I absolutely recommend this car if you need a workhorse to drive you back and forth and not to die on you. A couple things about this car --- 200k miles with multiple total-loss level accidents because my jobs at the time had me on the road most days. Still running strong. I just took it on an interstate road trip and it doesn't miss a beat. This car is hard to kill. I don't know how this thing was built by Toyota but it is seriously impressive value for the money. Worth literally every penny for what I've squeezed out of it so far. Cons: the disrespect you get is insane. I've driven other cars and the hate that this car receives in particular is laughable. Also the performance is ridiculously bad, which everyone knows. One way to sum this up, I had a friend of mine once say, "It's hard to look another man in the eye while getting out of a Prius."

This dealership has an excellent policy. I have been shopping for a new Jeep for about two years now. This dealership never overwhelmed me with follow up calls or texts. They also took me serious and were patient with me. I visited the dealership about four times in two years before I decided to buy. Other dealerships either ran me off for not buying what they had on the lot, or they wouldn’t take me serious about special ordering. Charles and Caleb earned my business because they worked as a team to listen to what I needed in a vehicle as well as what it would take to close the deal. Then they executed superior customer service. I am very happy that I bought from Fields Automotive!

The one weak point is that there is a design defect. The exhaust manifold leading to cylinders tends to get clogged up. Must be cleaned every 60 k miles (200 dollar job) to avoid head gasket replacement. Otherwise should run forever. 250 k miles and doesn't use drop of oil. 2014 is known to be vintage year, with all kinks worked out of generation 3 - except for aforementioned. Besides being ultra reliable, the car is simply the best use of space and readily available fuel possible. Enormous cargo space with back seats down. Up, passengers have room almost equivalent to full-size sedan. Simply best car ever made. Just look out for traction battery expense. But even that can be mitigated using rebuilt batteries and independent shops.

It’s so rare these days that I have an exceptional customer service experience, so I wanted to share this one with anyone considering a Subaru (or anyone around Asheville looking for a car.) I was in the automotive business for years, and I rarely met a dealer who runs his business like this guy. From the first contact (via email) with Skye Autohaus in Weaverville, the service was top-notch. I visited the dealership several times to check out different cars, and each time I showed up, the folks were friendly and helpful. The cars were ready to go, even started and heated, ready for my test drive, on a particularly cold day. It didn’t matter that Travis had the “deal” due to a referral (meaning, he was my salesperson). I was helped by Ed, Kristen, and Rob, the owner. Kristen delivered the car I chose, even though she won’t see the commission from it. I highly recommend her and Ed, whom I worked with the most. Dennis, who details the cars, was around and provided great information, as well. Everyone I interacted with was super friendly and personable; that’s important to me. The car I settled on is a real beauty. One of the things that makes Skye Autohaus exceptional is that they buy great cars to begin with, and go over each with a fine toothed comb, taking care of everything they possibly can before they sell it. My 2013 Outback Premium has a new transmission, new tires and new brakes. It was clean as a whistle on delivery, and the experience from start to finish couldn’t have been better. With the money I saved on the car, I purchased an extended warranty that will cover it for another 3 years. The Keurig was always ready to go, and they even have half and half in the fridge (none of that fake crap)! No pressure, no haggling. They hand you the keys to any car you’re considering, let you look it over, take it for a drive. They’re available for questions, but they don’t push anything on you. They know they have great cars and that if you don’t buy the car, someone else will. I really can’t say enough good things about the folks at Skye Autohaus. And, they ship their cars ANYWHERE, so you don’t have to live in Weaverville (Asheville) to get a great car at a great price. AND, they're going to consign my Volvo, so I don't have to deal with selling it. I'll pay them to detail it, they'll take care of a couple of small repair items at wholesale, list the car on every website they advertise their cars on, show the car, and complete the deal! to: Campmeat from Arizona Someone told me my lifters were going bad because when I first started my truck I heard ticking noise until the engine got warm. I took my truck to a honest very hard to find mechanic and he told me I had a hole in my exhaust manifold. I paid $800 and 195,000 miles later still no ticking.

I have owned a Kia Soul Brownstone Edition for 6 years now. It hasn't given us any issues aside from a brake ABS failure in warranty. However, since Kia skimped out on immobilizers, I wouldn't get one without push button start, which is most of them, unfortunately. While they extended the warranty on the engine, they have plenty of fundamental issues with it, and also, my Kia after 4 years, has noises in front and back suspension sway bars, and the strut tower bearings make noise. While these don't need to be fixed, they make the car sound like crap. I just drove a 2019 Kona with the same amount of miles, and the suspension on that was just fine. Might be due to the larger wheels and smaller profile tires, I don't know. If Kia ever sells the EV soul in the US, I'd get that. So far, they've been good.

