I went to Carmax on 4th of July. The place was not super packed, so that was great. We had a little 9th month old on tow, and were nervous that it would take us all day to shop. The only thing that took a lot of time was waiting for a sales man. Apparently, the new young guys at the front were more interested in flirting (yes flirting) with each other and playing around than realizing that we needed help or just plainly asking us if we were being helped. That really bothered me, as we wasted 30 mins just sitting dumb. The front desk girl was no help.. she was the one to tell us to sit and wait and then no where to be seen. Finally someone professional and extremely courteous walked by ... the service manager. He quickly apologized for our wait, and brought along Daniel Claudio. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOooooO thankful he did. Danny was professional, kind, humble, hard-working, and just all the way a pleasure to work with. He represented Carmax the way it should be. He took the details of what we were looking for and walked us around to cars that would fit our needs. The second car (nissan pathfinder) was a recommendation from him... and that was the car we bought. Danny if you're reading this... THANK YOU! Car is safety oriented. Has a VERY Steep learning curve, but once figured out very nice too drive, Manuals are lacking an interactive pdf, just a plain pdf. There are 4 manuals a lot to read. Car is long and wide so keep that in mind when taking turns. Most features can be customized under systems. I recommend sitting in car with manuals, and try out the features.

I must say today I purchased my daughter a car from cortex auto sales and was very pleased they was super helpful and with me and my husband driving from almost 3 hours to purchase from them made us feel so comfortable and I will shop with them again as well as I been spreading the word to all my family. Love the heated front seats. Do not like access to rear seats past seats at doors. Has great pick up. Drives thru anything. Quiet. Great sound system. Cools and Heats entire van. Large windshield must have sunscreen or summers heat blisters interior.. A/C works great

This is our second odyssey, love the can with all the safety features. We have had great reliability, and now have just under 100,000 miles (99683) and have had only minor issues. Normal wear items plus an injector problem repaired under warranty. A few recall items ( door handles, back up camera fuel pump) all taken care of under warranty Love this vehicle, love it and will buy another when they redesign it. Rides very well, has a ton of safety features, interior is very comfortable. Highly pleased.

Friendly but slow after I got home had to have a complete brake job it was not safe to drive they should check things like that. I let them know but they don't seem to care about safety,it should have been fixed before it was sold

I bought my CR-V at the Eco park, the process was very fast and efficient. And I'm fully satisfied with the car condition. But one day after buying the my car, a warning appeared because of low tire pressure. So it is the only disappointing part the entire buying process.

We purchased the 2014 sienna SE right off the show room floor. It’s very reliable. It sat a lot the first few years as we each hod our own cars. This was a wedding gift to each other. If it sits to long the battery drains easily. It’s comfortable and faster than some sports cars. lol 0-60 7.2 seconds. That’s muscle car territory from the 1960’s. Outside body integrity is only fair. We have 90,000 miles on it. It runs like new. It’s hard on brakes. Maybe it’s my driving style. It’s good in my opinion for 300.000 miles. The v-6 engine is one of Toyota’s best long running engines. Gas mileage on a road trip is 24-25 under 70 mph. In town 18-20.

Toyota Sienna is a nice vehicle to own and drive. Seats 8 people and we need every seat. Weekend trips summer driving vacations are a pleasure. Plenty of power smooth quiet ride and most of all dependable

Nice vehicle. We purchased new...price was one reason why compared to other vans. Our old vehicle was a Town & Country, this vehicle has some pleasant surprises. Better power and a better ride. Handling & response are very good, not clumsy like some vans. Great safety features throughout the vehicle. Things I don't like... the power rear side flare windows are gone and there isn't as much storage . In order to get better storage, you have to upgrade to higher end models. No overhead storage panel in some models. I certainly don't like the fact that there is no spare tire anymore but I know that the car industry is moving that way, which is just a cost saving measure for them. Door protection side strips have disappeared - they used to just be a standard item but now, are an "option", which is pretty lame. Roof pillars tend to cause more obstruction in my view as I'm driving but the Pacifica has alert safety features that are helpful. Information screen is pretty easy on Chrysler. Overall, its a nice vehicle.

We looked at all van brands before picking the Odyssey. We also test drove the Toyota and Kia vans. The main feature that sold us was the second row seating. With the middle section out the two outside captains seats can slide from side to side as well as forward and rearward. They are called Magic Seats and are great. We slide our grandkids to the middle in case of a side impact. We have had some recalls, but none of them caused use any problems before they were repaired. We would buy this van again now. We have had it since new and now 40 months and 36,500+ miles we are happy.

I purchased my van over 10.5 years ago and it had 14k on it. Its now has 167k miles and still working fine. Had to replace the trans, engine mounts (2 times), and a couple of other things - I think I have spent about $6.5k since I purchased it. But over all it has been a great family van. The backup camera has stopped working consistently and the front seats are waren but other than that it’s great. It’s now time to replace it as I’m having trouble getting it to pass its smog but overall it’s been a great car and would recommend - drives great

The Kia Carnival is very impressive. First is the exterior with its classy design. The lines are clean and the finish is beautiful and seems to be durable. The fit of the exterior is again clean and precise. Although this is in the MiniVan segment it does not have boring minivan looks. The interior is quite luxurious for a vehicle in this class. It is comfortable and seems like it will kast a long time. The 8 seater models are quite versatile as the rear row folds into the floor and the middle row is fairly easy to remove. This gives you massive cargo space that rivals a work van. Even with the seats in there is a ton of storage space. There is a 7 seat model that features captains chairs in the middle row. These cannot be easily removed. I think most people would prefer the 8 seat models for versatility. The dash is amazing with its modern design and features. The controls are well laid out and easy to operate. The SX level trim features 360 cameras with a top view. There are just so many incredible features this car has that really just need to be seen. I suggest looking at some FB groups for the Carnival as there is just too much to put in writing. The Carnival has a strong v6 that is smooth and also economical. I would say most folks will get slightly above EPA ratings. I was able to get 34.9 mpg of a recent trip but I did have to work at driving conservatively. Most folks should expect 26-29mpg. Slightly less in city or a lot of stop and go. Acceleration is strong and you can set the mode of driving from Sport, Normal, Smart and Eco. These adjust the handling and transmission. Obviously driving aggressively will cost you on gas consumption. I love my Carnival. I has a Ford F-150 Platinum and wanted something better on gas easier to transport goods. This gives me the comfort and space I wanted and was used to. It is easier to park as well. I looked at Toyota, Honda, and Chrysler. All of the competitors were significantly more expensive. The Toyota is a 4cyl Hybrid and I did not like its performance. The Honda seemed a bit dated and not as roomy. The Chrysler has reliability issues but it does have the folding middle row. I just could not see spending more for that feature and a car with poor reliability. The Carnival is actually fun to drive with strong performance comfort and features. It is also packed with safety features. If you want a family vehicle or a versatile comfortable vehicle for hauling the Carnival fits the bill. The other option is an SUV but these are typically bulky, have less room, and do not get great gas mileage. Honestly SUVs are overrated and not worth the extra money.
