Used cars for sale near Rankin, IL under $15,000

2018 2.0T AWD with 172k miles on it and it is going STRONG. Bought it used with 31k miles. Zero major issues but I've maintained it religiously, oil and transmission oil changed regularly. Spark plugs and coils had to be switched out at 130k miles but that's expected. Transmission is running strong and still sounds as great as the day I bought it.

Bought this CRV AWD Touring new in 2019. Have 130,000 miles on it, no problems. Only time it’s at the dealership is for regular service. Gets 33 to 36 MPG . Excellent vehicle!

I'd like to update my previous review describing my disappointment with the way Autotown responded to my daughter bringing in her recently purchased car with a service light on. I truly appreciate Ben Dyer, the owner, responding to my initial review and stating that they will again look at my daughter's car and evaluate it for repair. I did some further talking with my daughter and I think where I/we misunderstood the dealer's willingness to address again is that she won't be back to the area again for 3 weeks and she thought that made her ineligible to have the dealer consider the issue further. I also consulted with a dealer/service manager and they agreed that the code(s) could have been cleared before Autotown took the car as a trade. I'm hopefully optimistic that when my daughter and the car are back in Champaign in 3 weeks, we can get some answers/resolutions on the issue (note we're told the code/issue shouldn't be impacted by waiting the 3 weeks since she uses a car very little while at school). So for those who read ratings, I'll update and re-review after we take it in for service consult in 3 weeks with Autotown and their garage.

This is my fourth Explorer. I decided in 2018 to order the top-of-the-line Platinum. This vehicle has all the bells and whistles for a person that wants the luxury of one of Fords top models. It has Platinum leather seats that are very comfortable. If you can find today, buy it. It has the 3.5L V6 that has great power on acceleration. You can only buy a V6 now on the 2025 Explorer ST which is a 3.0L. The cost is around $60,000 Loaded.

I purchased my Sentra SV with 45,000 miles on it. After 5:years, it has been a rock of dependability and gets outstanding gas mileage (43-45 mpg with the ECO mode.) I've only had to replace the battery and front brake pads and it has 76,099 miles. It may not be the sportiest car, but it's comfortable and gets 29-33 mpg around town.

Took me while before I could make this review, but please note that this is my experience dealing with AutoTown, while dealing with autotown, I’ve only really had the chance to meet 2 workers there… Kevin and Ben, I believe Ben is the owner, my first experience with Kevin he helped me get into a used 2019 Buick Regal…. Honestly I love the car one of the best cars ived ever owned and with the price it was worth it! With only 52k miles on it I thought I was gettin an amazing deal but after having the car for a few days I realized that it had an issues with the gas pedal…. I contacted auto town to let them know about the issues and they immediately had me bring the car back so they could figure out the problem…. After weeks of trying to track the problem there was no real luck of fixing the issues so they owner Ben gave me the opportunity to switch into a different vehicle! Even tho I loved the 2019 Buick Regal I honestly feel like I got a Wayyyy better deal by switching to the 2019 Chrysler 300 all Black with the tinted windows! Ben worked with me on the numbers so that all of equity that I had from the other car went into the Chrysler! Ived had the Chrysler for about 2 months now and I’m loving the car I’m able to pick up my kids out of town about 2 hours away, make it back and forth too work with no issues, take comfortable joy rides without any issues. I honestly love the car and I’m glad that I picked AutoTown for my vehicle, I’ve recommended to a few of my coworkers to get a car from here and honestly I’m pretty sure I’ll get my next car from here too! And I forgot to mention while I was having troubles with the Buick I had to leave the car with AutoTown for a few days while they track down the problem, they were nice enough to give me a loaner car until I got my vehicle back! So if you’re looking for a good reliable dealership to get a car I’ll definitely check out AutoTown you won’t regret it! I’ve had my 2019 trax 52k miles for almost 3 years, absolutely love the car no problems so far(knock on wood) only small minor inconvenience a ground wire got a little dusty and was cleaned. I have done the pcv fix as Chevy did not make it good for these engines in the long run. Not a lot of power for my liking so I modified some components. Not very friendly for tall people im 6’3 and have my seat set almost all the way back.

I could test the car for almost an hour, the owner of the store is fairly nice, and we reached an agreement very quick.

I bought this car used from friend they did have motor problem but they bought it new so kia replaced motor and my daughter drove it couple years then when she graduated I took Kia and bought her new car for her and grandkids and I have been happy with it. It's my everyday car because it gets great MPG. It's got 160k miles about 50K on new motor. So far no issues just keep her up to date on oil changes and stuff. It's 1st Kia I ever owned and I would definitely give them another go if time to buy another vehicle.

