Last November I drove my 2018 Outback Premium (which I loved) to the local dealer to test drive a 2025 Limited XT and get the complimentary $50 Visa card they were promoting at the time, and ended up driving back in the new XT. Following are my impressions after 10 months of ownership. We're big fans of Subaru's safety tech. My wife's car is a 2023 Forester, and the Reverse Automatic Braking has saved her from at least one accident. Her previous car was a 2021 Hyundai Tucson, and its reverse sensors seemed like they never worked. If safety is a priority, you won't find many manufacturers that beat Subaru (same for their all wheel drive system). The newer generation EyeSight system is superior to the 2018's. I would commonly turn off the Pre-Collision Braking on the 2018 (which was easy with the physical switch unlike the virtual switch accessible only through the head unit on the 2025) since I found it to be oversensitive when I was following someone making a right turn. The 2018 would prematurely brake which I feared could lead to being rear ended. My 2025 does not have the same issue, and while it has given me a blinking/beeping warning in the dash display in similar situations, it has not started actually braking like the 2018. For me, I have found I only get warnings from the car when my driving actually warrants it. The extra power of the 2.4L turbo (XT) was a big selling point, although I feel it's not mated to the CVT as well as the non-turbo 2.5L. There is noticeable throttle lag with the XT which you have to get used to, but man, it really moves after that momentary lag. I never found my 2018 non-turbo to be underpowered, but I definitely love the extra punch of the turbo. One of my biggest hesitancies with the 2025 was all the touchscreen buttons/menus of the head unit, but the joy of driving the car has softened my annoyance. Since I don't feel the need to shut off any safety features, I never have to look for them in the head unit menus. When I start the car, I only turn off the auto start/stop with the dedicated button at the bottom of the screen and wait the usual 20-30 seconds for the head unit to fully boot up giving the turbo/engine time to get lubricated before I put her into drive. I'm a big fan of wireless Android Auto and have found it to be very stable (and much better than the wireless dongles I tried with the 2018). I use the automatic climate control 99% of the time, so I don't miss the physical buttons and knobs in the dash (all I need are temperature up/down which ARE physical buttons). It's a great cruising vehicle with a great ride, and I look forward to packing the family inside for extended road trips. I'm happy we have the last year of the "wagon" generation of Outbacks and plan to keep it for many enjoyable miles.

I really liked my LTZ. I will admit that I had some issues, but I took care of it. The only mistake I made was not putting a Remanufactured engine in it after it had a head gasket repair. I drove it hard. Even with the issues I had. I would buy it again. I would get an Endurance Extended warranty. I had no issues with the transmission. I did have two window motors go out though. I had 188K miles on it. The reason I go rid of it was. I had an oil smell in it even after I had it repaired and the mechanic could not find it.

Karl made scheduling my service appointment for my side-view mirror easy. He listened to my concerns and found a time that worked best for me to get my vehicle to the shop to be inspected. Before contacting me with the repair details, Karl connected with the shop to obtain an anticipated date for when the part could be ordered and delivered, along with the pricing, allowing me to plan accordingly. He went above and beyond to ensure I knew Wray Ford was using quality parts and nothing that would be considered after-market. When I arrived at the Service Department, Karl was waiting on the sidewalk to greet and check in customers coming with their vehicles. Although I had visited the shop previously, Karl ensured I knew where to go after checking in my vehicle. He also remembered when I planned to arrive and told me he had already scheduled my trip home. He said Curtis Luce would be driving me home. After walking through the Service Department door, Amanda Stone was behind the counter, greeting everyone with a huge smile, gracious attitude, and a warm welcome. It was not my first trip to Wray Ford, yet Amanda always makes everyone walking through the door feel part of the Wray Ford Family. The atmosphere is welcoming, the TV is on, and refreshments are available. She doesn't just sit behind the counter and stare; she engages with you. She exhibits the same attitude when you call the service department. I have never noticed if she's having a down day during my visits because she happily makes you and those around her her focus. Shortly after taking a seat, Karl opened the door to tell me Curtis was ready to drive me home. The wait was less than five minutes, which was great. Once the shuttle vehicle door opened, Curtis greeted me with a smile and a wonderful personality. He had taken time to warm the vehicle before picking me up since it was cold that morning. He asked if there was a particular radio station I wanted to listen to and alerted me to my ETA. During our drive, we exchanged pleasant conversations. It felt like I was riding with a friend. I felt extremely comfortable. Plus, he drove very cautiously. He also bragged about how much he enjoys working at Wray Ford alongside his teammates, which supported my opinions about Karl and Amanda. When we arrived at my house, Curtis said he would likely see me again once my vehicle was ready because he would drive over in a separate vehicle to pick up Mr. Reggie after he returned my car. Once my car was ready, I received a call from Karl and an emailed copy of my invoice so I could review the breakdown before submitting my payment. Afterward, Karl said I would receive a phone call about the scheduled delivery of my vehicle. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from Mr. Reggie. He was delightful and pleased to assist me with the return of my car. It was not my first time dealing with Mr. Reggie. He was just as nice the very first time I met him. When he arrived, we exchanged nice pleasantries and laughter about the day. I cannot say it enough. Overall my Pearlita has been beyond reliabe, comfy, Greatbon gas and roomy However hit 65k and worries began. Replaced gasket, recommended spark plugs begore my 100 k mark.. Def recommend warranty. Lodi Honda took care of me!

Bought used. Did some research on it found out problems with AFM. I installed a tuner and did AFM delete and got rid of the top speed limiter, also set other perimeters to high performance, cold air intake, got rid of vacuum pump for braking and went to intake vacuum for booster did tranny thermostat bypass. also changed intake from 5.3 to 6.2 and changed throttle body. Installed catch can for oil blow by. Installed a throttle control booster, change oil every 3000 miles has 125056 miles got rid of all3 cats and has headers and dual straight pipes. sounds great. hptuners got check engine light off. I have street raced this against Camaros mustangs ect and tear them up. tranny has no issues nor do valves. Have buried the Speedo several times max speed was 152mph going by speedo on tuner display. In a truck ride was smooth handles great. I dog the xxxx out of it and it just takes it. I invite others to race. tag says RUN YOU.

It's the very last body on frame bullet proof SUV. It's built like a tank is great for all types of driving situations and here in Illinois where the roads are almost as terrible as it's governor it needs to be ready to drive over potholes the size of Pritzkers rear end and handle it. I've had no problems and plan on holding onto it especially now that Toyota has taken a turn for the worse with garbage 4 cylinder turbos.

When I was living in Bossier, I got a car from Milam Kars a few years back and have been totally happy with it. It runs well in spite of the abuse I give it. Tom Milam is very knowledgeable about cars and I go to him often for help when my wife abuses her car too even though she got hers from out of state! (She has scraped the side of our garage twice so far.) My brother has a car from Milam Kars, my sister has one and I believe one of her sons has a car from there. For me, I would go nowhere else once I am ready for my next car... maybe in a few more years yet.

For the price, I couldn't have made a better choice. This car has ventilated and heated seats, and all the bells and whistles available at that time. Had I purchased one of its competitors, I would have paid much more for what this car has. It has been a reliable vehicle as I have had all regular maintenance completed. I have only had to replace tires, battery, and take in for one or two recalls over the years. I'm passing it on to my graduate that's how safe I believe he will be.
