I had a very smooth buying experience at Porsche Bethesda last week. I bought a late model used Macan. A couple of minor issues arose but were quickly handled professionally by the attentive sales manager, Brian Matos. Also accolades to sales personnel Brandon Washington and Washeem. I would recommend them and this dealership.

Bought 2023 Macan T. I traded in my aging 911 for it. I did not buy another 911 because they have become too big and expensive. The Macan T is a fun car to drive if you are actively trying to drive it. The back seats are tight. The PCM is frequently confounding or crashes and won’t play any media unless you stop the car, turn it off then open the door close the door and restart it. The fit and finish is excellent. The upgraded seats are good. I can’t activate the around view monitor unless I put it into reverse. The dealer wants 300.00 to connect the my Porsche app on iPhone to the car. Porsche corporate is helpful and has normal humans that answer the phone. The PDK is fun and the exhaust has some fun subtle sounding pops. It’s like a refined hot hatch car but not really a great highway car. The base stereo is plenty good enough. Styling is top notch. Adaptive cruise works but needs supervision while using. The rear wiper appears cheap and flimsy. Should have been mounted from the top of the rear glass. The guages in the day are too dark not lit up and hard to see. The back up camera has poor resolution and has a strange perspective making it less useful. It’s a fun, clever designed expensive car with tech flaws that you have to overlook to enjoy the car. If you buy a slightly used one from a Porsche dealer you can get your warranty close to 6 years. Service is expensive probably to pay for giving you a loaner.

2nd Cayman 2.7M. Bought first New in 2006 as my daily driver. Drunk driver totaled it with 132K Miles in 2019, only repair besides normal maintenance was an Air Oil Separator at 89K Miles. Fantastic Car. Got 2014 Cayman 2.7M in 2019 with 15K Miles. 2014 is a much better car. Enjoying it at 38K Miles and will keep as long as I can drive.

I'm a retired veteran of 33 years, and I came with my daughter because I needed a car to get to work. The salesman Smittie was the absolute best. Very nice guy, very honest, and showed me exactly what I needed to see. No fast talking just a man trying help out a customer. Out of my 50 of buying cars this was one of the best car buying experiences yet. Great Job Smittie at national motors.

Recently purchased the 2020 Macan GTS, so still in 'honeymoon' phase. That said, no issues to report. Pretty amazing how the vehicle can change personalities. Can be Dr. Jeckyl - smooth, quiet, refined touring car. Click a few buttons and its Mr. Hyde - growling, fast, quick steering tall hatchback that is ready for twisting roads or highway blast. Not encountered a vehicle that does this touring/sport change as well. Another standout for the 2020 is ability to go 'old school' buttons/analog - or modern digital interfaces. Like all the buttons, once you get to know them. Quick and less distraction from road. Rear seat is snug for anyone over 6 foot. Chose this over the Audi SQ5 - but it was a close contest. GTS wins on driving dynamics, but SQ5 is a wonderful luxury experience. Hard to resist the Porsche once you drive it. Does the luxury part pretty darn well too. Wow.

My service manager Tom M is amazing at West Columbia Land Rover. Both of my Land Rovers had to go in at the same time. They go one of them back in less than 12 hours (new alternator) of going in. Then other one was ready the next day.

Quiet ride, better fuel economy than on window sticker. Center console controls are mind boggling. More storage nooks would be helpful. Owner's manual in 8 point type not very helpful.

The representative Brandon was point on point, very prompt in communication- did not play around and got me the best deal possible. All communications are very transparent. When I went to the dealership picking up the car was just a formality. They have a great team. Spoke to their manager as well. They take customer feedback very seriously. Brandon is just an amazing sales person- honest, to the point, brief and does not waste your time. And by the way, he?s very pleasant to work with. We discovered an issue when we were buying our GMC and Lucas from the Service department was right on top of the issue. He was extremely professional and a wonderful representation of his company. He verified the issue, ordered the parts and notified us when they arrived. On the day of the appointment, he was there to ensure the repairs went extremely well and answered all questions. Even though I understand this is an older model I was still disappointed that it doesn't have the bells and whistles one would expect of a Porsche. This car is lacking in, for example, many safety features, Bluetooth, voice capabilities, phone connection.... not available. The car is beautiful and we use it as a second car. Would not have purchased this car if it had been designated as our only vehicle.

Of course the cars are amazing. But it’s the team that delivers the best service that makes this dealership stand out . Truly the best .

PASM along with the AWD helps keep this one glued to the road. The 4 is Wider than a 2 the S is not necessary. All season road runner. Top down warm weather, AWD for the rest. 😎
