Bought this car at a junk auction. It was in poor shape but I knew that going into it. It was a jewel of a find 06 gtp. It's my fun summer's only, occasional driver. I gutted all the seats and replaced them with leather as well as fixed the interior. Car had lots of mechanical issues as well but the engine was and still is strong. Its a fun car to buy and take under your wing as a collectors, project car. Lots of cheap parts in the junk yards now. I would not recommend this car for a daily driver unless you plan on spending a lot of money fixing stuff. The cars are old.

I recently bought a Ram pickup at Frankman and two days later had an issue arise . You always wonder how you be treated in such a situation. Well , it was a great experience, they took care of the problem and did it in the friendliest of manner. I will definitely be back and would recommend Frankman for buying a vehicle. I’m a junior in High School. I got the g8 v6 as a car to get to school with, have some fun in the parking lot, and impress the girls. So far it’s functioned well for the first two. Would recommend.

I have an 06 4 door GTP, comes with an amazing SUPERCHARGED 3.9L, looks sporty and even muscle car ish (besides the front headlights I just replaced them with halos because the stocks looked a bit buggy), the GTP rims look better than Camaro SS rims in my opinion, performs perfectly and amazingly,great gas mileage, fire hot heat, ice cold AC, I love racing people on the street in this car because I leave 90% of them in the dirt as soon as I takeoff, many compliments on the looks and rarity, power seats are heated and most comfortable I’ve ever had, in the snow I make truck look like nothing when it comes to handling, sound system POUNDS super nice, smooth ride, very minimal inexpensive issues at 170k, does some aggressive smoky burnouts, and very reliable too, no matter what, -20 degrees out, 97 degrees, it has never let me down, every time I turn the key she fires up loud and proud in 1 pull!! ETC. With all of that said, I wouldn’t trade this car for anything else. The 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP 4 door sedan is definitely a great performer, reliable till the end, beautifully and uniquely designed car 1000% Best car I’ve ever owned and very very highly recommend it.

GR was easy to work with and took care of problems as the came up. The purchase was without hastle and the truck was as good as they said it would be.

My 2008 G8GT has 185K on it and it still drives and handles like a new car. I have changed the brakes to slotted and change the oil myself every 3-4k miles. Front seats are not that comfortable for long trips and is my only minor complaint. I will keep the car as long as I can because there is nothing like the power being offered in a four door by an American Car Company.

This car is the best Pontiac ever so much fun.in Canada there is none on the road last time I saw 👀 one it was last year.

I bought this car used in 2012. Over 10yrs later and 214k miles she still rolling. I did have to replace power steering sensor last year and unfortunately it has to be reprogrammed in shop or would of saved chuck of money. My evap solenoid is giving me trouble but my heat my AC my radio my windows all work and I would buy a brand new one if I good. Lots of replaced headlamp bulbs over the years but once rewired it made much better

College Cars is a very respectable and classy dealership. The office is very clean, the sales staff is very honest and points out flaws in the cars - of which there are few because they only sell quality, low mileage cars. I would buy from College Cars again in a heartbeat.

My mom bought this car brand new in 2009 and I bought it from her in 2016, and finally now at 245k miles it finally needs a timing chain replacement and I'm making the decision to let it go. This car has taken me all over America multiple times over on 15k+ mile road trips. It has gone off road (not well but did it), zips up and down mountains, handled extreme cold (-40 F) and extreme heat (128 F) with no problems whatsoever. Even the transmission still runs like a dream, and i was really hoping to get a little more time from this car, but it's gotta go. Would absolutely buy another one if Pontiac was still around.

Purchased new September of 2009 now has 162K miles and i will never sell this car it has and is perfect. Best car I have ever owned and my first car was bought in 1967. Just a little info., the air condition system has never been serviced and you could hang meat in it on 100 degree day. It's on it's second battery does not use any oil between services. Original water pump. Not a tick under hood and as of two months ago will still do 164mph. No mods what so ever. And for looks minds Red w/two tone red/black interior simply beautiful

Its a very nice car. Love my black leather seats. The roof is super fancy. Might be an older car but its definitely a good one.

