With the great floods of North Jersey, my pride and joy, my pleasure to drive, my daily driver got washed away. Totaled. The insurance companies were inundated with similar cases and took forever to cut a check. And to make matters worse, there were no rentals to be found. All I could scrape together was $3,000. A buddy of mine passes their lot every day on his way home from work. He always mentioned how they have such a nice selection of cars on their front line. I popped in on a Saturday morning and was immediately greeted by 2 nice young men, David and I forgot the other guy but I know it started with a “P”. Nevertheless, I told them my situation and they found me a perfect car. The fact of the matter is, they got me exactly what I needed during my time of need. The lord works in mysterious ways but I am thankful I was guided to them. I will keep coming back and spread the word to all the members of my church. Many blessings to them!

Reliable car for me, mine has 229,000 miles and still going strong. It groans and clunks and has some rust but the engine still runs good doesn’t burn oil. Fairly simple and easy to repair. Definitely buy an older year if you want it to last.

Needed a second car to keep the miles down on my leased Acura ILX. It’s not something I am driving everyday so it doesnt need to be as nice as my Acura. I walked around the lot and found a nice honda with good miles. The price was right. I didn't have it in me to play hardball with the kid. They got me an extended warranty for a minor additional charge, which I know I am going to use in the future. I’m not handy, that is why I lease new Acuras. But they worked with me. Only thing they need is a coffee maker and maybe a nice donut spread like they do at the Acura dealer

Bought my 2006 Sentra in 2010 at a car auction with 30k miles for below Blue Book. Now has 138k miles. No problems so far, faithfully do regular scheduled maintenance. Great value for an around-town car.

I had a 2007 Volvo S40T a few years back and was amazed by it, simple to work on, reliable as all xxxx, quick and a gas saver, so I recently decided to get another S40, this time I got a 2005 S40 I, yes that same diehard 5 cylinder motor, but without the turbo, and let me tell you, it's crazy fast, saves gas and is fun to drive, Love my Volvo.

As a single mother of 3 little ones, I need something dependable and big enough to haul around all of their toys and sports equipment. In the past I have been burned by used car dealers. After my husband left me, I can no longer afford to lease Acadia’s. Dave and Michael were great. They were very low pressure and offered for me to have a local mechanic of my choice take a look at the van. After the mechanic inspected the van, he noticed that there was a minor leak in the radiator. Dave and Michael went above and beyond for me. They ordered the part for the van and 3 days later it was repaired and ready for me to drive home. (owner of three 06/07 g6 GT/GTPs convertibles) Wonderful, sporty look. Design is great with minimal flaws such as cover that opens when top comes down malfunctioning or air vents coming out. Seats look great but sit in this car longer then two hours you'll wish you weren't. Every car I've seen has a rip in driver seat, you'll know what I mean if you own one most likely. Engine and transmission are strong and reliable with little maintenance needed. Things like CV joints, ball joints, sway bars, etc you'll need to replace often along with many electrical details and oil/tranny leaks. All around amazing, going on five years with my first one from 132k miles to 203k miles it runs just as it did the day I bought it.

I got a 2001 Buick LeSabre limited in 2009. I had the car until 2019. The car was actually donated to the " wheels for work program" in Wi I signed up for the program and was very fortunate & extremely grateful for this opportunity! I was a single parent of a young boy at the time . The wheels for work program gave me the opportunity to be approved for a loan & the payments were $50 a month for the car . This car was very reliable, although the window regulators that were made for this car were made out of plastic causing the windows , both drivers n passenger side ,come off track and had to be replaced. This can be costly if done professionally, I had some one fix n them as a side job & only cost me $60. A Buick flaw! I put this car through a LOT and the body wasn't looking too good when I finally put her to rest, but the motor was still running!

The fine gentlemen at NJ Auto Pros really know how to work out a deal! I had very little money as I am on disability due to a series of unfortunate work accidents. I was currently rolling around in a busted up Lincoln continental that looked like it was old during the bicentennial. The boys took my car in as a trade to help offset the cost of the new car. The car really should have been junked however they made me a beyond fair offer for my car. Hope I do not need another car anytime soon, but when I do, I will be calling the boys at NJ Auto Pros. I've had my 2003 Malibu for about 4 years now,no problems from this car. Only regular maintenance. I love it and would buy another or newer one

