I've driven a large range of vehicles, from the cheapest commuter you can buy new, to fully loaded Town Cars and Chrysler 300's and everything in between. To get straight to it: It gets the job done, and won't break while doing it. It gets decent mileage, it's a Toyota so you know it's going to outlive you, and there's lots of space so how can you go wrong? To be 100% clear, it's not very comfortable and there's no sound insulation at all, and it makes no power which means getting anywhere at a brisk pace means your foot is occasionally to the floor during regular driving. I don't see these as issues, this is part of the fun, overall I have a lot of fun in it and I don't worry about it's reliability at all. I also recommend sampling the symphony that is allowing your muffler to rust off, and giving it some redline as a treat. She's a racecar.

My 2003 Pontiac Vibe automatic base model is the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. The drivers seat can be raised which makes it easy to get in & out. It runs smoothly. Just do the recommended maintenance & you will have a vehicle that will easily go beyond 250k.

I have owned 5 of these cars, they are such a great car. Reliable, feul efficient and if yoh have the Vibe with the 2.4 liter notir, its quite pepi. I had a 2003 Vibe that went for 348,000 miles. Current 09 has 260,000 on it and still going strong. They dont make cars like this anymore, there all Junk!!

Excellent experience overall. Bob was very knowledgeable, honest, patient and genuinely a kind person. Never was I pressured or questioned and any concern I had was taken care of. I highly recommend if you are looking for a clean, well maintained and valuable used car at a fair price. Nothing on his lot is below these standards. The experience of looking for and buying a reliable car ended up being an enjoyable one.

Ive owned a FWD 2006 pontiac vibe for 12 years , its run flawless ( standard battery and belts replaced ) its THE most RELIABLE car Ive ever owned in 55 years of owning cars!!! ( had about 7 cars in those years ) its rugged, drives well and semi comfortable .. visibility is tops and the hatch back room is great ! Best of all this car Never Dies ...current mileage is 278,000 miles runs great

After visiting multiple dealers in and around the Bentonville, I was expecting the worst when I went to see this 'small' dealer in the outskirts of Tulsa. I was led here by a nice looking car on cars.com. I confess, the name Bishop's Corner Auto Sales did nothing great for my confidence and it didn't go up as I drove into the lot. But boy oh boy, was I in for a surprise!!! Not only was Elliot really friendly with the sale of the Honda Accord, he made it a breeze with the entire process. I really loved the experience from start to finish. Unlike dealers that are either overpriced or keen on offering financing options and nothing else, he shared all the information he had about this car. He let me take my time in looking around on the car, answered all the questions I had, suggested the streets to drive in (a boon for an out-of-towner) to experience how the car felt in highway and city speeds with a blend of traffic and no-traffic. It was no pressure sales and I have a great product at a friendly price. When I suggested a trade-in, he worked late to try and ensure I did not have to drive back all the way to Tulsa another time. It was definitely worth my while and I am thrilled I still went with my gut to go to this 'small' place 20 miles from Tulsa. He suggested taking the car to an authorized dealer (unlike others that run helter skelter at the mention of dealer). Just like Paul Potts or Susan Boyle on BGT, where a nonchalant, almost nondescript looking someone took people's breath away and left them with a big smile, this little place gave me the best experience and the biggest smile I have had with buying a car. I owned one from 2007 until 2023. Probably the best car I ever had. I traded it in on a Corolla Cross, but if I could find a factory fres 2007 Vibe, I' d buy it. The only oddity was thst I had to replace two bad water pumps, and serpentine belt. The new Corolla has too much infotainment gadgetry, and a poorly written manual by comparion.

GR was easy to work with and took care of problems as the came up. The purchase was without hastle and the truck was as good as they said it would be.

I inherited from my Mom this wonderful super gas economy SUV and it has been in the family since 2003. I will never sell it and will definatelly will reccommend it to anyone. I just need to paint it two tone light gray.

Bought a 2006 Pontiac Vibe fwd, automatic new. It has ~ 350,000 miles on it (speedometer will only register 299999 miles). We keep up with the miles using the trip odometer. Have maintained consistent and regular 3,000 mile interval oil changes. Engine uses NO OIL (Valvoline 5w30) and tranny has given no problems. Replaced valve cover gasket & O2 sensor at ~ 330,000 miles; struts @ ~ 340,000 miles (yes, they were overdue!). Needs catalytic converter. Nose of hood is a rock magnet (the car has never been wrecked or had any body repairs or paint). Paint is beginning to show its age (I hate base coat/clear coat; give me acrylic enamel any day). Headlight lense covers are weathering (originals). Have replaced fog lights a couple of times (road debris takes them out). All accessories - power windows, door locks, AC, electronics, lights - work. It is still our daily driver plus it does double duty as our towed vehicle behind our motorhome. As such, I’ve taken it places in the mountains on steep (and I mean STEEP), narrow loose rock roads (most recently in Big Bend National Park and surrounding areas). To sum it up, if they were still made, I’d buy a new one today. One solid, reliable car. If I could improve it, I would add more ground clearance and selective four wheel drive with a conventional transfer case so I could flat tow it behind my motorhome. (As for use, we use it for “commuting, transporting family, and having fun”; can’t pick just one).

