About two weeks, I was in need of another used pre-owned vehicle. I like Fords. So I stopped in at Ford of Homewood on a Saturday. I was met by a very nice and knowledgeable sales representative named Juan. I discussed my needs, wants,and financial limits with him. After looking at several vehicles, we found a vehicle that met my needs and price. Paperwork was drawn up down payment made and that evening I was the new owner of a great 2015 Ford Escape. My 2008 G8GT has 185K on it and it still drives and handles like a new car. I have changed the brakes to slotted and change the oil myself every 3-4k miles. Front seats are not that comfortable for long trips and is my only minor complaint. I will keep the car as long as I can because there is nothing like the power being offered in a four door by an American Car Company.

I've always been a Pontiac conisur. In '77 I got a 69. Absolutely amazing. In 2003 I got a 91. Now I have a '95 and it is tops. Named her SAM for Surface to Air Missle. Yes I am retired Army. I recently purchased A 2018 Alpina B7 from Ray at Motor Cars Of Chicago. When I purchased the car I made it clear to Ray that I was going to be in need of the title in ASAP fashion – Ray said I’d have the title within two weeks and boy did I just like he said he fulfilled the promise he made no questions asked. Also on the way home after taking delivery, I had a very minor problem that turned out to be a bad battery. Ray was unaware of when we took delivery of the car – Ray didn’t hesitate he reimbursed me for the batteries I had to have installed at the BMW dealer by the BMW dealer. He said the car was flawless and he stood behind that statement. Ray is very straightforward and no xx perhaps not full of warm fuzzies for everyone but a great way to do business, especially in the luxury and highline car business. I find Ray to be honorable direct and stand up and we’ll do business with him again if I had any reservations about doing business with them before this transaction, they are all completely gone and yours should be too. Purchased new September of 2009 now has 162K miles and i will never sell this car it has and is perfect. Best car I have ever owned and my first car was bought in 1967. Just a little info., the air condition system has never been serviced and you could hang meat in it on 100 degree day. It's on it's second battery does not use any oil between services. Original water pump. Not a tick under hood and as of two months ago will still do 164mph. No mods what so ever. And for looks minds Red w/two tone red/black interior simply beautiful

2002 was the end of the line for performance cars at Pontiac. The Firebird and Trans Am were iconic muscle cars that helped define the genre. I was lucky in finding 1 of 2000 Collector Edition models with super low miles. The car runs strong, handles well, and still looks great 19 years later. The interior is dated but nobody buys a Trans Am for the interior. It is still fast and fun to drive. Getting a 4th generation Firebird is more economical then buying a project and restoring/modifying it to meet modern standards. This car is for serious drivers to are tired of the current run of the mill cookie-cutter tin can cars today, and it is half the price of current muscle car remnants, it can still keep up with most of them too!

I have always wanted one. Now that I have it I am not disappointed. Pontiac knows how to make excitement. The Red leather in my car is just beautiful and the seats are the best ever. Performance is off the chain with this thing, stomp the pedal and the thing almost jumps off the road. It will be a keeper!

First time i actually had a good experience at a dealership. I bought our last cars at two different kia dealers before and about blew my top and probably should have walked out. We got my wife a new elantra at Darcy and we got a reasonable trade in offer and the new car at a reasonable price and got a good loan. Jimmy was cool kept things relaxed. If i replace my car at some point I’ll probably come here. Only complaint was the detail the must have used a dirty or rough cloth hood may need a little buff.

My 2007 Pontiac Solstice GXP currently is a reliable little sports car with lots of kick in terms of performance, especially considering it’s amazing turbo charger. 260 hp isn’t to bad either. Styling is ever eye catching with its 18 inch tires. It sits low outwardly as well as inwardly as a sports car should. Maintaining its regular maintenance and fluids will provide consistent quality performance. It's fast when you need it to be. The ride is comfortable, and steering is excellent for where you pint it, it will go there with no push back or fuss. Gas relies on premium which is acceptable for quality performance, but there is the base model which takes regular gas if your wallet seeks relief. Its colors are limited, but I suggest a car wrap for uniqueness individuality. Overall, the Solstice is a fun responsive sports car that you can find within your budget and after purchasing it, you can get reasonable affordable auto insurance coverage, especially if your are a Boomer with no tickets or accidents. These cars are approaching rare for you don’t see many on the roads and highways these days. Drop the top on a relatively good weather day and all eyes will be on you!!! MVB

16 year old car; I didn't put a ton of miles on it, had the remote start. I live this car and still drive it. I'm tall and needed to be able to sit comfortably and upright (have spinal stenosis). Loved the remote start so much. It's my zip zip around car. Longer wheelbase made it a little harder to park in those tiny parking spaces at strip malls. Enjoyed immensely taking this car in day trips and weekend get aways. Fam still borrow it for trips. So much room for the passengers, never complaints from passengers. Lots of room to pack what you need. I've had to replace a wheel bearing. The paint is chopping off now {it sits outside in all weather}. The chrome plated wheels started peeling fairly early on but didn't bother me much. They do now have to be sanded when getting new tires to ensure proper seal (they do that at the tire installation shop) otherwise you have a slow leak. I now have to manually turn off the blinkers, but cld pay to have that fixed, just haven't. Speakers still make me happy. I can plug in a phone and listen to my music, but of course too old for a screen or other conveniences. I love my torrent will be sad when it it done and gone.

