Good review of a very desirable car but if you want credibility, research why the key is on the left. It's there for Le Mans starts ... remember, drivers ran across the track, jumped in the car and drove off without seatbelts fastened. Having the key on the left allowed the drivers to start the engine with the left hand and shift to first with the right - the cars were all angled off in the direction of the track so as soon as the engine started and the car was in gear, the hands would be brought back to steering.

The level of service and professionalism Josh provided far exceeded my expectations and it made my first Porsche experience very memorable. He did an exemplary job of explaining to me everything I needed to know about Porsche, the Macan and the options offered with the various trim levels. Lemme tell you about this dealership. This was THE easiest and fastest deal I have ever experienced. Bob Chitwood is the truth. I met with him on a Saturday for a test drive. By Tuesday I drove away with my new car. He handled everything little detail BEFORE I arrived to sign all of the paperwork. Everyone was super nice, knowledgeable and relaxed. Would I buy another car from them, yes. Is Bob Chitwood a thoroughly great salesman? Yes!!! In '87 traded up from my 924, a lightly used '85. Loved that car, Guards Red & 5 speed manual. Handled incredibly well, and had it up to 130 (speedometer) on the NJ Turnpike once. Wasn't the fastest but nimble made it quick and I thought really good brakes. Saw many Corvettes disappear in the rear view mirror through the twisties in rural Virginia. It did develop a drive shaft problem & expensive repair. But I did most of the maintenance myself - changed timing belt, brake pads, oil, plugs, etc.

What can I say, the benchmark of sports cars. I have a 4S Cabrio. I chose the 4 as I like all-wheel-drive, even in Florida. Better grip. The S also has more horsepower. Build quality and fit and finish our superb. The ultimate sports car without all the problems of the Italian cars. You’d be hard to find a car with better handling and Performance. The look is timeless. There’s no mistake at what you’re looking at when you see a Porsche. Great car.

One of the best sports cars available today. Comfortable daily driver with canyon carving capability. Still available with a naturally aspirated gasoline engine and a manual transmission. One of the last (mostly) analogue delights at a (relatively) affordable price.