I've only had the car for a week, but gets great gas mileage. If you can believe the mileage on the dash I'm getting 38.8 mpg. It isn't a speed demon but has good pickup for a 4 cyl car. I do notice hesitation when shifting into drive but it I attribute that to lack of power. It does fine getting me where I need to go.

The gray front bumpers do not scratch easily and that is good especially for a young driver. Versatile, can tow well, good family car, good space, not too large but not small, quirky design, great on the highway, and can take it almost anywhere u want especially with a 4WD. I have a 2WD but I still take it anywhere down dirt roads and up mountain gravel roads. Such a unique vehicle and it’s tough as nails. It accelerates well especially for the time it was made. Nothing fancy but it’s purely durable inside and out. It is a SUV on a truck frame with a large V6 engine so all the people complaining about gas mileage are quite frankly ignorant because they must have expected something different.

They were very courteous, knowledgeable, professional and honest. I would buy from them again if I ever need another vehicle.

I was between a rock and a hard place after my Honda passed away-it drove itself to its demise due to the handbrake not on tight enough. So I had nothing to trade, no leverage. I know Subarus owned many Outbacks and they go forever. The problem is I'm 5' tall and this car is too big for me after the Honda and a Miata I have. I had 2 big dogs and felt the car would be great for a dog owner. Which it is. One dog rode on the back seat (covered) the other had the back to herself. Great for a dog owner. If you need a crate there's plenty of room. This would be a great vehicle for a children or pet family. I only have one 10 yr old dog left and this uses too much gas for me to consider a practical vehicle.

We pull behind our 34 foot rv Fiesta is 5 speed manual, no steering wheel lock, puts o miles on when pulling , great fuel economy.

I bought this Dart used. It was a one-owner car with 26,970 miles. The fit and finish are excellent. Amazing standard features for a car of the original MSRP. The car's looks are still current 9 years after production ceased. It normally gets around 25-30 MPG. My only complaint is the Hyundai 6-speed automatic as I wish that it had an American-made 9-speed automatic instead. I had been driving various Plymouth and Dodge Neons for 31 years prior to the purchase of this Dart.

Beautiful car and it's sounds bada** . Love the stick shift , and it's VERY reliable , easy fix .when you turn on the car it roars to life . When I got the car it wouldn't run I got it for 300 I probably invested 300 more and it was running amazing . Love it

Brian is both kind and courteous. I willl say that if you wish to peruse the lot apparently you will not know the prices of the car as in this dealership the sales folk must provide that information as it is not present on the car readily available.

My 2010 Prius with the solar panel package has been the best car I’ve ever owned. At 180k miles it drives like a dream and I’ve never had to replace anything besides the brakes. If I drive right I actually get 60-85 mpg. It’s a really wonderful car. I expect another 50 to 100k more miles out of it.

This is my second renagade, I wanted a 2021 limited and that’s what I have now. I have a long history with many models of jeeps, but I have to say this one is my all time favorite . I love everything about it. It’s a tank in the snow and mud . We have climbed to the top of a mountain with it. I feel safe and secure that I will never get stranded in the snow. It’s comfortable, and just the right size . I love the Easter eggs they hid in the car ! We were able to fit all our camping gear in it and bikes and kayaks too. I love the look of it and it’s fun ! I will never get rid of this car , it’s a keeper.

Bought 2013 Legacy 2.5 premium in early 2014 with approximately 9k miles. Now has 88k and other than routine maintenance no other issues. It has been and remains one of the most reliable cars I have ever owned. That includes a few BMW’s and Mercedes. Great all year round especially in the winter. Will definitely consider another Subaru if this one ever xxxxxx. Hoping not

I had a travel experience in January 2023, while vacationing in Florida, to save money I ordered a subcompact and was up graded to a Chevy Malibu. The LT has the smaller 1.5 L 4 Cylinder which was great on gas, performance was good, not great like my Chevy Avalanche. Missed my flight back to JFK NYC, My fault. Jet Blue got me to LaGuardia AP. Rental Company at JFK was About to Close. The same Company had a branch in LaGuardia they rented me a Malibu at no extra cost. It snowed and the front wheel drive just held the road. That's why I purchased a 2020 Malibu Premier it had everything but the Safety & entertainment. I loved everything else.

The 2016 Subaru Outback is the first car I'd ever bought brand new, and I haven't been disappointed since it was purchased 7 years ago. It's very reliable, fun to drive, easy on gas, easy on maintenance and easy on the eyes. Will do it all over again when I make my next Subaru purchase!
