I bought my 2002 Ford Focus stationwagon 9 months ago with 180,000km for 1400 CAD. It has the 2.0 Zetec engine and the 5 speed manual transmission mated to it. Currently sitting at 215,000km and it is still running strong. Comfort-wise it's great. I made a 11 hour drive in one day and was not even sore, the amount of headroom, especially in the wagon, is great aswell. Interior design, is alright, it's quirky. Lots of curves, definetly shows its age but everything works great and is easy to operate. Performance wise, its alright. Definetly not a race car by any means, but it is fast enough. The value for money on one of these used is amazing - if you are somewhat mechanically inclined and can do basic repairs and maintenence. Exterior styling is good, its a very interesting looking car. Since I got it 35,000km ago heres what I've done for repairs: Valve cover gasket, motor mounts, hatch struts. I've done a ton of maintenence, all the reccomended stuff for this mileage, but those are the only things I've had to repair. It is currently leaking a bit of oil but on a 1400$ car it doesn't really bother me, doesnt even leak enough to get even halfway down the dipstick between oil changes. It hasn't ever left me stranded.

For the money you can't do much better. Quiet, sleek and has lots of options available. Has plenty of room and storage for this class of car. Love the AWD version as I live in a part of the country that gets a fair amount of snow.

Outstanding vehicle ... gas mileage between 28-32 mpg. Oil changes a bit on the pricey side typically would not take to the dealer there are other options that are less expensive, other than that as long as its under warranty (and that is the case with any high-end vehicle) you are golden.

As a daily driver this car can’t be beat. Fun acceleration from the start or during mid range driving. Really comfortable and beautiful inside. Exterior is also nice but doesn’t really distinguish itself from other 5 series models. I traded in my 2019 Mercedes e63s for this car and as a daily driver the M 550 is much more comfortable and actually more fun to drive. The e63 had a minmal advantage in the steering and a definite wonderfulness in engine growl in sport plus mode but the bumpiness in the car was a real detraction that in retrospect would only be acceptable on a track. I bought a 2023 m 550i in our Florida home after I had read about and test drove it and loved it so much, that traded in the Mercedes as mentioned above for a second one in our Pennsylvania home.

Recently I brought in my 2022 Yukon because of a lifter failure. Good handling car in all weather. Blind spots in back causes me to pay extra attention to people coming up on my sides. Great mileage if you avoid excessive speed. Quite riding vehicle.

I've had my '19 Ridgeline RTL-E for about 3 years now, she's my daily. Super comfortable ride, I'm 5'10 with long legs and I do wish that the driver seat would go back just a tad bit more. One thing that has spoiled me is the heated steering wheel, I love that feature. As far as the performance goes, it's pretty quick once you get going. I wish it was much more responsive rather than the slow take off it has now. The 6-speed transmission does worry me as I have heard some concerning things about it, and I love to keep my vehicles until they quit on me. Other than that, I do enjoy the rear power sliding window, and the speakers in the bed. Many of my truck buddies are impressed by this mid-size truck's handle and as am I.

My 2018 Traverse is large enough that I (6'2") can get into and out of it with no problem. If I put the 2nd row of seats down, I can stretch out with room to spare. Averaged 29mpg on a 1400 mile trip in Sept. Has more power and better mpg than my 2012 did. If I get another car, it will once again be a Traverse if it is still available.

Have owned this 2019 Subaru ascent touring model for just over 2 years. Eye site feature is my fav. Car responds to changing traffic speeds automatically. great in heavy highway traffic. The Subaru service department at my dealership keeps it in tp top shape. I highly highly recommend this car. I'm sure the newer models are even better.

I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. I got the option to test drive a hybrid NX. And after driving it I can honestly say I'm much happier driving my NX350 gas version (I have a 2025 NX 350 Luxury). First I notice the hybrid felt under power, and then I realize that my gas version has a stronger engine with the turbo. Second the sound that the hybrid makes like a droning noise, did not like that. The driving experience on my gas feels great compare to the hybrid version. Now I did not do a road test with the plug in, but from everything I have heard that is the one to get. At this moment don't have a house, so gas is the best option for me. But after we buy our house then i feel like the plug in is the way to go, especially with the bigger horse power. And yes I understand the save in gas of a hybrid but I'm spending big money on NX and I want to enjoy the drive. If i want to save money then I will go for Toyota and save a lot more on gas. (the 350h is for people who want to save money on their gas bill and 200hp is enough as they want luxury from A to B and don't need it to be fun). So that for me is not a factor, for me is the drive and the comfortable of a luxury product. And yes I get it Lexus luxury ain't what it used to be many years ago, but in 2024 it's better then a Toyota luxury. Example RAV 4 limited vs NX luxury, I prefer to spend more money on the NX for the luxury level in todays market of 2024. So Luxury with a good driving experience are it for me...and of course the reliability of Toyota/Lexus makes it all the better then any other brand for me.

Just bought a new car today at Car Max, and actually traded in my car that I previously bought from Car Max 2 years ago. I worked with Nick, who was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! I had talked to him yesterday while getting my car appraised and when we tried to set an appointment for me to come back to look at a car, we realized we worked almost the exact same hours. Nick so kindly offered to stay late so I could come at a time convenient to me. He did everything he could to make my experience as great as it could be, and he truly did an awesome job! He even ended up staying 3 hours after his shift was supposed to end, but he was so cheerful, you never would have known! Anyone looking for a car, definitely see Nick @ Car Max! Purchased a used 2018 with 35K miles in 2023. I now have 75K miles as it's a commuter car, about 90 miles a day. I average almost 41 mpg going from Pueblo to Colorado Springs and back. The CVT was a bit suspect when I first got it, but I think the driving has corrected the 3rd gear delay. The CVT is hands down better than my Altima. One year that car was gone, total junk.
