Incredibly fun car, a blast to toss around in the corners. Not particularly fast cars but they age well and still look fantastic. The convertible top is just the icing on the cake.

I've dreamed of owning a 911 Turbo since I was in my teens. I'm now 63 years old and don't need to drive 150mph anymore. Last year my wife and I decided to look for a convertible to recapture the days of when we first started dating in 1987 when she had a 1982 Fiat Spyder 2000 convertible. We traded that in 2004 on a BMW 330Xi. We had a pretty sweet deal lined up on a 2008 BMW Z4 until the day before we went to pick it up and found out the dealer sold it from under us. What could have really sucked turned into a golden opportunity: we chanced upon a 2001 Boxster S with 59,000 original miles. We have not regretted the decision one bit. Yes, the ergonomics are somewhat dated compared to today and it's not the latest and greatest technology, but we bought it to drive, not to be distracted with all sorts of gizmos. (I'm employed as a Sales representative at a local Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep Dealer for over 35 years. I'm exposed to all the technology). This little Bavarian bomber is an absolute blast to drive; comfortable, quick, sticks to the road like burnt eggs to a cast iron frying pan, and turns heads everywhere. It's capable of 160+ mph, but the right road at 55 mph brings grins all the time. We just went for a weekend trip with it and had no problem with room for our luggage, a tote bag, and a small soft-sided cooler. And as an added bonus, we took it through the famed Hawk's Nest Highway on Route 97 north of Port Jervis, NY. Wonderful to drive, comfortable even after a couple hours, fuel-efficient (except when I play with the Tiptronic on a twisty road), and so far, dead-bolt reliable. So I didn't get my 911 Turbo; the Boxster S is a more than welcome consolation prize. You owe it to yourself. P.S- My wife drives it more than I do!

Fast and fun sports car, superb handling, performance, and styling. Mid-engine balance allows incredible G-forces, engine seems to develop peak-torque in the higher range of RPMs.

I have had 3 Boxster s over the years and this one for over 10. Loved every minute driving it. Great pick up and handling plus two trunks to allow for hauling things. A real head turner. Just need to maintain it for it to keep running well. I'm only selling mine cause we moved down a dirt road and its too rutted for a sports car. I got it for a great price, so letting it go for thousands less than it's blue book.

the Boxter handles like no other Porsche it may not have 911 power but I believe it handles better, a great car I highly recommend it

Felix and Mina were great! I called in at about 10:30am and Felix got me the info I needed immediately and was able to test drive 30min after our call. I explained to Mina on our test drive I was crunched for time and he got me off the lot in my new car in approximately 45 mins! I thought I was only going to have time for a test drive but these guys made everything happen that was needed for me to get into my new ride. this car is one of my dream cars until i actually owned one. i enjoyed many adventures and really cold feel the difference between other European cars.

Josh was easy to work with and helpful. We did have some trouble with the truck we bought but he worked with us to get it repaired.

My car had the IMS bearing replaced. With that said it has been a very reliable car. I use it as an everyday driver and also on the autocross track for fun. It now has 75k miles and is still a very trusted driver. I love this car!

Pick the right day and you will be joined by either by a multitude of similarly inspired drivers or have the whole route pretty much to yourself. The Boxster's neutral weight distribution makes the curves a 'piece of cake' and there is enough horsepower available in the 2.5L, six cylinder engine to easily handle the nearly 2000 feet of elevation change on this famous route! Ultimate fun machine for this kind of road!

I’ve always wanted a Porsche. It’s nearly 20 years old but I will absolutely enjoy it. Imperfections and all. Luckily there are multiple YouTube videos that help with the care a maintenance of the car. I look forward to the challenge.

The mid-engine layout and a 3.2l Porsche flat six makes it super fun to drive. Over the 18 years of ownership my Boxter S also proved to be a extremely reliable. Can't beet this combination.

Longevity if maintained is superior to all cars of this type (sport) I have ever owned. It is a car that you keep because it keeps on giving, it is fun, to drive and has timeless design.

The Porsche Boxster is my summer fun car. I take it out on special occasions and use it when I need to make special trips to the grocery store. It's comfy and agile. It hugs the road like no other car.
