I bought my 1991 firebird last summer. I only had to fix the alternator when i bought it but i have not had any troubles after that day. The car itself is so low to the ground it allows for fun driving, and can handle sharp turns. has great torque and horse power to start with i have had no need to tweek any thing. I would like to say this car is fine for getting around form work or driving people around, but if you are looking for a car with a kick and that you can have fun with this is the car.I personally feel at home driving though a local car town and it fits in with the older classics. with the bright red paint job. overall best car i have seen all around. but from being in Minnesota the car struggles in winter without winter tires.

I had a 97 formula T-Top with the LT1, the stock mufflerwasn't all that but the Flowmaster was a compliment to the 5.7L 350 cubic inch V8.it road comfortably from the driver seat but the back seats you either had your knees up in your face or the front passenger seat all in your grill. You are driving one of the elite machines setting in the Pontiac cockpit. I enjoyed just starting that car the rumble and the roar when it fired and the humble rumble while crusin along and 70mph was it's sweet spot their wasn't a curve it couldn't handle at 70 just let off the gas and it would glide steady and that my friend is a different perspective of comfortable. I got several careless but doing 105 in a 50 got me a wreckless driving. But it's been nearly 30yrs and I still dream about that car I hope to get another one someday

Loved my firebirds . I bought a new 1994 and a 1999 . V6 but awesome power it’s a Pontiac I replaced window motors , antenna motor, alternator, rotar,flip light motor ,oil gastric seals , I sold it and regretted it , but I figured I was grown up in my late 30’s but boy am I looking for the last one made miss my car , fun to drive and it got so many compliments black no tee tops no ram hood but beautiful I’ve noticed people haven’t taken care of theirs in the used one’s I’m looking for , how sad wish Pontiac would make them again beautiful styling cars , it had 210,000. Miles and was going strong

I've always been a Pontiac conisur. In '77 I got a 69. Absolutely amazing. In 2003 I got a 91. Now I have a '95 and it is tops. Named her SAM for Surface to Air Missle. Yes I am retired Army. This car is great, its comfortable, fast, and the V8 Can get up and go. However, compared to more modern cars, the Poniac 2006 GXP V8 shows its age, My car cant accelerate as quickly as more modern cars. But its still a solid car. The most major issue with the GXP is the tires and suspension. This car is apparantly designed to drive on Perfectly Smooth roads. Which is great if you live in a Gated Community somehwere houses are $500,000 each and everybody is perfectly blonde. However, I prefer more 'All-Terrain' vehicles compared to 'high-preformance but extremely delicate.' I'll compare the 2 cars I've owned: Jeep 1996 Grand Cherokoo Laredo Extremely Tough, can go anywhere, I can drive over curbs easily. Poniac 2006 Is more like Princess and the Pea. If I hit a Gravel Rock, the whole car will feel it. The Jeep, can go anywhere on Earth basically. The Poniac, Hit a Curb? Need a New Rim, the whole cars missaligned and tires need rebalanced, and now the Tires going flat. Hit a pothole in the Jeep, no problem, keep driving. In the Poniac, Now everything needs re-alligned, rim is damaged, etc. Just as an example. ^ The Poniac is reliable, its just extremely sensitive and needs perfect roads. The Jeep is all-terrain, durable, and strong. I'd drive my Jeep anyday if I could. Considered I got my Jeep for $5k, then put $5k in upgrades/repairs, Id get it again anyday. The Poniac was $32k new, and is just extremely sensative.

97 Trans Am with LT1. Incredibly cool and smooth cruiser, monster sprinter and all round fun as xxxx to drive. Fuel economy surprisingly good by todays standards. Engine rated at 285HP but seems to be at least 300. Super comfy in the front, even on long haul journeys. Horrible in the back! Interior looks fine but is cheaply built, plastic interior comes loose all over the place. Rain gets in the car as well, windows don’t close properly. I also had issues with window motors… Handles very nicely and carves the curves. Wonderful voice :) Great heating and ac. Terrible windshield, glares and reflects like xxxx. Got mine second hand in top notch condition for 7000, so a xxxx fine deal

I traded in 2 Saturns for a black 2008 Grand Prix GXP with 62,300 miles. I've gone though it with new coils, wires, plugs, wipers, filters, some fluids changed and a new set of tires. Even replaced the headlight lenses and tail lights with new custom modern LEDs. Also added a performance chip and a Turbomag kit. I have a few other repairs I still have to do (like A/C, it works but leaks), but I love this car already and I am just getting started. Not good for full burn outs, though it has the power. Instead, you just launch! Your head hits the head rest and it feels like your eye xxxxx are bouncing off the back of your skull. I love it. Stock with the LS4 5.3L they are 303 hp, I think I'm getting around 380 something out of it. It's my baby, even though I am more of a classic car fan. They can bury me in it when I die. :o)

This car is fun to drive. It's fast with a good V8 sound. It has very good street manners. Good ride in the rough but will hug a corner like a vette.

These Pontiacs with the 3.8 engine are solid as a rock and make a good used car Buy. I owned the Pontiac GT it's simply was a great trouble free car. And all of these Pontiacs are fun to drive.

bought used with 128xxx. 6 years later still wouldn't sell. I have yet to get into a situation that I wasn't able to maneuver it out of easily. taken it through spots that trucks couldn't (driver experience and ability). for the last year it has served as one of the best work trucks I've ever been around. I know on more than a few times that it was definitely overloaded I'm talking about the rear fender being about 1/2 Inch from the tire, and she hasn't disappointed me yet or let me down. only reason why I didn't give 5 stars all the way across the board, is that horrible evil things called governors at 108mph. it's now over 21 years old and 180xxxish miles. only thing I have upgraded is the air intake and filter. (BEFORE) if you floor in from a dead stop it would shift into 2ND gear at 45MPH (AFTER) 50MPH. (BEFORE) from 2nd to 3rd a 90MPH, (AFTER) AROUND 100MPH
