What can I say, the benchmark of sports cars. I have a 4S Cabrio. I chose the 4 as I like all-wheel-drive, even in Florida. Better grip. The S also has more horsepower. Build quality and fit and finish our superb. The ultimate sports car without all the problems of the Italian cars. You’d be hard to find a car with better handling and Performance. The look is timeless. There’s no mistake at what you’re looking at when you see a Porsche. Great car.

This is my 3rd Porsche and this time I chose the 911 T. I wanted a xxxxx to the wall driving experience in the Smokie Mountains near my home. The T does not disappoint. It performs flawlessly. It hugs the corners -I can easily take 25 mph at 50 mph or more in perfect control. The engine/weight ratio gives more power than can ever be realistically used even if you have a long stretch that is police free. Overall it is a thrill to drive, the cabin is comfortable without being fussy and it growls like a caged tiger with the sport exhaust.

I purchased a car about a week ago from them and I was waiting to complete my review. Overall a very fine car. Dashboard controls are not responsive and it took two of us to figure out how to play USB flash drive (CD's don't work). Pairing cell phone is also problematic.

I spend about $1000-$2000 each year on maintenance. One may consider that high, but I purchased a 911 C4S car for $35,000; the MSRP was $93,000 in 2004. The vehicle has appreciated since 2019, and now, with such a detailed service history over the years, it could sell for $40,000. So you either pay in depreciation or maintenance, and though I may be a stickler for maintenance, it keeps the value stable. I could have gotten a new Camry for $35,000, but it would be worth about $15,000 now and less fun. Next car I will jump up to a 2012 to 2015 Porsche. You can't go wrong if you get the right model, rare options, and even rare colors. Number one is having complete maintenance records; don't buy one without them.

The car is perfect. Looks fabulous, handles magnificently, is solid and fast. Nothing ever seems to go wrong with it. Oh’ it is a cabriolet and is perfect for the Texas climate. No additional comments needed.

Owned a corvette, a viper, the 911 and the boxster. I’d say the boxster s was a bit more fun to drive, and like both porsches equally for different reasons. Test drove BMWs on multiple occasions, never liked any of them. Test drove a couple of ferraris, a bit too small and expensive. Same for the NSX. Bought it 2 years old and got a great price. The targa 4s that I currently have, has some nice 911 features, including the large retractable roof, and the pop up rear window, for easy access to the back seat.

Porsche 911....need I say more. Moreover, I've purchased many cars during my 66 years but have never had a better experience than I had with BMW & Porsche of Ocala. I flew to San Jose, California 3/1/22 and bought a used 2000 Cabriolet, one owner, 54k miles. I drove down Pacific Coast Hwy over 2 days. To LA area and tooled around for a week. Had it inspected by a Porsche restorer who gave it 👍🏻👍🏻. Drove to Las Vegas through Death Valley with top down. After a couple of days drove to Phoenix. Spent several days running on desert roads. Then spent 6 days driving back to SC. Went through “Tail of Dragon” 5 times. I named the car the “Beast”. I love it and I’m a car guy but never had a car like this. Drove it 4500 miles in 18 days. Would recommend highly.

I purchased and held car for 4 years. After I purchased the car it needed many things, water pump failed, brake lines, alternator failed, motor mounts failed, cup holders snapped in all I spent about $15,000.00 on it in 4 years on a well cared for car with about 40k miles on it. It’s not cheap to keep up and I did not overpay for repairs at the dealer. It’s a great car however it’s going to cost you to keep it up properly. All the while you own it you will have fun when it’s not in the shop. Every time you hear a noise you wonder what is next and how much will it cost. This is a car for owners with disposable income, time, an extra car and a good local Porsche specialist.

What can you say about any 911? The one I test drove was the S. It’s just the perfect sports car. Light, just enough power to go fast, not overwhelming. Comfortable, quiet, composed at any speed. The soft top is so quiet. Almost like a regular top. With the top down, you can still hold a somewhat normal conversation at highway speeds. Just the perfect car for a cruise or fast run on a sunny day.
