Quiet ride, better fuel economy than on window sticker. Center console controls are mind boggling. More storage nooks would be helpful. Owner's manual in 8 point type not very helpful.

Owned a corvette, a viper, the 911 and the boxster. I’d say the boxster s was a bit more fun to drive, and like both porsches equally for different reasons. Test drove BMWs on multiple occasions, never liked any of them. Test drove a couple of ferraris, a bit too small and expensive. Same for the NSX. Bought it 2 years old and got a great price. The targa 4s that I currently have, has some nice 911 features, including the large retractable roof, and the pop up rear window, for easy access to the back seat.

Great until the extended warranty ran out And 2023. Cost of replacing a valve and associated work was $5000. Shakes if rear windows open from wind. Aerodynamic so so.

Bought 2023 Macan T. I traded in my aging 911 for it. I did not buy another 911 because they have become too big and expensive. The Macan T is a fun car to drive if you are actively trying to drive it. The back seats are tight. The PCM is frequently confounding or crashes and won’t play any media unless you stop the car, turn it off then open the door close the door and restart it. The fit and finish is excellent. The upgraded seats are good. I can’t activate the around view monitor unless I put it into reverse. The dealer wants 300.00 to connect the my Porsche app on iPhone to the car. Porsche corporate is helpful and has normal humans that answer the phone. The PDK is fun and the exhaust has some fun subtle sounding pops. It’s like a refined hot hatch car but not really a great highway car. The base stereo is plenty good enough. Styling is top notch. Adaptive cruise works but needs supervision while using. The rear wiper appears cheap and flimsy. Should have been mounted from the top of the rear glass. The guages in the day are too dark not lit up and hard to see. The back up camera has poor resolution and has a strange perspective making it less useful. It’s a fun, clever designed expensive car with tech flaws that you have to overlook to enjoy the car. If you buy a slightly used one from a Porsche dealer you can get your warranty close to 6 years. Service is expensive probably to pay for giving you a loaner.

I absolutely love the way this car drives. You almost forget it is an SUV. Interior amenities and technology are lacking compared to comparable vehicles. There is a lack of good storage in the cabin. The options a pricy as in the Porsche tradition. You forget these things once you start driving. Since I got it, I figured a way out to make my commute an additional 5 miles each way. My purchase experience with Redwood City Porsche was a joy thanks to my sales associate Sam Pham. I always look forward to my next drive!

The service department receives high volumes of customers, but James is always ready to give his customers great service and honest assessments and results. While convenience is also a reason I take my vehicle to Koons, pricing is also competitive and I prefer using OEM parts for my vehicle.

Matthew Ryan answered the phone when I called about a pre owned vehicle at the Audi dealership. There were complications with getting my husband in whose name we had a car loan to the dealership. Matthew brought the car to our home. We did all the paper work inside with the help of George Awad on the hot day. He returned to the dealership, got the VA plates and returned. Great experience! I recently bought a ‘04 Porsche 911 Turbo site-unseen from Intersport. I’ve never bought a car this way and was pretty uncomfortable but knew I couldn’t get down there for a couple of weeks and that I wanted this car. Raj was my salesman and he was great throughout the process. He was super communicative and eager to help the whole time. He helped arrange a PPI, state injection and pick up by my transporter and each step was smooth and without issue. The car itself was as described if not better and Intersport had done a recent clutch and other work. The work was really well done according to the independent mechanic and the car is fantastic. Raj and Intersport made an otherwise nerve-racking purchase very smooth and delivered a great car.

I have owned Porsches continually over a 30 year period - 2 of them 930's. The early 80's Euro spec Turbos (I owned a 1981) were VERY tricky to drive, and the turbo came on with brutal suddeness. The later 87 - 89 Turbos are much more refined in terms of turbo boost, and engine management, yet JUST as much fun to drive. People suggest that the 89 is the best year because it had the G50 (5 speed ) transmission. I wholeheartedly disagree with this, the 1988 with Porsches' square cut geared, 4 speed, is the pure RACING transmission designed by Porsche to handle 550 HP. It is extremely robust, and basically bullet-proof unless they are abused... The 3.3 litre Turbo has TREMENDOUS torque especially for such a light car, so the extra gearing of the G50 is not necessary. As for the G50: its' only benefit was the first gear syncro whose ratio is way too low - making it almost silly to use. It is not nearly as strong as the 4 speed, which by the way, Porsche continued to use in their racing EVEN after the introduction of the G50 - that tells the whole story I think. The turbos - if you get one that has been taken care of, will provide you with years of reliable driving. All 3 of my former Porsche 911/930's I sold for more than I purchased them for. There are VERY few cars that, like a good 911/930 do more than just hold their value - especially if you can acquire a well taken care of rare model.
