Great until the extended warranty ran out And 2023. Cost of replacing a valve and associated work was $5000. Shakes if rear windows open from wind. Aerodynamic so so.

Went to look at an 02 Porsche 911. Been looking around a while to find this generation/style of the 911. Came across a this particular car on the Internet. I knew it had to be somewhat decent of a car if Porsche of the Main Line had it on their lot. Made an appointment with the sales rep Brett Hagen to see the car. Brett was an amazing. He was upfront and honest with a few details about the car that needed repairing. We went out on a test drive and I was hooked! We negotiated a deal including service to get the car up to spec. The car was then handed over to a phenomenal tech named Christopher Wise. Not only did he expertly fix all the issues with the vehicle. He went above and beyond fixing other details of the car that were not part of the deal. By the time he was done, the car was near perfect, especially for its age. Brett and Chris made my Porsche buying experience great. My 911 was by far the least expensive Porsche they had on the lot. (I was surrounded by dreamy $100k - $200k Porsches and Lamborghinis) Brett, Chris, and the rest of the dealership treated me as if I was purchasing a new car. Not one single detail was missed from the buying experience. I would highly recommend Brett and Porsche of the Main Line to anybody looking for a new or used dream car.

What can you say about any 911? The one I test drove was the S. It’s just the perfect sports car. Light, just enough power to go fast, not overwhelming. Comfortable, quiet, composed at any speed. The soft top is so quiet. Almost like a regular top. With the top down, you can still hold a somewhat normal conversation at highway speeds. Just the perfect car for a cruise or fast run on a sunny day.

It is never easy shopping for a hard to find car and having to look out of state, but I instantly felt comfortable the moment I talked with Brett on the phone about my dream car that he had in his showroom - a black 997 Turbo with 25k original miles. Talking with Brett felt like I was talking to a friend or relative that was an expert car enthusiast. We shared very similar philosophies with cars and what we look for. His inventory, though small, is very impressive, and is much more about the quality of the car than having lots of cars. Brett doesn’t sell just any car. He searches all over the country for the right kind of car that meets his very detailed and strict criteria. Moral of the story, if you find a car you like in Brett’s inventory, you can rest assured that it has been meticulously chosen by him to sell at his standards. Communication with Brett was so easy, very prompt, even though he was out of the country for much of the process after getting the deal in place! I was not able to fly up to Philadelphia from TN to see the car, so I did a PPI at the local Porsche dealer that Brett arranged for the car to be dropped off for. The technician at the dealer raved about Brett and the cars he brings in. As expected, the Porsche passed the PPI with flying colors. Shipping went very smoothly. I washed it first thing and quickly found that the car was in even better condition than Brett conveyed. We had done an extensive walk-around of the vehicle via FaceTime, but the car truly was even better in person. I am in love with my 997 Turbo, but if I get the itch for something different in a few years, my first call will be to Brett at Driveanything.com to see what he has!

After 911 turbos, and then having Cayman S's, I knew I wanted a 911 NA. A GT3 version seemed to fit the bill, but I could not find any to test drive. I bought a 2018 sight unseen and when it was delivered to my house, and drove it, is when I realized: you don't know until you know. There's a reason why Chris Harris can have any car he wants, and test drives all cars, and chooses a GT3 for himself. It is quick, not as fast as a turbo, but it screams like a banshee when getting up to 9k rpms. The experience is what sells this car. It is endearing and I will not let it go. No car ADD when it comes to the GT3. After years of ownership, it has not had a single issue. Definitely recommend.

The 991 series of the 911 platform is one of their best ever. This car is a joy to drive. I did not think that I could leave the manual 6 speed of the 996 series but the PDK transmission has exceeded expectations!

I have had my '02 base 6 speed manual Carrera Coupe for about 5 years. It was a car I had checked out, but my wife bought for my 50th. I love the car. I do some "spirited drives" with a great group of folks early Sunday mornings (when the back roads are pretty empty). The car is just a blast to drive hard. I have never come close to finding its limits in terms of cornering. It can be driven quite sedately if you keep it under about 4,000 RPMs. Fine around town. Stop and go traffic is obviously a pain with any manual car, but the clutch is a little stiffer than, say, a Honda. Road trips are fine if you can fit, and it's a bit noisy on the highway from tire noise. I was interested in the 911 over a used Cayman (or Miata, etc.) because I can put my kids in the back (they are 4 and 7, and they LOVE pulling "g-forces" The main downside is this is a 22 year old car with a list of things that really need to be replaced. Not because they are broken, but just standard maintenance. I need a transmission rebuild to fix an occasional issue with 2nd gear. Rear main seal. Check the IMS bearing. Water pump. Then the suspension and engine mounts probably need to be gone over. All this is probably $12,000-$15,000. Bottom line, these 996 911s can be had for mid-20's, but it's still a Porsche. You don't get Honda-priced parts when you need to replace something.

We came down from Falmouth,Maine. Yes, it was 6 hrs one way . The Black 911 with beige interior what we drove all that way for. It was just what the website said and more. I bought my 2007 Boxster S about 6 months ago after totaling my 4x4 off-road truck. It was a massive change for me to switch over to a roadster, but I couldn’t be happier I made the switch. I purchased the car with 58k miles on it. Lots of Porsche owners say that’s a ton of miles for the cars, but mine feels just as tight, spirited, and smooth as some of the newer model Boxsters that I test drove. I haven’t had any issues with the car after putting about 5k miles on it, but I did have to replace the clutch, flywheel, clutch bearings, and pressure plate about a week after I bought it. I knew the clutch was worn out, so I worked that into the purchase price. I also had to replace a horn that went out. No biggie. The clutch on any manual will wear out after a while, and the previous owner either didn’t know how to drive a manual properly, or just rode it hard. I was pleased to find out that the 2007 Boxster S doesn’t suffer from the IMS issues earlier models did. I asked my mechanic to check it out while they were replacing the clutch, and he told me it was a non-issue in 2007+ models. I take it out for a drive every evening with the top down (it’s summer in ATL GA), and I can’t stop smiling driving it around. It’s the only car I’ve owned that I get excited about simply driving it to the grocery store. It certainly limits what I can go pick up at Home Depot, but to be honest, it has a surprising amount of storage space considering it’s a two person roadster. Sure it’s older... but owning one, I never feel like I’m driving a 12 year old car. Drives and handles better than 99.9% of 2019 sports cars I test drove before taking a chance on a 987 Boxster S. I did end up replacing all the speakers and audio head unit with a CarPlay enabled one, and installed a small subwoofer. The original Bose speakers were pretty bad. It sounds amazing now, even with the top down. I couldn’t be happier! I hope it lasts another 100k+ miles so I never have to stop driving it.

Recently purchased the 2020 Macan GTS, so still in 'honeymoon' phase. That said, no issues to report. Pretty amazing how the vehicle can change personalities. Can be Dr. Jeckyl - smooth, quiet, refined touring car. Click a few buttons and its Mr. Hyde - growling, fast, quick steering tall hatchback that is ready for twisting roads or highway blast. Not encountered a vehicle that does this touring/sport change as well. Another standout for the 2020 is ability to go 'old school' buttons/analog - or modern digital interfaces. Like all the buttons, once you get to know them. Quick and less distraction from road. Rear seat is snug for anyone over 6 foot. Chose this over the Audi SQ5 - but it was a close contest. GTS wins on driving dynamics, but SQ5 is a wonderful luxury experience. Hard to resist the Porsche once you drive it. Does the luxury part pretty darn well too. Wow.
