1980 Porsche 928 rebuilt mechanically. Drives like a Porsche race car. A true 39 year old classic that runs great and still turns heads! Needs some TLC on the interior to bring it to show quality.

I bought my 1995 928 GTS from the first owner back in 2000 with just 8k miles. It is one of 30 5-speed 928 GTSs brought to all of North America for the 1995 model year (can be verified at: www.928registry.org)! Prices for good low mileage used 1995 GTS 5-speed cars have recently (in 2009 to me more specific) surpassed the $100k mark on several occiasions! In spite of what you might have heard/read in the media the cars are extremely reliable and trouble free IF they are/were maintained properly. I've owned 8 928s over the years and never had any significant issues with any of them. As with any Porsche, the sky is the limit when it comes to options. 928 GTS production ended with the 1995 model year and the car wasn't selling well at the time so most are/were minimally equipped and done in pretty basic colors (black, white, blue and silver) mainly to keep the MSRP down. Typically, they will have a sunroof, supple leather and a CD player. Beyond that, seat surfaces were always leather and the bulk of the remaining interior surfaces are/were high quality vinyl and plastics. If you find one with many more options (full leather interior for example) it was probably a car someone ordered as opposed to one for dealer stock (which most were). The 5.4L motor, 17" cup wheels (which btw first appeared on a 928 and 968 a year b/f they appeared on the 993....), wider rear fenders, larger brakes, more sound insulation and aero mirrors distinguish it from earlier S4 and GT models. Overall the GTS is one of the greatest GT cars ever built. I will NEVER sell mine and consider myself lucky to have such a nice example.

This whole process of buying a car was a very positive experience. Since I was 14 I’ve dreamed that one day I’d be able to own a white twin turbo Supra! I’ve been following Brooklyn Auto for a little over a year now. I’ve always loved looking at all the awesome cars they have and dream that one day I’d be able to buy something as cool. I started following them because I’ve always loved Toyota Supra’s, and they always seem to have very quality ones for sell. Only problem is I live in Kansas in they are in New York. But Last month they posted the car I had always wanted. A White Twin Turbo Supra with only 71k miles on it. That night day at about 10pm my time (even later in New York) I texted the number posted and within minutes Adam from Brooklyn Auto Messaged me back. I told him that I really liked the car and preceded to ask questions. That night I ask if he could finance a part of the car and he told me no problem. He had a bank that he used that he trusted. The next morning Adam and I spoke on the phone and made me feel really comfortable with the whole process. He was very prompt when requesting any videos, and very responsive with answering all the questions that I had. It took the thought “is this for real” or “a bad deal” completely away! With little time I was approved for the loan and the car was mine! Now for transportation! I’ve always had a bad experience with transporters. Adam told me not to worry because he had a guy. The transport guy called me and told me because I was working with Adam he would hook me up and give me a discount and setup a time to pick up the car the next day. This was on a Thursday, the transporter told me he should have the car to me by the following Thursday. Adam sent me another Video of the car getting loaded up and I got supra excited! Well guess what? That Sunday I got a call from the transporter saying he was only 3 hours out!!! For real!?!?! He showed up 4 days early! Seeing the car for the first time was amazing! Just how it had been described to me! It only took 25 years. Because of Adam I now have the car I’ve always wanted, and it is crazy nice!!!! Very responsive to my inquiry on the used vehicle I purchased and setting up financing. I have been left speechless by the services provided by MotorCar Classics. I had called their office and was so lucky to be connected to Craig. The original conversation started with info on a car they had recently sold. We talked for a good 20-30 minutes and I can tell Craig was full of enthusiasm and a passion for cars. The Porsche 928 S was a dream car of mine for 20 years. About 2 years ago I came across and ad where a guy had 2 of them for sale as a package deal (1 ran and 1 for parts). I jumped on them as quick as I could. Needless to say, I had to piece them together to make one good car but it has been a great journey and in the end, I have a great looking and driving car worth 10 times what I paid for the pair!

I had this model for five years. Although it needed quite a bit of maintenance each year, I would buy another tomorrow if I found one in good shape. The interior fit the driver like a glove fits a hand, the exterior styling was rightly famous and striking, and it was a pleasure to drive. Although Porsche is of course lauded for their rear-engine models, the 928 was also a masterpiece. One test-drive will be enough to convince you.

professional..however a lot of the cars they are selling don't run or need extensive work..it makes me feel the ads are a bit deceptive..not disclosing that info upfront..I wouldn't have wasted my time pursuing these vehicles
