Used Mitsubishi Eclipse for sale near Merrimack, NH

Came in for routine oil change & tire rotation. Not sure my tire pressure was checked, heading back to MI my low tire pressure light came on for front tires. I?ll pop in next time I?m in town to have air put in

I love the look both outside and inside! For me it has more than enough speed. I can easily go 80 to overtake a vehicle on the freeway, which is plenty enough for me. I'm not on a race track. I'm surprised at how features it has on the inside. I'm thinking of replacing the shocks for a more comfortable ride, but other than that, I'm very satisfied!

This is my second purchase from Ideal. Found a 2010 Ford Explorer on their website. It was still in the process of title being passed to them. Waited and checked back with them 2 weeks later. I was able to get a chance to drive it and took it on the freeway. This time I requested financing which they carried out quickly and provided me with a very low finance rate. Yes, they did add for putting the auto in "ready" condition. My auto had just come out of auction which required cleaning and checking to make sure it was servisable. There is a reason I keep coming back to these gems. I'm about to purchase my 4th one. I've owned a GS for 10 years and 2 GTs for 7 years. One being a Spyder which I always said was the best car I ever owned. Perfectly balanced, fast, great looks, beatiful paint colors. A blast to drive. The interior lighting and the 650 watt Rockford Fosgate are AMAZING. Everything feels right about the car. And the cost of ownership is great, just basic maintenance. I regretted getting rid of them all (traded 2 for a Vette). After 2 years, I"m going back. Found a Spyder GT in Rave Red and it will arrive soon. I can't wait to drive this gem of a car again!

This car was super comfortable feels more like a sedan then a small car mileage was decent this is one of our favorite cars. Never had any mechanical issues.

I think the eclipse GST is a great platform for a fast car. The car drove very well and the handling was excellent. These cars are cheap to build and it pays off wonderfully.

2003 Mitsubishi eclipse GT Spyder. The fact that you see these cars, and those alike on the road 20 YEARS, after production, is because it's reliable. Generally speaking a lot has to go wrong in these cars before they just kick the bucket. However, preventative maintenance is highly important, getting fluids changed. It's a terrific car, and is a sight for sore eyes for others

I have a 2006 Eclipse GT and love it, but it's near the end of its life so I wanted another. I got this 2009 with 80,000 miles. Fantastic car, great acceleration. Supposedly it was "Certified", but in my test drive I noticed the A/C light wouldn't stay on. I asked the dealer to fix it. He said A/C worked, but light did not. That's wrong. Module was bad. Worse, Mitsubishi discontinued and offered no solution, so I had to get one from a junk yard. Also, Right Rear Strut was improperly installed (dealer's fault, not car), and after a few months the left rear strut was also bad. Not the worst thing that can happen, but it's loud when I hit bumps. Anyway, the exterior design is dated, but the 3.8L engine is still terrific (accelerates very well off the light, even though this car weight 2 tons). That's the primary reason I bought a second one. They discontinued the GT about 10 years ago, but you can get them dirt cheap, however do NOT buy one of the ones with the smaller engines, they have no acceleration and there is no reason to get one. Oh, another thing. My 2006 is orange. Great color, but notorious for having the clear coat peel and bubble (skin disease). It costs over $5k to get it repainted with the same dealer color, and $2,500 to get it painted a stock color, so beware of the orange Eclipses.

Great value! Don’t hesitate to buy it if you can find a clean, well maintained, accident free example. They are relatively fast, not so expensive to maintain and not difficult to work on.

Bought my 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS new in 1996. Have not had any problems with it throughout it's history. Put 301,000+ on the original 3.0L engine, replaced it with rebuilt 3.0L and still running well. Drove 260 miles highway a few weeks ago and got 37.3 MPG. It is FAST - had the original 3.0L up to 158 MPH. Five speed transmission has had no problems (replaced clutch when installed new engine). Replaced top after about 300,000 miles, only problem has been with drivers side door handle (had to replace it twice). Handles very good. Love my Spidey!!!

Still turning heads after nearly 20 years. People often ask if I would sell it even though it's not for sale. The automated convertible top is easy (I have had others that were not), and low profile wheels are stylish and finding parking ANYWHERE is a breeze. My Toyota convertible was a 2-seater and having a back seat is amazingly convenient for a girls night out or just cruising. This car loves the sunshine but it has also seen some snow with no issues. Fun, fast, reliable and great gas mileage? This is the best car I've ever owned.

My wife and I still love this car. It is fast, hugs the road, sound system is great and it has been unbelievably reliable. In Sunset Pearl (orange) we still get compliments to this day. How many twelve year old cars are this good? Only downsides are interior ergonomics and turning radius.
