This car is a rocket on 4 wheels. The PDK transmission shifts very quickly with no lag or delay in torque. In fact the torque seems to increase in addition to achieving great gas mileage. That's a formidable task compared to other performance cars. The car does sit low to the ground so if you have bad knees or hips then it might not be a good fit for you.

What can I say, the benchmark of sports cars. I have a 4S Cabrio. I chose the 4 as I like all-wheel-drive, even in Florida. Better grip. The S also has more horsepower. Build quality and fit and finish our superb. The ultimate sports car without all the problems of the Italian cars. You’d be hard to find a car with better handling and Performance. The look is timeless. There’s no mistake at what you’re looking at when you see a Porsche. Great car.

My husband and I were on the hunt for a used Land Rover LR2 in good condition with low miles. We live in West Columbia SC and were finding very few options that met our criteria/price range in our area. After making 2 different 3 hour drives to see cars that weren't exactly what we were expecting, we were starting to think maybe we'd never find the right car. Enter Persichetti Motorsports. We contacted them early on morning, by the end of the day they had our financing worked out and we had an appointment to see the car the next day. My husband made the drive solo and was very impressed with not only the car but the helpfulness of their staff. The rest of the process was a cake walk, even with ne not being present during the initial visit. We learned through this process that purchasing a car long distance doesn't have to be uncomfortable or risky. I spend about $1000-$2000 each year on maintenance. One may consider that high, but I purchased a 911 C4S car for $35,000; the MSRP was $93,000 in 2004. The vehicle has appreciated since 2019, and now, with such a detailed service history over the years, it could sell for $40,000. So you either pay in depreciation or maintenance, and though I may be a stickler for maintenance, it keeps the value stable. I could have gotten a new Camry for $35,000, but it would be worth about $15,000 now and less fun. Next car I will jump up to a 2012 to 2015 Porsche. You can't go wrong if you get the right model, rare options, and even rare colors. Number one is having complete maintenance records; don't buy one without them.

I bought my 1999 996 in early 1999. I love the styling and it drives like a dream. A daily drive for me these days with 85000 miles. The clutch was replaced after 50000 miles and I have the oil changed every 3000 miles. My mechanic has been taking care of it for over 20 years now. I asked about the IMS issue and am told there is no evidence of any problem. If you stay ahead of maintenance you will have the best automobile you could ever own.

After 911 turbos, and then having Cayman S's, I knew I wanted a 911 NA. A GT3 version seemed to fit the bill, but I could not find any to test drive. I bought a 2018 sight unseen and when it was delivered to my house, and drove it, is when I realized: you don't know until you know. There's a reason why Chris Harris can have any car he wants, and test drives all cars, and chooses a GT3 for himself. It is quick, not as fast as a turbo, but it screams like a banshee when getting up to 9k rpms. The experience is what sells this car. It is endearing and I will not let it go. No car ADD when it comes to the GT3. After years of ownership, it has not had a single issue. Definitely recommend.

I've been fortunate to own several cars, including a 06 Boxster, 08 911 and now this 2013 911, which I purchased Certified with 27k miles on it. It does not disappoint, the sound, the handling, the drive is amazing and so typical Porsche. Still tight after more then 10 years and 2 prior owners. Wow. Love the car and yes, found it on Cars.com

The 991.2 Porsche 911 really is the everyday sports car. Not conspicuous but also not mundane. With so many variants available, its hard not to find a 911 that fits YOUR needs and wants. The engine is sublime, the interior is refined and well built, and the cockpit ergonomics are unmatched. After driving a 911 (any variant), any other sub-150K sports car is just Meh. One of the underappreciated aspects of using this car on a daily basis is how easy it is to live with: the outward visibility is excellent, the tech is great, and the car is comfortable on long drives. When looking for your first 911, you should consider with a well-loved 991. I prefer the "Dot 2's" because of the turbo engine and the Apple CarPlay but the 991.1's have a charm of their own and shouldn't be discounted. One of the few drawbacks to any 911 is the road noise...you will have to get used to hearing those big tires hitting the road and if you drive on rough roads the majority of the time you WILL be annoyed (maybe look at a NSX or a C8 instead). Otherwise, you will not regret the ownership experience!

I have had 7 Porsches and assorted other 'exotic' cars over the years includinga Lamborghini Miura, Mercedes CLS 550 Biturbo V8 , 1973 Pantera, Ferarri 348, TVR, BMW's, and others, including a 1969 Camaro Z28 that i still drive with a big grin! My 2014 Carrera 911S Cabriolet is by far my favorite Plenty of power, responsive, luxurious, and just a kick in the rear to drive anywhere. Just driving to the store is a fun experience! For me, at 76, It is the perfectly balanced sports car that is capable of taking my breath away! And I drive it hard when conditions permit! Truly a wonderful high performance sports car of the first order! I couldn't be happier than behind the wheel of my 911 S Cab!

the 911, and the 992, especially, is the perfect daily driver- beautiful styling, enormous power, and reliability. I'm not sure what the other reviews were complaining about, it looks like they may have bought a 'lemon' this is my 5th 911, and i'm addicted- you can't go wrong my only complaint, is the additional costs for features that should already be included in a $140,000 car!
