2023 Mitsubishi Outlander SEL BLACK EDITION. I bought mines brand new on Nov 2022. So far it had a recall for firmware update. As of now. Almost 15 k miles and no issues. I love all the features and was told ot doesn't have the issues its predecessor had. Mitsubishi invested millions in the 2023 models so hopefully I can get 200k or more miles out of it.

2023 outlander SE, now has 6500 miles on it. We bought it mostly because it was the best value, and a relative has one and recommended it. We love it, was concerned about power but it has plenty if not in the fuel saving mode..which got us 36mpg highway. Took awhile to get used to all the safety features, but in short they are great. We’ve used all seven seats a couple of times, the back two are ok for short trips, but that was expected. They fold away nicely. Paint was perfect, it’s some kind of white diamond, looks different depending on sunlight. There are a lot of sw driven options, could be confusing for older non-sw savvy folks. We have only used service for one issue, which turned out to be a user configurable issue (lane encroachment warning). It was working as designed, also the cruise control front vehicle avoidance was a pleasant surprise. Love this vehicle. We live on a pot hole filled dirt road, vehicle taking it well so far. It does have a stiff suspension, noticeable on our dirt road, but fine on paved roads. It is the all wheel drive version, we’ll see how it handles snow soon. Oh, ground clearance is decent, not too low. We do not have the on board guidance system, but can use apple play. Wife would have preferred this option. Another good surprise, it e-mails us notifications of warnings on the dash board, like “low tire pressure”. Cool. One last thing, we very seldom see another one on the road. Odd…this is a great vehicle.

Gas mileage could use some work. Tech is somewhat outdated but works fine for what I need. Overall a decent buy for those on a budget.

Dusty was great! He worked hard to make sure my warranty was honored and that my service was completed with care. Dusty also listened very carefully to my concerns and allowed me to speak without talking over me. He addressed all of my concerns and checked on things he did not know the answer to instead of brushing me off.

I have owned my Mitsubishi Outlander since 2018 and all I’ve done was buy a battery, tires and brakes and she still gets 35 miles per gallon on gas. I’m afraid to touch it under the hood and only lifted it for window washer fluid and oil changes. I totally love this car. I will buy another one but it will be a 2019 and P.S. I can hold 4 35X12.50X 20LT tires when back seats are down. Best SUV sleeper by far without the expensive prices of Toyota and Honda!!! Buy, Buy, Buy!!!

The interior is useless as a family car. Rip the back seats out, and just take the added trunk space. Performance wise, this model of GT is the fastest Eclipse to ever leave the factory, and in the GS form, turbos are easily installed on the 4G69; the big block of the 4G6# motor world, with the best flowing head of the series (sorry evo owners!). On an OEM evo intake manifold, it'll make peak power at 7200rpm, so it's a very happy motor to rev, with about a limit of 8200rpm on the stock valvetrain. Comfort wise, it's very nice on stock suspension without much float. Driving wise, in its stock form it's not as locked down as other sports cars, eg, Audi TT. Though that can be changed with fresh poly motor mounts, and stiffer sway bars or springs. Looks wise, it's bubbly. But once lowered a couple inches, it's there with the looks of a Porsche Reliability wise, with aggressive track use and 200,000 on the body (70,000 with me) total, 3 of the 4 wheel bearings are OEM, 2 sway bar end links had to be changed, and otherwise it has just been standard maintenance required. Keep in mind, the car is a GS running 500hp on a stock transmission, upgraded motor, and custom turbo setup. So when at the track, it sees far more abuse than a stock one ever would. For your typically daily driven car, it's fantastic. Commonly they last over 400,000km, but the main killer is the timing system. The timing belt AND balance shaft belt MUST be changed every 160,000km

Notes on the multi point stated my vehicle needed a lot of service, but none were explained. The receipt mentioned the rear differential but also not explained.

Already had this car for 3 years and still loving it.Remains modern with all it’s add ons…not jealous at all of all those expensive similar models…this has it all for a whole lot less…thank you

I just bought his car in June. Unfortunately for me someone hit my right front fender and it was in the body shop for 3 weeks. I love the comfort and how intuitive the interior is. Things are just in the right place. For me the 2020 is the perfect size. I had a DodgeJourney that just didn’t fit int my carport. I can pull this int the parking spot and have plenty of room. I do believe this is the favorite car I have ever bought and it looks sweet.