I bought it used fron Carvana with 49000 miles on it. When it had around 100,000 miles on it i had to replace the middle 2 coils. I did it myself for $100 each. Took me 30 minutes on each one. It now has 137000 miles on it and the check engine light has been on since 110000 indicating a "failing turbo". It shows no signs of failing and continues to run good. just drove it from Florida to Texas and back (1800 miles) It ran good. I have had 4 Buicks and very little trouble with them. I would definitely recommend this car. Beautiful and easy care- just change oil ecery 5000 miles and it keeps going.

I bought my 2017 Toyota Rav 4 from Seth Humrichous at Toyota of Danville. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for but Seth was able to locate one at another location. Needless to say, Toyota has made many changes and safety improvements since I bought my 2002 Rav 4. Seth took the time to go every feature with me and he didn't forget about me as soon as I drove off. He has contacted me a couple of times to see if I had any questions. I love driving my new Rav 4.

I love my 2013 RAV4. It runs great. I haven’t had any problems with it. The key is to always keep up the maintenance Toyota makes the best cars.

These guys know what real customer service is! Bought a used Ram 1500 from Courtesy, had everything i wanted and more. They told me it was in need of an oil change, which they hadn't been able to do yet since it was a recent trade-in, so they scheduled me to bring it in for that and an open recall. When the work was done, a service dept associate came at me with a list of other work it needed, brakes and fluid flushes and such. Said it all added up to over $1200! I immediately thought i was getting played, same old game. But, without hesitation, he said we should go talk to the sales manager since i just purchased this truck a few days ago. And, with hardly any discussion at all, they agreed to take care of all of it at no expense! I'm not paying a dime! That is true customer service, and something none of us see anymore. I traded in my 2015 Mustang Gt with 127,000 miles on it for a 2017 TAURUS SHO ,,that was the only car I wanted to replace the horsepower I had in the Mustang Gt @435hp I knew that the TAURUS SHO has 365hp ...70 horsepower less than the V8 .THATS all I needed to satisfy my need for power. The 2017 Taurus SHO had 73,000 the ride is great and the car is roomy just enough for me It was bigger than i thought if you look at the stance of the car you see it's aggressive sport appearance with a huge trunk space 20 inch wheels . The accessories ohh wow let's just say it's Little brother's SE,SEL,and LIMITED don't have what the SHO has plus AWD .Ive Had the FORD FIVE HUNDRED LIMITED which was a great car didn't care for the lack of horsepower in such a big car 3.0 with 203 hp. The Taurus SHO is a sleeper sports sedan it has lots of accessories that many European cars have for that year (2017) and it can beat an AUDI A5 The TAURUS SHO was FORD FASTEST SEDAN.

I've owned dozens and dozens of car and this one has impressed me the most. Tons of power from the V6, typical Toyota reliability, very ergonomic, and very capable. I've hauled weight in this thing that would rival any truck and pulled a trailer that was double it's load rating. I can't say enough good things about it CONS: Brakes are just two small for this weight! The side opening rear door

I do have a problem with the hood,because I have rust on the edges .I don't think I should have to worry about rust on the xxxx hood.

I recently bought a 2020 Elantra with very low miles (39k). It looks great, like new, and drives like a large sedan should. And the gas mileage is great! Driving around town yesterday it got 37 mpg in normal traffic, when the spec is 30. And on the freeway I was getting well over 57 mpg on a very slight, non-visible decline at 77 mph. It "feels" comfortable. My only knock so far is the information on the center console could be brighter and I haven't figured out how to make it yet. The owner's manual was not included in the sale.

The Encore offers a very quiet and smooth ride. It has the get up and go when needed and handles really well. Drivers seating position is great for tall or short people but the seats aren't geared towards (wide) people, no disrespect intended. The car isn't very wide and the interior shows it. Driver and front passenger must share the one armrest on the driver's seat. A/C & heating knobs are not illuminated makes them hard to see at night. Back seat room is OK. Storage area good for groceries but not much else unless you raise the rear seat and lower the seat back. Doing this we were able to get a new mower in the box inside without any problem. Almost 30,000 miles with only regular oil changes and tire rotations. No mechanical issues at all! One of the best cars we have owned. Not to mention we bought it new while offered at $10000 of of list price!

Vehicle handles well easy to park and maneuver I don’t like the fuel tank capacity very small also I don’t like the fact it has no spare tire unless you purchase it for three hundred plus you offer a air compressor which is great for a slow leak but don’t get a blow out in the boondocks you’ll be screwed. I don’t think a space saver spare will break the bank.
