I had a 97 formula T-Top with the LT1, the stock mufflerwasn't all that but the Flowmaster was a compliment to the 5.7L 350 cubic inch V8.it road comfortably from the driver seat but the back seats you either had your knees up in your face or the front passenger seat all in your grill. You are driving one of the elite machines setting in the Pontiac cockpit. I enjoyed just starting that car the rumble and the roar when it fired and the humble rumble while crusin along and 70mph was it's sweet spot their wasn't a curve it couldn't handle at 70 just let off the gas and it would glide steady and that my friend is a different perspective of comfortable. I got several careless but doing 105 in a 50 got me a wreckless driving. But it's been nearly 30yrs and I still dream about that car I hope to get another one someday

I absolutely love my Solstice GXP. It's got all the pep you could ever want,it handles & corners like it's on rails! I laugh everytime I see & easily pass Miata's,what a joke they are. I see people complaining about no storage space with these cars! Yes a little more space would be nice but that's what my truck is for. I go every 2 weeks & get groceries & supplies & I spend between $250-$400 and i can get it all in the car. And there are big items in there like 2 cases of pop,a big pail of Cat litter (the 35 lb. pail) and lots of other items. 12 rolls of paper towels, I do use the passenger & floor too but I can get it all in there. I also see people complain about cup holders,and somewhere to put change. The guy in Delaware. There are pockets on the front of both seats,rear of them too. Also the cup holder on the passenger side of console by their left knee,as well as the 2 behind your right elbow. If it bothers you that much buy the aftermarket cup holder for these cars! I'm 6 ft tall & don't have any sight problems he complained about,my Solstice has a power seat button that raises & lowers the drivers seat (only) not forward & back. The button is between your knees more on the left side. I had my car for almost 3 yrs before I discovered this. LOL I took the seat out to install some wiring for the interior lighting I put in,that's when I saw it. The only thing I can complain about is the location of the power window buttons. When I rest my right arm I accidentally hit the buttons and the windows go down. But that's not a big deal. Besides this winter when I put the car away I'm going to relocate them to the center console behind the shifter,because I can! The stereo system is quite impressive for a factory unit. I've had several thousand dollar Alpine,Nakamichi,ADS,Eclipse,Denon systems in my cars thru the years & this is comparable. Could use another subwoofer,to really get the bass i want. But it rocks! My brother always says I can't believe that's a factory system!!!. I love my Solstice. Everywhere I go i get asked what kind of car it is,how fast it is,and they love the color,Mean Yellow! I get alot of looks,especially when I get out of it because this spring i installed the Lamborghini door kit. So people really freak out when they see that. I think for giggles I'm going to buy either Lamborghini or Ferrari emblems to put on it. LOL I did tgat on a Dodge Neon i had years ago, i put Chevy emblems on it. When i traded it in the salespeople laughed hard when they saw it. I bought it in August of 2018 with 13,000 miles,I've got 36,000 on it now & haven't had a single problem. None!!!!

2002 was the end of the line for performance cars at Pontiac. The Firebird and Trans Am were iconic muscle cars that helped define the genre. I was lucky in finding 1 of 2000 Collector Edition models with super low miles. The car runs strong, handles well, and still looks great 19 years later. The interior is dated but nobody buys a Trans Am for the interior. It is still fast and fun to drive. Getting a 4th generation Firebird is more economical then buying a project and restoring/modifying it to meet modern standards. This car is for serious drivers to are tired of the current run of the mill cookie-cutter tin can cars today, and it is half the price of current muscle car remnants, it can still keep up with most of them too!

(owner of three 06/07 g6 GT/GTPs convertibles) Wonderful, sporty look. Design is great with minimal flaws such as cover that opens when top comes down malfunctioning or air vents coming out. Seats look great but sit in this car longer then two hours you'll wish you weren't. Every car I've seen has a rip in driver seat, you'll know what I mean if you own one most likely. Engine and transmission are strong and reliable with little maintenance needed. Things like CV joints, ball joints, sway bars, etc you'll need to replace often along with many electrical details and oil/tranny leaks. All around amazing, going on five years with my first one from 132k miles to 203k miles it runs just as it did the day I bought it.