This car is great, its comfortable, fast, and the V8 Can get up and go. However, compared to more modern cars, the Poniac 2006 GXP V8 shows its age, My car cant accelerate as quickly as more modern cars. But its still a solid car. The most major issue with the GXP is the tires and suspension. This car is apparantly designed to drive on Perfectly Smooth roads. Which is great if you live in a Gated Community somehwere houses are $500,000 each and everybody is perfectly blonde. However, I prefer more 'All-Terrain' vehicles compared to 'high-preformance but extremely delicate.' I'll compare the 2 cars I've owned: Jeep 1996 Grand Cherokoo Laredo Extremely Tough, can go anywhere, I can drive over curbs easily. Poniac 2006 Is more like Princess and the Pea. If I hit a Gravel Rock, the whole car will feel it. The Jeep, can go anywhere on Earth basically. The Poniac, Hit a Curb? Need a New Rim, the whole cars missaligned and tires need rebalanced, and now the Tires going flat. Hit a pothole in the Jeep, no problem, keep driving. In the Poniac, Now everything needs re-alligned, rim is damaged, etc. Just as an example. ^ The Poniac is reliable, its just extremely sensitive and needs perfect roads. The Jeep is all-terrain, durable, and strong. I'd drive my Jeep anyday if I could. Considered I got my Jeep for $5k, then put $5k in upgrades/repairs, Id get it again anyday. The Poniac was $32k new, and is just extremely sensative.

(owner of three 06/07 g6 GT/GTPs convertibles) Wonderful, sporty look. Design is great with minimal flaws such as cover that opens when top comes down malfunctioning or air vents coming out. Seats look great but sit in this car longer then two hours you'll wish you weren't. Every car I've seen has a rip in driver seat, you'll know what I mean if you own one most likely. Engine and transmission are strong and reliable with little maintenance needed. Things like CV joints, ball joints, sway bars, etc you'll need to replace often along with many electrical details and oil/tranny leaks. All around amazing, going on five years with my first one from 132k miles to 203k miles it runs just as it did the day I bought it.

I have a 2008 Pontiac g8 v6 ( tuned ) . I'm a James Dean fan and his Porsche was named the little xxxxxxx, so mine is called the little xxxxx. Its gray trimmed in yellow, the funny thing is, people in Mustangs, Chargers, all ways rev their engines when they see me. I'm 61 and let them fly by. She is intimidating, but that's as far as it goes, lol I spend more money and time on the little xxxxx, you updating it, guess that's why I'm getting divorce.

This is my 2nd great experience at Roseville Auto Sales. My first great experience was about 3 years ago. Todd also helped me last time, and I'd been in communication with Matt via email. However, I had just purchased a nice 2000 Ford Focus from there that had been on their lot for awhile, but I did the research beforehand so knew the history of the car etc, so knew what I was getting into. They're always laid back there, and you ask for keys for whatever car(s) you want to test drive, and you can take your time inspecting under hood, starting them, then test driving them. Once you make up your mind on a purchase, all the paperwork takes less than 30 minutes and you're out the door. Thank you Todd and Matt for a very pleasant experience, I'll be back again in a couple years. They did mention they've been open 29 years roughly and have sold over 29,000 cars, which I believe, they stay pretty busy and overall have a very good selection of cars, a lot have high miles but some have moderate miles and are very reasonable. I’m a bragging past owner of a 2006 G6 Gypsy sedan. First owner up to around 37,000 miles. Great experience & performance! Only issue that aggravated me was the key release from the ignition “ which was repeatedly repaired & never solved?” My model was the rare 6 speed manual “ yes in a sedan!!!!” The manual had to be in a certain precise position to trigger the ignition key release. I joked with GM service department that apparently the car wanted to keep driving?! The only other service I can remember was the leather seat cover replaced because the color wore away. & a suspension part up front. Everything covered by factory no arguments. I’m extremely serious that this is one General Motors hidden past gems!!!! “ keep in mind I am NOT talking base entry level model here.” Everyone knows about the G8 the solstice which is understandably justified! However these G6 GTP & GXP are the best investment for the budget minded to get performance in a competitive fun driving sedan with luggage & storage space!” Unless you’re smart enough to purchase the HARDTOP metal roof convertible!” Do your self & your wallet a favor & don’t ignore the vehicle when looking!

Corey did not try to push a sale on us. I appreciated that! When it came time to talk Financials, PJ was super friendly! We have a 2008 G6 Sedan. It was our family car, then my daily work car, now my daughter drives it to work. 257,000 miles on it and still going strong. Regular oil changes and routine maintenance. GREAT car!

Purchased my 2009 Pontiac G6 V6 in 2012 with 39,000 miles on it and I still have it today. Very dependable even with over 250k miles on it. Never had to do anything major to it. It does need a tune up and minor repairs from wear and tear over the years. Overall, I love my Pontiac to say this was my first car I purchased on my own at the age of 19 and can say I still have it driving it daily. I wish they would still make Pontiac’s because it would make a great first car to those coming out of high school and need something reliable with low cost maintenance. I call my Pontiac “The Silver Bullet” due to it getting down the road with no problem.
