I bought my Mitsubishi eclipse cross es 2023 this spring and put 9000 miles on it. What a great mid size suv for the value. This vehicle far exceeded my expectation, I'm a 4 year trade in person but I believe this one I'll keep for as long as I can. The reviews says it's as reliable as the most expensive one's compared to on the market.

This car is great for a first car! I’ve gotten this car as 16 year old brand new in 2015. Since then I had many oil changes and tire rotations. I use this car for transportation of friends and family, going to work and school. As of today I have over 200,000+ miles on this and it is still going strong. With me getting around 39-45mpg every day. (Back when gas was under a dollar I only paid $7 for a fill up. Now it’s $20 so definitely worth it instead of paying $40-$80 per fill up.) The only issue I have with it is the check engine light is on and doing diagnostics it has emissions issues with a small leak. The inside you get a basic radio I suggest getting a Bluetooth audio receiver so you can listen to your own music on your phone. Driving at night is one of the worst things in this car. You get blinded every time you go past a car in the opposite lanes. Also the cloth seats are amazing your xxx is never frozen compared to a leather seat.

I've owned many cars and over 7 Mitsubishis,They are some of the most dependable and underrated cars and SUVs today. I feel like the so called pro reviews attack the Mitsubishi because of older reliable technology,and not having all the newer technology that's untested or gimmicks that will be obsolete or expensive to fix. The v6 is tried and true dependable responsive as is the transmission. So if you want reliability this is the vehicle,the AWD is second to none . I also own a gsx AWD turbo 1g as I've owned 2g and other examples. I bought with 90k for a steal from a dealer over 3 years ago and haven't had one issue with it ,runs great ,smooth good options but,USB, Sirius,cd player. Sonte ever plan on getting rid of this will maintain and keep Just look at all the issues with newer cars including the Nissan engines in new outlander ,the Mazda turbos etc. give me a old reliable proven platform over some new shiny technology that breaks easily or is issue prone. So I don't take care reviews from the big mags seriously anymore. I do my own research and for me got to have a suv with a v6 and awd as well as economy modes and. Plenty of room

This car is a fantastic daily driver, but it doesn't really suit the needs for a family of more than 3, maybe 4. Maintenance costs are high, but worth it. Modifications add power and are multiplicative. A simple cat-back and a tune will net gains you can feel in the seat of your pants.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Champion Chevrolet in Howell Michigan. If I had just two words to say about my experience there it would be Logan Richardson. The interior is useless as a family car. Rip the back seats out, and just take the added trunk space. Performance wise, this model of GT is the fastest Eclipse to ever leave the factory, and in the GS form, turbos are easily installed on the 4G69; the big block of the 4G6# motor world, with the best flowing head of the series (sorry evo owners!). On an OEM evo intake manifold, it'll make peak power at 7200rpm, so it's a very happy motor to rev, with about a limit of 8200rpm on the stock valvetrain. Comfort wise, it's very nice on stock suspension without much float. Driving wise, in its stock form it's not as locked down as other sports cars, eg, Audi TT. Though that can be changed with fresh poly motor mounts, and stiffer sway bars or springs. Looks wise, it's bubbly. But once lowered a couple inches, it's there with the looks of a Porsche Reliability wise, with aggressive track use and 200,000 on the body (70,000 with me) total, 3 of the 4 wheel bearings are OEM, 2 sway bar end links had to be changed, and otherwise it has just been standard maintenance required. Keep in mind, the car is a GS running 500hp on a stock transmission, upgraded motor, and custom turbo setup. So when at the track, it sees far more abuse than a stock one ever would. For your typically daily driven car, it's fantastic. Commonly they last over 400,000km, but the main killer is the timing system. The timing belt AND balance shaft belt MUST be changed every 160,000km