The 9786133 WS motor was fitted with a new complete Stroker Rotating assembly from Butler Performance with dished Forged Piston to provide 9.75:1 compression with the 72cc #670 cylinder heads fitted with a COMP Ram Air IV Cam, Scorpion Raving 1052 Roller Rocker Arms, 4 barrel Quadra-Jet with a RAM AIR configuration sitting on top of the original 9786286 intake manifold with Power Coated HO D Port Exhaust Manifolds in place for connection to the new 2.5” PYPES no X- pipe SS exhaust system, running on pump gas 92-93 octane.

I gave them 2 days notice that I would be there at around noon, I got there at 2:30 pm. The man who helped me was very nice; unfortunately they had sold the car I was interested in earlier that morning.

Own and driven the 1992 EU build black color T-Top v6 from late 90's to 2003. If I could I still will drive it but I moved after 03 from Germany to Thailand and the car was standing all the time till 2010 without moving it. They are rare in Europe to get especially the last models from 1998 to 2002. With luck I get maybe once for a normal second hand price and not a collectors price one again, no matter v6 or v8 just the last model made till 2002. I saw prices today for v6 99' convertible by 12.800 EUR and a lot more for v8 engine WS6 starting at 16.000 EUR.

The vehicle has been in my family for 20 years. Past down from father to now daughter (myself). I am now over 50 yrs old and would like a luxury vehicle and have had many years of t-tops off with the wind blowing with my friends going to softball games, etc. it's now time to hand it off to a younger girl/guy who could enjoy like I did. :)

Loved my firebirds . I bought a new 1994 and a 1999 . V6 but awesome power it’s a Pontiac I replaced window motors , antenna motor, alternator, rotar,flip light motor ,oil gastric seals , I sold it and regretted it , but I figured I was grown up in my late 30’s but boy am I looking for the last one made miss my car , fun to drive and it got so many compliments black no tee tops no ram hood but beautiful I’ve noticed people haven’t taken care of theirs in the used one’s I’m looking for , how sad wish Pontiac would make them again beautiful styling cars , it had 210,000. Miles and was going strong

I owned one from 2007 until 2023. Probably the best car I ever had. I traded it in on a Corolla Cross, but if I could find a factory fres 2007 Vibe, I' d buy it. The only oddity was thst I had to replace two bad water pumps, and serpentine belt. The new Corolla has too much infotainment gadgetry, and a poorly written manual by comparion.

Purchased a car from Regis at Illinois Motors in Cary. Car was purchased from out of state . He made the whole process seamless. I've always been a Pontiac conisur. In '77 I got a 69. Absolutely amazing. In 2003 I got a 91. Now I have a '95 and it is tops. Named her SAM for Surface to Air Missle. Yes I am retired Army. I bought my 1991 firebird last summer. I only had to fix the alternator when i bought it but i have not had any troubles after that day. The car itself is so low to the ground it allows for fun driving, and can handle sharp turns. has great torque and horse power to start with i have had no need to tweek any thing. I would like to say this car is fine for getting around form work or driving people around, but if you are looking for a car with a kick and that you can have fun with this is the car.I personally feel at home driving though a local car town and it fits in with the older classics. with the bright red paint job. overall best car i have seen all around. but from being in Minnesota the car struggles in winter without winter tires.

I have always wanted one. Now that I have it I am not disappointed. Pontiac knows how to make excitement. The Red leather in my car is just beautiful and the seats are the best ever. Performance is off the chain with this thing, stomp the pedal and the thing almost jumps off the road. It will be a keeper!

After sending the email, via cars.com, I got a text back within a few minutes saying the SUV was available and a salesperson would check with me to set up an appointment. 16 year old car; I didn't put a ton of miles on it, had the remote start. I live this car and still drive it. I'm tall and needed to be able to sit comfortably and upright (have spinal stenosis). Loved the remote start so much. It's my zip zip around car. Longer wheelbase made it a little harder to park in those tiny parking spaces at strip malls. Enjoyed immensely taking this car in day trips and weekend get aways. Fam still borrow it for trips. So much room for the passengers, never complaints from passengers. Lots of room to pack what you need. I've had to replace a wheel bearing. The paint is chopping off now {it sits outside in all weather}. The chrome plated wheels started peeling fairly early on but didn't bother me much. They do now have to be sanded when getting new tires to ensure proper seal (they do that at the tire installation shop) otherwise you have a slow leak. I now have to manually turn off the blinkers, but cld pay to have that fixed, just haven't. Speakers still make me happy. I can plug in a phone and listen to my music, but of course too old for a screen or other conveniences. I love my torrent will be sad when it it done and gone.
