Like a lot of boomers, we considered a bike for those weekend getaways.......but then we discovered the Prowler. All of the fun of a bike, BUT, you can put the top up if needed, you have air and heat, you can carry on a conversation, and either of us can enjoy it without the 'other'. It is to old hot rods what the Miatta was to English Sports Cars...a reliable alternative!

The writer is truly wrong. I’ve owned one for a few years and just drove 600 miles with the top up no problem. Like driving a space capsule. Visibility is actually better than most cars. With the top down it’s amazing.

This car is so much fun to own. It's reliable comfortable and fun to drive. The trunk is quite small, however it will support 2 clothes bags and a toiletry case. It holds just enough to go away for several nights and not feel like you've left something home. I have to admit it's most fun driving with the top down and the stereo up. These cars are only becoming more valuable as time goes on. I can't think of any other car that you can say that about today.

Had to replace faulty tire pressure sensor. Done while I waited, in less than an hour. BK was an excellent service advisor and got immediate extended warranty approval.

Before I purchased this car I read several reviews and watched a few you tube videos on the car. This car rides incredible and I purchased this vehicle with 30,000 miles on it. Considering the technology for 1999 this car rides and handles incredibly. The stereo for 1999 is what it is. The car wasn't my first or second choice but now that I bought it I am glad I did. This vehicle for 2880 lbs. and 1999 being first year of the horsepower increase. This vehicle has had a few upgrade as far as exhaust, pulleys and air intake adds. If you aren't old enough to have seen one when they first came out then you wouldn't know what the car is when you do see it. I appreciate it every time I stop somewhere it draws a crowd.

We are usually apprehensive about dealing with the used car sector. However, I stumbled onto The Motor Collection by accident doing a late night search for a pre owned truck. My wife and I took the trip to this car dealership after making an appointment. We met with Mark upon arrival, who was very friendly. He had the truck waiting for us to look at inside his shop. I asked if I could check the truck out. Mark stated "That's why you are here" I was allowed to change my clothes, he even gave me a creaper so I could roll under and check the frame and whatever else I wanted. My wife also checked out the interior. We really liked the truck so we took a short ride. When we returned we informed Mark there were a couple of issues that needed attention. This was supposed to be an "as is vehicle" however Mark did step up and made the necessary repairs without hesitation. We returned a few days later to pick up the truck and everything was done as promised. To make a long story short we are thrilled with The Motor Collection, Mark, and the truck. Old Hot Rod styling that you could drive everyday. The only con is it?s hard to get in and out with the convertible top up if your a larger guy. Great looks at an effordable price.... they have held their value for the last 10 years at around $30k for low mileage car

I'm floored by the bad reviews of Discovery Auto. I almost didn't go because of it. However, I had my heart set on a Cadillac they had. I live in Clearwater so its about a 45 minute drive. I called the sales line and got Maurice. I told him exactly what I wanted. He desperately tried to get me the deal. However I know that dealership was telling the truth about that car because I had been looking at that model for 2 months. They did have the best price hence why I drove out. Unfortunately I couldn't talk them down but the manager Jonah came out to tell me why. I didn't feel like he was lying because I have Google and verified literally everything he said. So I moved down a notch to accommodate my budget comfortably. And I LOVE my new Camaro. I also want to say that the dealership has cars that will blow you away. Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz audis, bmws, literally every high-end car you can think of and they are clean- clean. But back to the bad reviews. I saw one review that a lady was upset she only got one key. I only got one key to my car. So I asked my salesman where's the other key? And his response was we can't control what the previous owner brings in. Which absolutely makes sense. My previous owner also didn't bring in the owner's manual. But I can't fault the dealership for something like that. I also saw a review that somebody gave him a one-star because they didn't get approved. That is not the dealerships fault. I'm not saying that they didn't feel slighted. But I HATE being lied to. So with that being said... go check it out for yourself. Ask for Maurice.

My 1997 Prowler has many upgrades, including a custom, real paint job, obviously Purple, but with custom white accents and/or white streamers I have under 40,000 miles, and a steel "plate" beneath the "nose" of the Prowler to stop scratching under the nose. I also have the travel "baggage rack" Lots of extra chrome around the car, and Waay to much to list.

This car has very cool classic looks, yet the modern mechanical technologies for safe, convenient, and comfortable driving. Engine, drive train, and all mechanical is original and in 100% perfect working order. This car has been driven only 500 miles per year to local car shows. Other than that, it is kept in storage and maintained in perfect working order and show ready.

Beautiful car, fun to drive and definitely made people look since you don't see many of them around. It was fun to cruise in. Nice car if you want something that not everyone has!