I went to Carmax on 4th of July. The place was not super packed, so that was great. We had a little 9th month old on tow, and were nervous that it would take us all day to shop. The only thing that took a lot of time was waiting for a sales man. Apparently, the new young guys at the front were more interested in flirting (yes flirting) with each other and playing around than realizing that we needed help or just plainly asking us if we were being helped. That really bothered me, as we wasted 30 mins just sitting dumb. The front desk girl was no help.. she was the one to tell us to sit and wait and then no where to be seen. Finally someone professional and extremely courteous walked by ... the service manager. He quickly apologized for our wait, and brought along Daniel Claudio. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOooooO thankful he did. Danny was professional, kind, humble, hard-working, and just all the way a pleasure to work with. He represented Carmax the way it should be. He took the details of what we were looking for and walked us around to cars that would fit our needs. The second car (nissan pathfinder) was a recommendation from him... and that was the car we bought. Danny if you're reading this... THANK YOU! I love my Outlander Phev! I’ve had mine 2 1/2 years and have to fill up maybe 20 times. I do a lot of short trips around my town - driving kids here and there and running errands. I’ve had zero mechanical issues and have found this to be one of the most reliable cars I’ve ever owned. It also feels so luxurious on the inside!

I have been an Ed Voyles customer for years and take my car to the service department for all of my services so that only certified Hyundai technicians with extensive knowledge do the work. I have had a pretty good experience for the time I have been coming but this last visit warranted a review, which is the first one I have left, to explain how overly satisfied and pleased I am. I was having some issues with my vehicle that I wanted to get looked at to see if they were repairs that needed to be done, after I expressed my concerns to Drew he immediately made me feel at ease and informed about the services and repairs needed to resolve all of my concerns. He gave me several options with cost effective options and at no point did I feel like I was being pushed or taken advantage of. He kept me informed via text message and called me when they had other recommendations. My questions were answered in great detail to where I had no concerns about work being done nor did I feel lost about items being taken care of. He was so friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable that I will be using him from now on and also informed my parents about him so they can use him for their Santa Fe. I purchased 2 new Mitsubishi Outlanders after doing Internet research on currently available mid-sized SUVs. A test drive nailed the choice. The 2025 model introduced several changes that have addressed prior criticisms about vague steering and hood vibrations and ride. The fit and finish of both exterior and interior is excellent, typical of a Japanese car and as good or better than the Toyota RAV4 or Nissan Rogue that were being considered (the Outlander and the Rogue share the same platform, but IMHO the Outlander is the better rendition). The interior of the SE trim is very plush at this price point with leatherette and suede seating that is supportive and "hugs" you and looks and feels better than more expensive luxury SUVs in this size class such as the Lincoln Corsair and Aviator. The standard Yamaha audio system produces astonishingly good sound with either Bluetooth audio or Sirius XM. The Outlander supports Android Auto, and its navigation is excellent. Steering feel is excellent and well-weighted, and braking is strong. The Outlander has a surprisingly small turning circle. The electronics assists and displays work flawlessly, especially the adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping and both front and rear parking assistance via the good-sized infotainment display screen, which also provides an overhead overall view (AI?). While the Outlander does have standard third-row seating, the seats and leg room are miniscule (suitable only for very small children or pets) and hard to access, but I plan to never use them for seating and keep them folded down to maximize cargo carrying space, which is even more generous with the second-row seatbacks folded down. Exterior styling is very bold and contemporary and distinctive, especially the front styling and the wheels; it has grown on me. The 2025 Outlander thankfully does not have that horrible stop-start feature where the engine shuts off if stopped at a traffic light, and in hot and humid Florida, the AC is not interrupted like on other new cars. The transmission shift lever is not intuitive to use, but eventually you get used to it (IMHO a simple rotary knob would be easier to use). The Outlander has a very generous power train warranty and comes with the initial three oil change services included. The horsepower is modest but more than adequate for city and suburban driving, and the CVT seems well mated to the engine and drives very smoothly. If Mitsubishi added a turbocharged version, that would certainly boost the acceleration.

Great first brand new car. I have seen these with 300k+ miles 2022 and 2023 miles. I got max loaded 2024 SEL or GT Premium Model. All wheel control is awesome in snow, I have seen people saying its better or even up to par with Subaru's symmetric AWD.

This was the easiest car buying experience I have had. They took me to the car I was interested in. Keys were there, we drove it right away. The price was competitive, the financing was lightning quick. They washed it while I was signing and I was out of there in under an hour. They even drove me to turn in my rental car so I could just drive my new car home and surprise the family. First class business.

Purchased new in March of 2022. Two and a half years and 20000 miles later still happy, only issues I’ve had are wireless charger doesn’t seem to work right and sometimes the backup cam/parking sensor think I’m parking when coming to a stop light. Otherwise love it

Feel like I got a great deal on a leftover 2024 Outlander SEL trim with the technology package. My only real complaint is that it could use a bit more power, off the line it’s ok, but when you need it the most it lags. They could swap this out for a more powerful engine or turbo. I definitely will most likely upgrade this to the PHEV model once’s it’s refreshed for 2026. Love the options, the Mi Pilot assist is very responsive and overall I feel safe in the vehicle. Mitsubishi deserves some love for this vehicle!!! So far no issues at all approaching 1600 miles driven.
