This car is beautiful! We are so happy we got it, and it is so rare (only 500 sent to US). The color combination pf silver and chocolate brown is gorgeous and umique. We can't wait til summer to put the top down.

Not a daily driver. But, by far the most fun car I’ve ever owned. Bought a 2013 S MT in 2015, still can’t part with it in 2024. This one’s a keeper. It is a pure joy to drive, mostly top down but even top up, the flat 6 boxer engine sound is incredible. Handling is superb - it’s like the car is an extension of the person driving it…the car goes where ever you want it to go effortlessly and nimbly…it’s amazing! The 981s MT is an incredible value. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

We bought our 2014 Porsche Boxster Base in early 2016 with only 1,200 miles on the odometer from a Porsche dealer in NC. We’ve owned Corvettes, BMW 528i’s, Mercedes 300D’s, Subaru’s, Prius, Explorer, Suburban, etc and our Boxster is by far the best car overall! During the extended factory warranty we had it serviced at a dealer and their warranty was excellent. Now we use other experts for service and the have access to the factory maintenance and can reset the yellow service requests after completion. The 2.7 liter flat 6 is excellent and nothing beats the sound it makes above 4,000 rpm. Also ours gets 40+ mpg at highway speeds and corners like it’s on rails! Go ahead. Buy one!

The PDK transmission is the most responsive transmission that I have ever driven. The creature comforts are superb both heat and A/C. The mileage per gallon is much better than I expected in a performance vehicle

1st Porsche -a base 2013 6-spd. I've owned a lot of more powerful sports cars. BMW's Audi, Vette's whatever. I love this car -drop the top and cruise the mountain roads -get serious in the twisties and the precision in handling and the sound of that flat 6 on downshift and acceleration to meet that next corner? Enough said. As a daily driver -no. as a weekend or extended weekend trip with the SO -sublime.

THE SERVICE MECHANIC LEFT ALL THE TIRE STEM CAPS LOOSE WHEN HE/SHE CHECKED THE TIRE PRESSURE AND LOST ONE. DID'NT RESET THE SPEEDOMETER AFTER CHANGING THE OIL. LEFT BLACK SMUGEST ON THE TRUCK. PUT THE NEXT OIL CHANGE STICKER ON CROOKET.

Always wanted a Boxster (over a 911, I know!?) and got a loaded 2015 over a basic S. You have to drive it to believe it. Every single drive puts a smile on your face. The 2.7 is plenty and winding it up listening to that engine groan and then scream is a thing of beauty which hits the tummy tingle button.

This car is an amazing roadster and easily the best bang for your buck. I have also owned a Miata and the Boxster feels much more refined. If you are able to afford it, I feel that the Boxster is just a better Miata (more comfortable, more spacious, faster, looks a lot better)

Went recently to look at a Porsche 911. Salesman “ Shah Khalid” was very helpful and knowledgeable about the car I was looking at. We agreed to a price, etc. At the last minute I backed out due to a family illness issue which caused LOCO to loose a sale to the second person looking at the car. Totally my fault. Got things worked out, including a refund of my deposit. Car ultimately got sold. Hope to revisit all of this with Shah when things calm down at my house, and he finds me another @ cream puff”

I have owned 2 Boxters. First one was a 2001 S series. Currently own a 2008 Base model. These cars are just fantastic to drive. Both were Triptonic. The exterior update on the 2008 is perfect. Only 47,000 miles on it. Bought the car with 34,000 miles on the odometer. Near mint condition. One tip for new owners is to change oil and filter every 5,000miles. I have a great mechanic who specializes Porsches and Land Rovers, I have both. Saves me me big $$$ over dealerships cost costs on repair. Follow the maintenance ‘schedule and you will have a blast. My wife and I love driving through New England with the top down. God I love the car….

The Boxster S is that rare automobile that can do both. If you want to drop the top and cruise to your fave eatery while basking in lots of admiring glances, get ready. Just know when you summon the six cylinder engine the Boxster S will respond and that is before you hit the Sport or Sport Plus buttons. Then the car roars to life and turns beastly. That hard driving machine can also include driver comforts like two small trunks, fourteen way adjustable seats, launch control, twenty inch tires, a 445 watt Bose stereo and a top that folds at speeds up to 30 MPH. You can tool around Los Hollywood or drive it at Le Mans. Porsche designed the Boxster S to be a brilliant sports car and they succeeded.

If you’re looking for some funny and fast car purchase this one on the stick shift. It’s very comfortable mpg is 25. Service and parts is not so pricey

I'm 6' so I wish this was a bit more room - now if your into self driving cars this isn't it - this car is more like a surgeons scalpel precise - it does exactly what you tell it to do right when you tell it to do it. Aside from the fact that its rear profile is more akin to Pininfarina then Bauhaus - you will have a constant smile on your face driving this car and you don't need the "S" variation offered by Porsche its insanely fast in the standard version

The 2005 Boxster S is an absolute blast to drive. I have a giant smile plastered across my face after every drive. The only other car I've driven that was this much fun was another Porsche (1986 944 Turbo). My Boxster has been very reliable with no major issues to date. My only complaints are that anything I have done on the car is expensive and it has some annoying quirks. One example: If the battery goes dead, the heated seats and built in garage remote stop working until a "factory reset" is preformed (strange but true). This factory reset requires a computer scan tool that costs $1000s. So, a trip to the mechanic is in order after a dead battery. That is both a waste of my time and expensive.

They have the most excellent customer service. Glenn went out of his way to accommodate me and make sure I had my car as soon as possible and then called a few days later to see how things were. Lori was outstanding in finding a loan company for me and was very friendly. I will not shop anywhere else.

I currently own this car and everytime I walk inside my garage it brings a smile to my face. It is a 5 speed manual and grips to the road effortlessly. This is the perfect car for its price, mainly because it?s quick, good looking, and is a blast to drive. Because it?s a boxster, it is a convertible, and that is a great luxury during the summer that makes this car so much fun to throw around and have some fun with.
