This van met our needs. Specifically, we needed the larger back seats for older kids and adult riders. The back seat is a bit too tilted back. The middle row captains chairs are about the size of the main driver and passenger seats, and that's why we wanted the Routan. They are too big to fold into the floor, and that's just fine. We had an earlier Chrysler T&C, and those seats are flimsy. After 40K miles, no problems. We switched to our local Chrysler Dodge dealer for service, as the Volkswagen Dealer service was poor at best. We always hit around 28 MPG on road trips. About 17 -18 MPG in town. No complaints here.

My problem with this vehicle is the exterior paint. my van experience clear coat and paint damage from exposure to the sun, I spoke to an auto body persone who informed me of the issue of poor quality paint that did not have UA protection in it. This only occured to the surfaces exposed to direct sunlight.

The only negative is went to open passenger front door and the whole door handle came off. Will cost between $150.00 and &300.00 to get a new handle (plastic)put on. This is our second Sedona)

Overall I had a great experience while purchasing my vehicle today. I bought my 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan used in 2017. I’ve got 130,000 miles on it now and I’m still overall very pleased. This is my 4th Dodge/Chrysler minivan in the last 20+ years. I am kind of tired of driving a minivan but don’t know if I could give them up! This van has so many pros and very few cons. First, price is lower than other makes of minivans. Front and middle rows very comfortable on long trips. Good visibility from front and middle rows. I love that it has 2 separate glove boxes. Tons of cup holders! Adequate cargo area behind 3rd row seats. The stow and go feature is awesome. With second and third row seats folded down and hidden underneath the floor, you’ve got a huge open space to haul stuff. Almost like having a pickup truck except no one asks you to borrow it to move! Lol. It’s easy to get in and out of even if you have mobility problems. Drives and handles well. I don’t think we’ve ever had it in the shop. Never broken down on us. I’ve had this van since 2017 and no problems EVER until this summer. The radio quit working. We replaced it, and after a few weeks, the second one quit. Going to have it looked at soon. Also, the wipers have always worked poorly. Even after replacing them a few times with premium wipers, they still seem to “drag”, and are kind of “bumpy” is the only way I can describe it. My husband has to warn me before he turns them on, because they are so loud at first that they startle me very badly. Very irritating. When there’s a heavy rain they work fairly quietly and smoothly.

Well it fits all 7 members of my family. Has pretty good gas mileage. It is comfortable and doesn't take 3 years to get up to 35-40 miles per hour.

Good looking van,however, the rear electronic locks on both rear side doors failed within 4 months of each other and the Chrysler consumer center denied to pay the repair costs despite their recall letter saying they would consider reimbursement. Technicians taking the call were accusatory and discourteous. Repairs were $2200

it was nice joyable but 2008 is better and it has a spear tire and was very nice i rate it 8/10 that better then nothing.

My kids are so excited for all the space and how shiny and like new the car is. There are only 56000 mi. on the van and so we are happy that it will be a part of the family for many years to come!

Keith is pretty helpful with the process of buying a car. They’re pretty transparent and you can bring your mechanic and check out the car before leaving the lot.

The 3.3 liter V6 is under powered especially if you carry six passengers. Had to replace a catalytic converter at 132,000 miles code po420 bank 2. a disappointment. The engine is basically a Camry engine. Toyota should of put a larger displacement engine in this van.

Just purchased another used Grand Caravan, this is the sixth one over past number of years, found it to be a very reliable and versatile vehicle. Always managed to get 300,000 Klm on each one, never had any major issues other then brakes and normal maintanence . Just purchased 2015 and in excellent condition given the year but is in Limp mode with code P1745 showing on meter. Just hoping it's under a recall , sure would like to get mobile again.

Bought new for my wife in 2012. I am very particular in maintenance of all fluids & filters. 360,000 miles later and still runs like new. The most amazing thing is the “check engine” light has not even been on once. No leaks and uses no oil. Amazing vehicle!

The van is very dependable and it performs very good. Other than normal wear and maintenance, I’ve had no issues except a severe rust problem. The doors and other outer surfaces have bad rust. The frame is getting very bad with rust issues. If you can find a fairly rust free van and it’s well maintained, buy it. It’s a very dependable vehicle.

I scored my Sienna "excellent" based on the fact that, though this vehicle does not have the features of new vehicles, or the performance of newer bigger engines, it shows astronomical worth in functionality and comfort and for an older car, does not drive like an old car. My husband has taken care of regular service and we have never had anything major break that hasn't been due to regular wear and tear. We bought new (first year available) & have had for 17 years (210,000 miles) and it still runs like a clock. Starts in subzero weather, drives in snow, air conditioner works, seats & upholstery are in great shape and the Scotchguard on the fabric STILL works! This vehicle is an amazing example of the already incredible Toyota reliability and quality. There's a reason the design has changed little in 17 years (and I've never bothered to "upgrade.") I've loved every reliable year I've been able to trust this van to get us around safely and will actually miss moving on.

I got this car approximately 3 months ago from a close relative, and I can say there have absolutely been no issues that would make you regret your decision, (knock on wood). The car has never left me stranded, and has always started. When I first got the vehicle I got basic maintenance such as a synthetic oil change, oil filter, an engine filter, and an in-cabin air filter. After some time, the check-engine light appeared due to a thermostat. After one new installment of a thermostat, and some freshly topped coolant, there have been no other issues. I give the comfort rating a 5, due to the spacious interior, and captain-chair seats. I give the interior a 4 because while it may not have "everything" you want, it has everything you need (even coming from a base model). Performance is a 4, because it's not an M3. I give the value a 4 as well simply because of the fact that you can buy one as a consumer fairly priced, and you can sell one as a seller for a decent price. Exterior is a 3, due to the largeness of the vehicle. However, LED brake lights, and rear turn signals are standard, which is really nice. And lastly, other than basic maintenance, and one mishap, I give this car a 5 star rating for reliability.

We've owned several mini-vans , but this is by far the best , has been very reliable over the 7 years we've owned it. Nothing has broken or fallen off , and you can't beat the versatility. The stow and go seats let you convert the van to hauling mode in a matter of minutes. Gas mileage is about what you'd expect for a V6 heavy van , but it's worth it. Great for vacation/traveling hauling the family to grandma's house, etc. I recommend the CREW trim level and also the FLEX-FUEL V6 to save a few bucks when regular un-leaded get's pricey .
