Used Porsche convertibles for sale near Harrison, NJ

I spend about $1000-$2000 each year on maintenance. One may consider that high, but I purchased a 911 C4S car for $35,000; the MSRP was $93,000 in 2004. The vehicle has appreciated since 2019, and now, with such a detailed service history over the years, it could sell for $40,000. So you either pay in depreciation or maintenance, and though I may be a stickler for maintenance, it keeps the value stable. I could have gotten a new Camry for $35,000, but it would be worth about $15,000 now and less fun. Next car I will jump up to a 2012 to 2015 Porsche. You can't go wrong if you get the right model, rare options, and even rare colors. Number one is having complete maintenance records; don't buy one without them.

Very fun and surprisingly reliable. Known problems are somewhat commonplace but can be remedied. But pricey which is reflected in the price of the car. No other car I have driven matches the smiles and fun.

What can you say about any 911? The one I test drove was the S. It’s just the perfect sports car. Light, just enough power to go fast, not overwhelming. Comfortable, quiet, composed at any speed. The soft top is so quiet. Almost like a regular top. With the top down, you can still hold a somewhat normal conversation at highway speeds. Just the perfect car for a cruise or fast run on a sunny day.

Owner of Porsche's since my first purchase new in 1970. 12 registered to me and another 20 or so I bought, drove on dealer plate when I was in used car business.M y 2006 997.1 Carrera 4 Cab with 30k on the odometer is one of the most dialed in cars I have driven. PASM along with the AWD helps keep this one glued to the road. The 4 is Wider than a 2 the S is not necessary. All season road runner. Top down warm weather, AWD for the rest. 😎

I just purchased a 2003 Mercedes SL 500 from Jordan. He was very honest and straightfoward and there was no haggling on price. I asked about having the vehicle inspected and they transported it a mercedes specialist shop. There were repairs that shop said needed and they paid to have the repairs done. No argument . The car is everything I would want in a sports car! Runs like a champ! You can feel the power and waiting to see what you want to do ! This is a true sports car and fun to drive ! After owning ~20 cars, I find the 2009 911 Turbo to be the perfect understated example of class and performance. Great handling, ride quality and just raw power.

My experience with Mike was great very informative. Took his time to explain everything about the vehicle. Everything about the loan. Try to get me the best loan deal which he did. I have no complaints. Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another vehicle from this location.

The mid-engine layout and a 3.2l Porsche flat six makes it super fun to drive. Over the 18 years of ownership my Boxter S also proved to be a extremely reliable. Can't beet this combination.

It has been about 4 years since I purchased my luxury SUV from them and everytime I go there for service, the job is always done effectively for a marginal fee. Recently, my truck couldn't move forward and backward and I had it towed to them. To my big surprise, I had it back yesterday (11/20/19). While I was expecting a monster bill, to my big surprise, the invoice was zero. When I asked why, the answer was: " What was done, only required a nominal charge", and as a customer, that charge was fully discounted. In my opinion, any other place would have charged at least $2,000.00. Thus, with that experience, coupled with many others, I am proud to recommend BAS to anyone who's purchasing or servicing a motor vehicle. I've dreamed of owning a 911 Turbo since I was in my teens. I'm now 63 years old and don't need to drive 150mph anymore. Last year my wife and I decided to look for a convertible to recapture the days of when we first started dating in 1987 when she had a 1982 Fiat Spyder 2000 convertible. We traded that in 2004 on a BMW 330Xi. We had a pretty sweet deal lined up on a 2008 BMW Z4 until the day before we went to pick it up and found out the dealer sold it from under us. What could have really sucked turned into a golden opportunity: we chanced upon a 2001 Boxster S with 59,000 original miles. We have not regretted the decision one bit. Yes, the ergonomics are somewhat dated compared to today and it's not the latest and greatest technology, but we bought it to drive, not to be distracted with all sorts of gizmos. (I'm employed as a Sales representative at a local Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep Dealer for over 35 years. I'm exposed to all the technology). This little Bavarian bomber is an absolute blast to drive; comfortable, quick, sticks to the road like burnt eggs to a cast iron frying pan, and turns heads everywhere. It's capable of 160+ mph, but the right road at 55 mph brings grins all the time. We just went for a weekend trip with it and had no problem with room for our luggage, a tote bag, and a small soft-sided cooler. And as an added bonus, we took it through the famed Hawk's Nest Highway on Route 97 north of Port Jervis, NY. Wonderful to drive, comfortable even after a couple hours, fuel-efficient (except when I play with the Tiptronic on a twisty road), and so far, dead-bolt reliable. So I didn't get my 911 Turbo; the Boxster S is a more than welcome consolation prize. You owe it to yourself. P.S- My wife drives it more than I do!

I've raced Porsches including GT3 Cup but this is my first street Porsche. My wife and I love convertibles for touring and I wanted a track capable car, too. A 911 will likely be next but I am really glad I started with my 718 Boxster GTS. The turbo four cylinder is outstanding with great power, especially down low torque, and we're seeing excellent fuel mileage. Some purists say it has to be the flat six but this car proves them wrong. I don't mind the sound at all, it reminds me of a wonderful air cooled Porsche. Love the performance, comfort and utility (two trunks!) of my 718 Boxster GTS and can't wait to get it on the track soon, too.

Words do not do it justice. This car is simply stunning visually, growls delightfully, and it's a dream to drive, incredibly responsive and shifts so smoothly. I actually ended up trading two cars and the process was seamless with no pressure. The general manager even came out to greet me. Full credit goes to John Anthony because he put me in a better car at a much better deal. He came in on his day off to deliver it to me. I truly enjoyed working this purchase through with him and very much like the car he sold me. Great dealership.

Their approach to the buyer candidate was gentle, neither pushy nor persistent. I was asked what I want upfront, which made our deal simple and smooth. I felt respected and treated with caution and professionalism. I was happy to get something going ultimately with this sales manager.

We bought our 2014 Porsche Boxster Base in early 2016 with only 1,200 miles on the odometer from a Porsche dealer in NC. We’ve owned Corvettes, BMW 528i’s, Mercedes 300D’s, Subaru’s, Prius, Explorer, Suburban, etc and our Boxster is by far the best car overall! During the extended factory warranty we had it serviced at a dealer and their warranty was excellent. Now we use other experts for service and the have access to the factory maintenance and can reset the yellow service requests after completion. The 2.7 liter flat 6 is excellent and nothing beats the sound it makes above 4,000 rpm. Also ours gets 40+ mpg at highway speeds and corners like it’s on rails! Go ahead. Buy one!

I have bought many cars in my lifetime (more than 50+ cars). I am usually that friend or family member that people call to help them buy cars. Sure you all have someone like that. This was my best experience that I have had. They were easy to work with, respectful, honest, no games, professional, and HONESTLY THE MOST PAINLESS EXPERIENCE EVER. Also, if you are from NY, NJ, or CT, you need to shop here. They only have a $75 doc fee where they usually charge around $500 in other states. I'm from MA and it is common practice of $450-500 for the doc fee. No other junk or silly hidden charges. The car I bought came with all the paperwork and things I expected. Seriously, I would drive 4 hours again to buy another car from them again. It was that good of an experience and my travel time is nothing for excellent service.

What can I say, the benchmark of sports cars. I have a 4S Cabrio. I chose the 4 as I like all-wheel-drive, even in Florida. Better grip. The S also has more horsepower. Build quality and fit and finish our superb. The ultimate sports car without all the problems of the Italian cars. You’d be hard to find a car with better handling and Performance. The look is timeless. There’s no mistake at what you’re looking at when you see a Porsche. Great car.
