After owning many Nissan LEAFs over the years (Canadians kept buying them from me), the newer body style in 2018 release was a total winner. Better looking and the ride is definitely more refined, and our 2022 is flawless. These cars are the best kept secret in motoring. They are a HUGE value, and would be a great only car, but in almost all instances, the PERFECT second vehicle. They cost almost nothing to drive and maintain, and the insurance is also very reasonable.

We leased a Nissan Leaf in 2013 and again in 2020. They were almost giving them away in 2020 since gasoline was $2 under Trump's watch. We got ours for $149 a month, zero down, no other fees. We really like the Leaf. Excellent commuter and City car. The company I work for has free L2 chargers so it's a win-win. Car is quiet, solid, and no squeaks or rattles.

The car has exactly what I wanted which is environmental friendliness, low purchase cost (with gov't rebates), low fuel cost, and minimal maintenance requirements. I don't recommend it for long trips because CHAdeMO DCFC is obsolete, but I rely almost exclusively on home recharging. I think the S+ is the best choice because it has the longest range and it lacks driver assistance, which I believe is too immature as a technology.

My wife and I just bought a new 2024 Tiguan SE from Alexandria VW, and we were very impressed with the attention and service we received. (We found out later that Thursday was Atig's day off, which he gave up to accommodate our schedule) Atig made our car buying experience a real pleasure. He showed us a number of vehicles and features we were interested in. He has a very easy-going way about him, that made us very comfortable, asking questions and discussing details with him. We also shared some laughs and stories along the way. which made more relaxed. He was genuinely helpful and caring that we got what we wanted. the perfect car for commuting if you don't have to drive long distances. Smooth ride, comfortable seats, has a lot of zip, lots of interior space for a small car. Very economical: electricity is less expensive per mile than gasoline, never needs an oil change or tune up because it has no engine, never needs an emmissions test because it has no emmisions.

One needs to be "ready" to drive an EV. Charging a car is different than filling it with gasoline. But with a little planning, it works great, and it is MUCH cheaper. The car is really fun to drive. It's quiet, with very little vibration, yet VERY responsive. It has lots of great safety features, as well. It is well-priced, and the $7,500 federal rebate was really helpful! It's a great car.

Safety and value. Was looking for an EV for a new teen driver. Safety, ease of use, visibility, features (ePedal and 360 camera specific to LEAF), and VALUE (with dealer discounts before the auto market heated up and credits), was the easiest car buying decision I have ever made. Dealer experience so so. They all hedged around the $7500 Fed Tax incentive, so, recommend you figure this out at time of purchase. The customer service at the dealership I bought the car was mixed. Note: I have NOT owned the car long enough to determine its reliability. Now problems so far. Time to power the electric grid with sustainable sources.

Dealer had the car we inquired about on-site and ready for test drive. Did not disclose that the charger was missing. Did not disclose that the window tinting was in excess of Maryland registration requirements. Was straightforward on price and fees.

Ok so don't let the miles or lack of engin noise scare you and you'll be fine! Electric vehicles are different from a 2015 chevy spark that cost $300 per tire, $70 oil change and $15 gas in week to $3-5 to fill up if want to pay at walmart. Charges from normal 110v socket over night. Its a trade higher insurance avg 23% and plate cost vs oil and gas costs. It should balance out plus way more fun to drive knowing gas is not a factor and your wall plug is always in trunk!