What can I say about my Mitsubitchy. I love my car. I love everything about her, even when she decides to cost me a few thousand in parts. I own a 2009 2.0 L automatic and all fairness she is high up there in her miles. She’s currently in the shop for new control arms, and new lateral links, new gas tank (along with straps and hardware), new fuel pump (only because they are already changing the tank and it’s wise to do while the tanks off) and 1 of 2 O2 sensors (hopefully the right one or I’m going to have to pay the 290.00 some for the rest one). I have been informed from many lancer owners that this is a common issue with the Lancers.. a check engine light from the O2. I own two lancers and both I have the same issue, corner rusting on the hood, good thing I bought a new one of those too. Also rusting on the very top of the car. Other then that I haven’t really had any issues with her other then basic maintenance and she’s never left me stuck on the side of the road so that’s a huge bonus. Oh and the only finally issue is the heat shield for the Cadillac converter always likes to rust off of them even despite consistent undercoatings and now, they don’t make them anymore for the car. Big sad face on that one as I’m trying to completely restore all the parts on my car to brand new. But honestly, cars cost to maintain, it’s pretty simple, some parts are super cheap, some are more expensive. That goes the same for any vehicle. She’s sexy and sporty, handles like an absolute dream, takes corners like a boss at high speeds… shhh I didn’t say that, and is all around the most amazing car I have ever seen and owned. But don’t just take my word for it, I’m biased, I have loved these cars since I was a child! Take the advice of all these lovely people also saying they rock!

Great starter car. Very functional, surprising amount of cargo space. Extremely reliable, runs well after two previous owners. Steering is not very sharp, the vehicle is a bit long, and can feel like a boat for a 2dr coupe. Most important factors for me: It does the job - and it was great value for the money.

Bought new in 2007 and still runs and looks like new. As reliable as they get..only needed routine maintenance for 16 years. It's a simple car without much that can go wrong. Handles great, reasonably peppy and good fuel mileage. Still love it after all these years..not interested in a new car!

The best purchase of my life. Bought this while in college as a basic sedan that I always liked the look of, and it was the most pleasant surprise of my life! So affordable, fun, peppy, responsive, and easy to maintain. It’s one of those cars that becomes your identity and a part of your personality. Maintained the car in my early 20s while going to school and had zero issues funding this car. Gas is cheap and my most major issue was the suspension needed to be redone when I hit 200k miles and because of harsh winters, I decided to put that repair money into a new AWD car. I miss the Mazda though!!! Recommend this vehicle to anyone and everyone!

Bought the car from a private sale with over 200k km on it. Been pretty reliable for the most part with a few problems here and there (starter went back in November but was relatively cheap to fix) other then that the intake manifold needs to be replaced. Expect issues to arise down the line of owning this car (carbon buildup, timing chain tensioner, fuel pump, cam followers etc) but aslong as you keep up with maintenance and care for the car I don’t doubt it will the car will bring you anywhere without any issues. Bought used with 86000 miles. No motor issues except when I got bad gas twice. Biggest complaint like others, the mirrors start buzzing and won't shut off. Raineys Auto pulled wire on left one, suppose to order one, that was 2 or 3 years ago. Never had 1 in stocks for next 8 months. Now the right ones doing it. Only real complaint. I think my AC pulley or belt is loose a little noisey but not like that freightrain mirror. I think mirrors are a quality issue. But I do have 237,000 miles now. So for the most part I would give it a good 4.3. It's actually more comfortable that my Mitz. Outlander was.

I have had many cars in life, currently the S60 2.4T AWD for over a year. I'm an outdoorsman, passionate hiker and this car does everything I need. I can even sleep in there in straight position (185cm tall). The car is super reliable, parts are not the cheapest but the car won't need many and often. Performance is OK for a daily driver, obviously there are more powerful ones but I don't actually even need more. 147kw is good enough. AWD allows me to leave home even at harder winter. The interior leather is good, I keep a dog with me and it can be cleaned to look as good as new. Fabric interior on my previous car was looking and stinking awfully in less than a year... Also this is the only car I can take over 1000km trip in a day and won't have a horrible back pain later. So in conclusion if you want a good cruiser, reliable hiker, better performance than average grocery getter, and are willing to pay a bit more for the comfort, go for it.

can’t recommend independence auto enough. it was a great experience from the first call asking about the toyota I was interested in buying for my wife to the very last detail of picking up the car. It all went without any bumps. Easy. And the car runs outstanding. My wife is very happy with it. The prices are the best in the area. The dealership Adam is very efficient and beyond helpful. Well just got to 190K miles with minimal trouble. Hit two deer and had repairs other than that just tires, oil, a couple lights was the maintenance. Mine is a 4 cylinder but has been up to 123 mph. Impressive power for a 4 banger I hate to think of giving it up.

My only issue is it uses a lot of oil they had a 2008 recall on oil consumption they did not do anything for the 2009 with the same. Uses a quart every 500 miles. Bad lower rings, Toyota knew that in 08.

I bought one new in 2003, 211k miles and still going. In 22 years I have had the following maintenance: 1-Alternator, 2- radiators, 2- water pumps, upper ball joint assembly on front passenger side, valve cover gaskets, 1-set of spark plugs, 2- Power module fuses, replaced head liner and the normal tires and Breakpads. Still has the Ford electrical wiring quirks; door ajar faut sensor lights which in the interior dome light will not turn off. All things considered for the amount of space and towing its a good value.

I just bought a used 2012. It has all the options offered for that year. I am am very pleased with it. It is lust like new with 140,000 miles. It drives and handles like a brand new car.