Overall, the experience was very good. We purchased the car from Mo, a polite, soft spoken man that gave us zero pressure during the entire sales process. His communication was excellent throughout the process. The car needs a bit of work, but it was listed at a great price. He offered an optional extended powertrain warranty, and fixed a worn-out serpentine belt when a local mechanic pointed it out during a pre-sale inspection. Thanks!

Recently purchased a Pontiac Torrent 2008. The purchase price was $2900 and was worth every penny. It is an AWD as well. There are some minor issues that need attention at some point. It runs fantastic. Plenty of power and very comfortable. I am an Aztek fan as well. I own a 2005 and have had the same experience with this car. Would definitively recommend either of these cars. Pontiac made superior automobiles, in my humble opinion.

If you have kids but still want to take pride in your ride, the G8 GT is a great choice. Mine is over 10 years old and still turns heads and is just a blast to drive. But even more important, it has a massive trunk and rear seat so I was able to fit three car seats across the back and pack the trunk full for a full vacation. The best part is that this car has never left me stranded anywhere, after putting 100,000 miles on it.

I have owned my GTO for about 17 years. The car is true to the name and is a great grand touring car. I have driven it all over the country. It is about to cross the 250,000 mile mark. No real major issues. It is rough, but still going just fine. I plan on rebuilding it.

(owner of three 06/07 g6 GT/GTPs convertibles) Wonderful, sporty look. Design is great with minimal flaws such as cover that opens when top comes down malfunctioning or air vents coming out. Seats look great but sit in this car longer then two hours you'll wish you weren't. Every car I've seen has a rip in driver seat, you'll know what I mean if you own one most likely. Engine and transmission are strong and reliable with little maintenance needed. Things like CV joints, ball joints, sway bars, etc you'll need to replace often along with many electrical details and oil/tranny leaks. All around amazing, going on five years with my first one from 132k miles to 203k miles it runs just as it did the day I bought it.

I purchased a used car a 2017 Toyota Corolla for my daughter for a very good price. They have great reasonable prices.

I traded in 2 Saturns for a black 2008 Grand Prix GXP with 62,300 miles. I've gone though it with new coils, wires, plugs, wipers, filters, some fluids changed and a new set of tires. Even replaced the headlight lenses and tail lights with new custom modern LEDs. Also added a performance chip and a Turbomag kit. I have a few other repairs I still have to do (like A/C, it works but leaks), but I love this car already and I am just getting started. Not good for full burn outs, though it has the power. Instead, you just launch! Your head hits the head rest and it feels like your eye xxxxx are bouncing off the back of your skull. I love it. Stock with the LS4 5.3L they are 303 hp, I think I'm getting around 380 something out of it. It's my baby, even though I am more of a classic car fan. They can bury me in it when I die. :o)

I absolutely love my Solstice GXP. It's got all the pep you could ever want,it handles & corners like it's on rails! I laugh everytime I see & easily pass Miata's,what a joke they are. I see people complaining about no storage space with these cars! Yes a little more space would be nice but that's what my truck is for. I go every 2 weeks & get groceries & supplies & I spend between $250-$400 and i can get it all in the car. And there are big items in there like 2 cases of pop,a big pail of Cat litter (the 35 lb. pail) and lots of other items. 12 rolls of paper towels, I do use the passenger & floor too but I can get it all in there. I also see people complain about cup holders,and somewhere to put change. The guy in Delaware. There are pockets on the front of both seats,rear of them too. Also the cup holder on the passenger side of console by their left knee,as well as the 2 behind your right elbow. If it bothers you that much buy the aftermarket cup holder for these cars! I'm 6 ft tall & don't have any sight problems he complained about,my Solstice has a power seat button that raises & lowers the drivers seat (only) not forward & back. The button is between your knees more on the left side. I had my car for almost 3 yrs before I discovered this. LOL I took the seat out to install some wiring for the interior lighting I put in,that's when I saw it. The only thing I can complain about is the location of the power window buttons. When I rest my right arm I accidentally hit the buttons and the windows go down. But that's not a big deal. Besides this winter when I put the car away I'm going to relocate them to the center console behind the shifter,because I can! The stereo system is quite impressive for a factory unit. I've had several thousand dollar Alpine,Nakamichi,ADS,Eclipse,Denon systems in my cars thru the years & this is comparable. Could use another subwoofer,to really get the bass i want. But it rocks! My brother always says I can't believe that's a factory system!!!. I love my Solstice. Everywhere I go i get asked what kind of car it is,how fast it is,and they love the color,Mean Yellow! I get alot of looks,especially when I get out of it because this spring i installed the Lamborghini door kit. So people really freak out when they see that. I think for giggles I'm going to buy either Lamborghini or Ferrari emblems to put on it. LOL I did tgat on a Dodge Neon i had years ago, i put Chevy emblems on it. When i traded it in the salespeople laughed hard when they saw it. I bought it in August of 2018 with 13,000 miles,I've got 36,000 on it now & haven't had a single problem. None!!!!

Bought this car at a junk auction. It was in poor shape but I knew that going into it. It was a jewel of a find 06 gtp. It's my fun summer's only, occasional driver. I gutted all the seats and replaced them with leather as well as fixed the interior. Car had lots of mechanical issues as well but the engine was and still is strong. Its a fun car to buy and take under your wing as a collectors, project car. Lots of cheap parts in the junk yards now. I would not recommend this car for a daily driver unless you plan on spending a lot of money fixing stuff. The cars are old.
