I fell in love with the new bodystyle Maxima when it came out in 2016. I have it now for 7 years now with 99,212 miles and it is still drives smoothly. It's my baby. I am planning to put another 100,000 miles. I have no single problem at all but of course I am faithfully get it serviced. Sad that this will be the last year that they are making the Maxima. By the way, I named her Maxie.

I've owned 7 total with 0 issues. The cvt is quick and responsive. The exhaust has a nice tone to it. Seats are comfortable I've owned German luxury cars and I prefer the Altima seats. I love my car.

The 2021 Altima is a good but not great car. I have the SL trim which comes with more interior comfort and 1 of 2 extra features. I like the sporty style and tech features but the CVT transmission sucks sometimes. If I had to buy a sedan again I would choose a BMW 3 series instead cuz I like excellence in cars. But overall for anyone who would like to have something good and basic pros, yes the Altima can make it.

Surprising power on the highway. Great gas mileage. Very roomy interior, and the dash and radio buttons and components are very easy to see and use. We chose this over an Accord, initially because the local Honda dealer is crazy, but we like everything about it.

Having problems with backup camera it looks very foggy. Had it back to dealer twice, no luck. No CD player.. big downgrade.

Started our search in Sacramento, thought bigger city better selection, not the case. Decided to look locally and that is was brought my son and I to Northstate Auto Brokers. Our first time on the lot we met Andy and we had a moderate interest in a car they had on the lot, he gave us his card and was not pushy at all. We ended up looking around at other options (of course) and found our way back to purchase the Mazda we saw on the lot a week earlier. We had a no haggle price decision (thanks Steve), car was detailed and we drove home that day with the vehicle. The service department has great customer service. They are polite and professional. However, there have been some occasions when my car's engine has been overfilled with oil, which is not good. The techs and reps are polite and sometimes go above and beyond creating a great customer service experience.
