had one issue and that being something with the Valve Gas Breather. I have yet to fix it yet and it’s been about 3 months. Doesn’t cause any noticeable performance issue (besides the decrease in fuel mileage), just the check engine light on. Other than that, I drive this around the island. Very easy to park and maneuver around. I am planning on getting the newer Mini Countryman about 2 years after they’re released so they can work out all the kinks and stuff.

I did not buy a vehicle from them because I live in another state but they got back to me right away and answered all my questions. I would have bought from them if I lived closer.

This is our third MINI. We have a 2008 Cooper and a 2013 Countryman. It's become an addiction. Usually, by the time we pay off a vehicle we want to replace it. Not with MINI. We love ours and the 2016 Countryman is no exception. It's larger than the 2013, but it's still familiar. I'm the shortest at 5'9". Hubby is just under 6' and our son is 6'2". We all feel like the MINI's were designed for tall people. We refer to them as TARDISes because they are bigger on the inside. Smooth ride. Comfortable handling. Safe. Extremely reliable. Stylish. Would highly recommend.

Bought my 2015 last fall looks great drives great alot of fun . Faster than it looks . Not a extreme cold weather car . Handles great on snowy roads . I'm a bigger guy plenty of room . Would not want to sit behind me . I'd buy another

Researched to find a car that was fun to drive and good on gas. Decided on a 2017 MINI which I purchased through Carvana online. My used car arrived with just over 27,000 miles and a few months remaining on the original warranty. The MINI is fun to drive, looks good, handles well, and I enjoy driving it on my 80-mile round trip commute daily. Good on gas, it's nice to be able to switch between a Sport and Eco mode (not sure if this is more of a gimmic or not but while driving in Eco mode I seem to "Save" about 8 miles/day. I'm happy with my purchase and would purchase again.

2015 Countryman S.Very reliable; bought from Bergstrom. Steering problem when turning on bumpy roads.New models (after 2017) are better; but I don’t know about reliability.Have fun!

I purchased the used 2016 Mini S Countryman All Wheel Drive in March 2019. It is a great car for everyday commuting, with a lot of options including leather seats and sunroof. I did about 10k miles (currently at 33k). It has a sportive driving at low fuel consumption. Lots of fun to drive with great mechanics and reliability of a German car.

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I hate buying cars. They also know that I rarely write reviews. Despite that, my recent purchase from Dan Martins Auto Depot makes me what to share my experience. Our 1998 V70 served us well for the past 20 years, but had some issues that would prevent it from passing NYS inspection. I decided to look at possible replacements. Initially, I was thinking about picking up a 2-3 year old car, but wasn’t crazy about the current styles. Looking on-line, I happened upon a 2007 V70 at Dan Martins that looked like it checked all of the boxes. The mileage was low for its age, the condition seemed perfect, it appeared to be well maintained, and the long roof wagon provided lots of room for our two dogs. I don’t make car buying decisions very fast, so I mulled it over for a while before contacting Dan Martins about its availability (and asking my wife for permission to consider it). Peter promptly replied and sent me a link with loads of pictures that clearly showed the car’s condition. He told me that they had carefully gone over the car and what parts they replaced. The free CarFax showed that the car had been carefully maintained by its previous two owners. The ‘problem’?—I live about 300 miles away from Yonkers, outside Rochester, NY. I toyed with taking the bus or train down to Yonkers to see it and possibly drive it back. Peter was so easy to deal with, that I had confidence to buy the car, without seeing it in person. I wired the money, Peter found a very reasonable shipper to truck it to me, and a few days later, the car was in my driveway. The car was exactly as described, if not better. I feel like I have a new car, at a fraction of the cost. I told Peter, that he made the entire sales process to be as easy as buying something on Amazon. After buying this car, I may not wait another 20 years to buy my next. I highly recommend, without hesitation, Dan Martins Auto Depot and especially, Peter. After 23 years of driving minivans and SUVs, I was ready for a change. I love my 2016 Mini Cooper S 4 door. with the 6 speed manual transmission. Car is great to drive, gets okay mileage (25+mpg) and is surprisingly practical.

Came here for a specific BMW 330i I saw online. I did have a trade which is a BMW 320i that basically I wanted to upgrade. I ended up trading my older vehicle and financed the rest.
