After a terrible experience at Rusnak! I had the car there(Rusnak Service Dept." for 5 days with an appointment before they did a "Check Engine Light" Like.. come-on! Really!? I decided to take my Porsche out of there and called Porsche Downtown in L.A. and made an appointment for tomorrow morning with Andy Acevedo Service Advisor. Great guy! I dropped my car the next day and they gave me a beautiful loaner. Which Rusnak never offered me the last four times I had brought my 991. I received a call from Andy around 2 p.m. and told me they replaced a defective engine thermostat and the vehicle was ready for pickup! Like Wow! THANK ANDY AND L.A. PORSCHE FOR THE GREAT SERVICE!

The 991.2 Porsche 911 really is the everyday sports car. Not conspicuous but also not mundane. With so many variants available, its hard not to find a 911 that fits YOUR needs and wants. The engine is sublime, the interior is refined and well built, and the cockpit ergonomics are unmatched. After driving a 911 (any variant), any other sub-150K sports car is just Meh. One of the underappreciated aspects of using this car on a daily basis is how easy it is to live with: the outward visibility is excellent, the tech is great, and the car is comfortable on long drives. When looking for your first 911, you should consider with a well-loved 991. I prefer the "Dot 2's" because of the turbo engine and the Apple CarPlay but the 991.1's have a charm of their own and shouldn't be discounted. One of the few drawbacks to any 911 is the road noise...you will have to get used to hearing those big tires hitting the road and if you drive on rough roads the majority of the time you WILL be annoyed (maybe look at a NSX or a C8 instead). Otherwise, you will not regret the ownership experience!

It does not disappoint, the sound, the handling, the drive is amazing and so typical Porsche. Still tight after more then 10 years and 2 prior owners. Wow. Love the car and yes, found it on Cars.com

I researched 911 vs 718 for almost two years. I drove a Carrera 4S at PECATL and loved it, but I wanted to keep my budget lower. A base 911, while a great car, just did not live up to the 718's nimbleness with its mid-mounted engine. I was lucky with my find - a GTS 4.0 It drives perfectly. The storage is ample enough for a large check-in suitcase up front. You also have the rear trunk. This can be a great daily driver with next-to-nothing for maintenance aside from regular oil changes and routine maintenance check-ups. I've put close to 4k miles and it is a special occasion each time I get in.

Every visit to Mckenna has been beyond my (an OCD Porsche owner) expectations. I was in for a basic service this week and when an additional repair was needed I was immediately offered a loaner car. Wow, another fun Porsche to play with! Now I really have a (first world) problem, as Im tempted to buy a new car... Regarding the service, its simply the best choice to follow the factory recommendations AND have it done at a certified Porsche dealer. My experiences with Mel and his team (Bryce is my advisor), have always reinforced this choice. The prices are fair, and their knowledge of the product and advice are always offered with my best interest in mind. Thats important to me. Now, hopefully Ill be writing another review for the sales team soon!

GT4RS is awesome. GT3 engine in a mid-engine configuration. YES. Car is not too harsh for the street either. Car is loud inside. Buy it before its gone.

In 2016, I bought my 2017 Porsche Macan fully-loaded at Downtown L.A. Porsche. The sales experience – from test driving four different Porsche SUV and sports-car models, to the calm negotiations – was the most professional in 31 years of car-purchases. Yet, my 2019 customer service and car repair EXCEEDED this positive sales experience. The one throughline in these experiences is DTLA GM Victor Ghassemi. In short, my tires were defective and there was a battery issue. After I talked with a closer dealer who tried to upsell me roughly $3000 in repairs, I reached back to Downtown L.A. Porsche. Within 48 hours, Victor’s professional driver picked-up (and later delivered) my Macan for free. Victor took care of every issue with astonishing generosity. DTLA Porsche service representative Irwin delivered Victor’s directives with organization and timeliness. The whole experience once again made other car brands and service pale in comparison. I was comparing my end of lease option again leasing a new Porsche Macan, the salesman Jason Ha is extremely passion, helpful, and knowledgeable. He provided answers to all my questions.