The Vibe is great transportation. It is very reliable and gets around in all weather. We have driven our vibe on many trips, and it just hums along. It's a great choice for a small family oor a couple. Good for hauling groceries!

I purchased this car in December of 2008 from the dealership. Besides a water pump and brakes, I have replaced nothing else besides regular maintenance. This car, when purchased, was the best priced car, with all the safety features one would require, that could also be used to carry significant cargo. At the time, a comparable Matrix model would have cost $6,000 more than what I paid. Since, it has currently driven only 160,000 kms at this time, I should have many years of dependable service ahead of me. The bones, spine and muscles of this car is a Toyota Corolla, which is why it's the most dependable. The engine is not a power horse, but the 1.8 liter is the extremely dependable Toyota engine that is rated to outpace most engines in its class. This is a very dependable, affordable car that has never failed to impress me since day one!

Excellent car never will leave you stranded and cost of ownership is insanely low. Take care of it and it will take care of you! It has tons of room for how small it looks.

I've had mine for 5 years now. She has her issues but every car does. Cheapish fixes. Love the ride and the gas milage. Will literally cry when she no longer runs.

I drove my relatives Pontic Vibe while my 2002 Honda Accords transmission was being worked on. Now my transmission in the Honda refuses to work on the highway. So I am buying my relatives Pontiac Vibe. I need something reliable to drive from Longview TX to Fort Worth TX many times. I have to park my 2002 Honda Accord from now on. The Poniac Vibe has plenty of get up and go. I drove it to Fort Worth a week ago and I'm happy with its performance. It does use more fuel than my Honda Accord though. The Pontiacs engine bay is real clean. The Pontiac handled the rough I 20 very well. I have the check written out and ready to purchase my first Pontiac. Good by to my Honda. I have heard mechanics call the auto. Trans. On the 2002 Honda Accord GLASS . Because they break so easily. My sister said they have driven the Vibe to Arkansas many times and it still performs well. The AC and the heater works well in the Vibe also. The cruise control works very well too. I'm hoping to find an owners manual on e-bay. I have no idea what year model the Vibe is yet. But I do know it has 16 valves. Somebody has put tinting on the back window over the rear defroster, so I'm not bothering it. The paint job has seen its better days. I'm planning on repainting the Vibe, but I will continue with the Maroon color. This isn't a Firebird, but it will do.

OBO 2004 with 1.8L and front wheel drive. 255000 miles and counting. Changed the brakes at 100000miles. I change the fluids yearly using a vacuum pump. The price of vehicles today, I've figured I would save it save it 3years for my daughter's 16th B'day. Everthing is very simple for back yard mechanic to replace.

We bought our 2004 Vibe Base with moon and tune pkg (I believe that is what it was called?), in Dec 2003. As of May 2022, I still drive this car daily. It currently has 249,000 miles. Aside from several sets of tires and brakes, a few batteries, and many oil changes, this car has never let us down. It has been well maintained. It doesn't leak any oil, and doesn't misfire. We didn't buy for any performance or tech (at the time lol). Everything works well! This is a car that is 99.9% Toyota. A simple, yet very reliable car!

We found mine sitting in the back of an auto repair shop. All we had to do to get it to start was swap in a new battery, then it ran and drove like we drove it there ten minutes earlier. Mine does not have ABS, traction control, or cruise control, but those are just minor inconveniences. After we changed the tires, brakes, filters and fluids, it drove like a dream. For a mid-2000's hatchback, it is peppy for the 126hp it has. Little body roll when cornering, excellent throttle and brake response, and the steering is tight and responsive. Even just having the 4-speed automatic transmission is fun, although I'd prefer the 5-speed stickshift. Roomy interior, while being a nice compact car at the same time. Doesn't take up much space in a driveway, and if you have the right color(Wave blue, salsa red), it'll stand out in a crowd. All in all, great little car.

Been looking for a 2003 Road King for almost a year. Problem in WNY is owners look at the blue book price and tack on 3 or 4 K. Found this bike on dealers web site, and bought sight unseen. I love this car with all of my heart; I have a 2006 Pontiac Vibe and despite the wreck, it runs like a dream. It has over 200k miles on it and I drive it up a mountain nearly daily. It is my first car and I have never had any problems with it.
