This car has all the pizzaz anyone can ask for regarding beauty, style,performance and handling. It's proven to handle most any sports car out there and the price was right also for a sports car. I loved it.

Grait car fun to drive still running great and buddy is in good shape just needs the muffler and the head gasket . Now I put stop leak and it works I may need it in the future but I will do it when it needs its wort it

There is a reason I keep coming back to these gems. I'm about to purchase my 4th one. I've owned a GS for 10 years and 2 GTs for 7 years. One being a Spyder which I always said was the best car I ever owned. Perfectly balanced, fast, great looks, beatiful paint colors. A blast to drive. The interior lighting and the 650 watt Rockford Fosgate are AMAZING. Everything feels right about the car. And the cost of ownership is great, just basic maintenance. I regretted getting rid of them all (traded 2 for a Vette). After 2 years, I"m going back. Found a Spyder GT in Rave Red and it will arrive soon. I can't wait to drive this gem of a car again!

I have a 2006 Eclipse GT and love it, but it's near the end of its life so I wanted another. I got this 2009 with 80,000 miles. Fantastic car, great acceleration. Supposedly it was "Certified", but in my test drive I noticed the A/C light wouldn't stay on. I asked the dealer to fix it. He said A/C worked, but light did not. That's wrong. Module was bad. Worse, Mitsubishi discontinued and offered no solution, so I had to get one from a junk yard. Also, Right Rear Strut was improperly installed (dealer's fault, not car), and after a few months the left rear strut was also bad. Not the worst thing that can happen, but it's loud when I hit bumps. Anyway, the exterior design is dated, but the 3.8L engine is still terrific (accelerates very well off the light, even though this car weight 2 tons). That's the primary reason I bought a second one. They discontinued the GT about 10 years ago, but you can get them dirt cheap, however do NOT buy one of the ones with the smaller engines, they have no acceleration and there is no reason to get one. Oh, another thing. My 2006 is orange. Great color, but notorious for having the clear coat peel and bubble (skin disease). It costs over $5k to get it repainted with the same dealer color, and $2,500 to get it painted a stock color, so beware of the orange Eclipses.

I bought my car to import it to Argentina, and honestly, the whole process was a complete success! They helped me with everything it was much easier than I expected. I truly recommend them! About a month ago I bought a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 for just over $4000. The car had 145k on the odometer, but the seller had the papers to prove that the motor and transmission are freshly rebuilt with only 4k miles on the rebuild. Lucky me. I drove the car 2 and a half hours on ride home, and have daily driven it since. Comfort is not the greatest in these cars. The ride is stiff, and there is constant road noise, especially traveling down the highway. Performance wise, this car has it all. Straight line acceleration is stratospheric, and the brakes feel like they might rip your face off. All Wheel Drive and All Wheel Steering make the car handle very, very well. However, at night, the dim dashlights make it hard to see how fast you are going, and this car does attract alot of attention. Both good and bad. I will provide an update in a few months time.

I love the look both outside and inside! For me it has more than enough speed. I can easily go 80 to overtake a vehicle on the freeway, which is plenty enough for me. I'm not on a race track. I'm surprised at how features it has on the inside. I'm thinking of replacing the shocks for a more comfortable ride, but other than that, I'm very satisfied!

I love my Mitsubishi. The only issue I have is due to its size, its got a lot of blind spots but otherwise its been a great car . It has virtually needed nothing throughout the 70 k miles Ive owned it other than regular maintenance like tires, oil etc. Nice looking, running, dependable car.

The eclipse gt has been a pleasure to own. Has never given me any problems. It's fast. Beautiful eye candy. The exhaust sounds amazing. Too bad Mitsubishi no longer makes these.

The car meets all of me& my wife's comforts&long term needs for travel&other endeavors. I'm not a SUV guy...but this car has changed my mind.

The interior is useless as a family car. Rip the back seats out, and just take the added trunk space. Performance wise, this model of GT is the fastest Eclipse to ever leave the factory, and in the GS form, turbos are easily installed on the 4G69; the big block of the 4G6# motor world, with the best flowing head of the series (sorry evo owners!). On an OEM evo intake manifold, it'll make peak power at 7200rpm, so it's a very happy motor to rev, with about a limit of 8200rpm on the stock valvetrain. Comfort wise, it's very nice on stock suspension without much float. Driving wise, in its stock form it's not as locked down as other sports cars, eg, Audi TT. Though that can be changed with fresh poly motor mounts, and stiffer sway bars or springs. Looks wise, it's bubbly. But once lowered a couple inches, it's there with the looks of a Porsche Reliability wise, with aggressive track use and 200,000 on the body (70,000 with me) total, 3 of the 4 wheel bearings are OEM, 2 sway bar end links had to be changed, and otherwise it has just been standard maintenance required. Keep in mind, the car is a GS running 500hp on a stock transmission, upgraded motor, and custom turbo setup. So when at the track, it sees far more abuse than a stock one ever would. For your typically daily driven car, it's fantastic. Commonly they last over 400,000km, but the main killer is the timing system. The timing belt AND balance shaft belt MUST be changed every 160,000km

I bought this one. I've had two prior 1 the Dodger Stealth was the 3000GT without the Mitsubishi Logo, but it was on the interior and windshield. The second was a 3000GT. The Dodge was a 5 speed, the Mitsubishi was an automatic. The Dodge was a 24V dual overhead cam, the Mitsubishi was the standard engine. Both cars were excellent as far as handling and comfort. Only one mechanical issue and that was the water pump in the Dodge.

Very good car. Powerfull and reliable. The design is awesome. I really recommend this car cuz the brand is pretty good also. Sport car I like sunroof and confortable design.

I’ve almost all of sports cars year or 2 older Usually look for a sports car when a girl/guy has to give up car for baby !Ive had luck buying used cars had to get rid of it that’s when I buy them ! Lol The red flip up lights I bought it & sold pretty quickly & Bought (My Fav pearl, white leather SL ! I loved the car ! )Handles great! Trust me fast! I think It’s had Excellent speed &very comfortable. I loved it the red but I just had a feeling about it I just looked at the car a lot ! Of course reason gut feeling driving fast ! With both cars! I thought I was going to not die not bc of the car just a feeling lol & not a fan lights. ! I didn’t have anything wrong with either car ! Tires for ect! Normal stuff! BMW Z3 ! Same thing

Come on, that new box has nothing to do or compare to an Eclipse !!! Lack of imagination for finding another name for that SUV box. Come on...
