I found the vehicle I had been looking for online. A lower mileage Honda Ridgeline. The proprietor, Ehab had the foresight to offer Carfax for this vehicle. This afforded me the opportunity to view the history of the vehicle, which in review of said Carfax, found me interested. Calling, contact was made and the vehicle was discussed. I live in northern Nevada well over 500 miles from St Wannas car dealership I arraigned for my mechanically inclined nephew living in Riverside to venture to the dealership. There a test drive was afforded, questions were answered, and a deal was struck. Ehab expedited the paperwork which was valid with what was discussed and what was reported on Carfax. A test of faith was made wiring a substantial sum and soon I received the paperwork i.e. title etc. Shipping, another concern was coordinated by Ehab, and he paid an agreed amount/portion for this. Also, on his dime, he put new tires on it as well as a new battery. My nephew, who was my eyes looking at the vehicle stated Ehab was professional and true to his word about the condition of the vehicle. The vehicle was slow to get here but that was not his fault we had our biggest snowstorm of the year which delayed arrival. It got here in fine shape. While we were closing the deal I told him we missed the citrus fruit from the area, in that we lived down there years ago and knew what good citrus was all about. In the back of the vehicle were some oranges and comquats! In conclusion, I think his business at least in my experience, offers a service to the community for fair priced vehicles and amiable salesmanship. My nephew and his wife who gave the purchased vehicle his inspection said, yes, he would even consider St Wannas in the future, if he was looking for a quality used car. I like horse power but I don't want to give up reliability. My 2012 9.0 RS Scion xB fits the bill. ( By the way they only come in Hot Lava color ) Bought it two years ago, and since then it's never failed to start & run. I always keep it well maintained, and I've had three dealerships offer to buy it from me, ( so they can sell it for thousands more) it has 135k miles which is just breaking a Toyota/Scion in. My only complaint is: I wish Toyota put in the 180hp 2.5 Camry motor in it - it has the 2.4 158hp motor stock. I can chirp the tires off the line, it's so quick down low, but mid range and up high its average. Lord Willing I plan on keeping it. Next car will be as reliable and a little faster. Hard to find anything better than the xB in that regard..

Almost perfect. One shortcoming is low gas mileage for this market segment. However the car has lots of spunk and acceleration. Needs a variable or ten speed transmission to improve mileage. Otherwise amazing car.

Pickup guy turned xb dude. Getting on the highway? No problem. Roomy? Surprisingly! Handles like a go cart in the best sense. Your town approving ridiculously tight parking lots at box store campuses? A snap! Ranch roads? Please. (Mine isn't lowered like my kid's) All my friends could not believe I bought one! If I bought one, you should give it a shot! Lastly, it don't kill my back like all other cars seem to. 4 hour trip to S.F. Let's go!

This 2013 Rs10 is my second Scion xB. My first was a 2006 gen1 Polar White that I drove for 17 years and 160k flawless miles before trading in for the gen2 Release Series. Great car! Reliable, sporty and stylish. Tons of occupant and cargo room. Plenty of power and decent mileage (avg 24 combined) with auto trans. Very roomy and versatile car. The 10 year Anniversary Release Series RS10 has unique RS only features: LED solar lighted shift knob, carbon fiber dash panels with EL (electro-luminescent) Scion and RS10 logos, graphite colored alloy wheels, cool blue LED light up “vehicle finder” front & rear Scion logos and RS only floor mats to name a few. And that killer “Silver Ignition” RS only paint! Its a medium silver with a gold pearl fog that just glows and changes in the sun! Its look and color are unmistakeable once you see it on the road! Loving this second gen xB! I am positive that it will serve me as well as my gen1 with another 150k easily…its a Toyota!

I have a 2008 and my hood hinge never worked well hood fly up I had to replace the entire hood. Now engine fails. Oil leaking terribly

I used to have a 2005 xB but it was stolen years ago, since then been through a Honda which my daughter now owns and own a 2016 Corolla which is my wifes, I bought a Lexus Is300 and car was just getting too old. Enter 15 years later I was looking for an small SUV and I ran across this gem. 2015 Scion XB in Red with Every TRD option, from the 19" Rims to TRD Exhaust, TRD springs, swaybars, Upgraded alarm with glass break sensors, Upgraded Bespoke Audio with Navigation, Auto Dimming mirror and remote start and optional rear spoiler. Car belonged to a Toyota corporate employee so they packed on the options and as a one owner car it only had 32,000 miles. Wow! Did I mention the car is Red! Took this car on a trip from El paso to San Antonio and from reviews they say gas mileage is so-so, I was actually surprised as this car used almost 3/4 of the 14 gallon tank from el paso to san antonio. Kept it under 75 to 70mph. Lots of room for the kids and plenty of luggage space and with the way this car came setup with all the options it doesnt look like the ordinary xB. Get alot of compliments as the whole car is TRD'd out. Sporty, practical, good looking, great handling, roomy, comfortable seats and Full Pioneer stereo from the factory and did I mention its a Toyota engine under the hood. Win Win. Love this car. If you can find one of these thats well taken care of get it. These cars can last upwards in the 400,000 mile range, seen some with 389,000 miles and I was sold that they are still on the road.

My 2008 Scion xb has been an incredibly good car. Nothing has ever needed fixing except new tires, and brakes wore down. Kind of expected in 12 years of daily use! I have hauled a 4 x 8 sheet of plywood (with the hatch open) a dining room table and so many other large cumbersome items it is crazy. Tall people have often commented on how much head room in my car. Two oddnesses that haven't been troublesome but are strange: First, there is only one back-up light. That's how it was designed. Second, there is only one key hole in the entire four-door car and that is in the driver's door. Not things I would recommend in car design but very minor compared to 12 years of worry free driving and 8 years of no car payments!

One of the best reliable cars then and now even though the Scion brand is done and that’s too bad but the Toyota brand has always had my attention then and now never had any problems with both of them and when I decide on a new car like new Corolla and hybrid Camry both cars will allow me to retire from my job in about one year and retire into the sunset in a great car

We found a [surprisingly] sought-after example of a Honda Element at Midwest Auto, for our son - four hours away from our home. A 22yr old car, with over 100k miles on the odo. I expected a decent car with some issues, for what I paid. Instead, I got the cleanest Vtec the local, mobile mechanic had ever seen. He climbed all over that car for 1.5 hours and thoroughly drove and code tested it - both past/recent codes and “likely fail” codes. I have a four year old, bought-new minivan that wouldn’t have tested that clean. I drove the four hours home with no trepidation whatsoever. I feel like I stole this car. The mechanic told me that he sees a lot of “good cars” come out of Midwest. Not only was the sale easy, no-pressure and quick, (as we knew what we wanted), they were accommodating and incredibly friendly. I’ve owned a lot of cars and after what I experienced, I would buy from this dealer sight-unseen and ship with no fear. ANY used car WILL have some issues - new ones do now! - but this one doesn’t need anything but what anyone should do for any car. It’s getting a fresh alignment and a new battery. That’s it. This is easily the cleanest decades-old ride I’ve ever bought. Five stars.

It's fun, quick, versatile, fuel efficient, "fun" looking and I would drive it myself to anywhere for work or fun and my teenager hates that he's about to get his license and I'm selling it! LOL Toyota and Scion made a great team here. This should never have been discontinued...or the scion brand. This was their best car all around.

I had wanted a Scion XB for years. I finally bought a 2011 in 2020 Scion XB was discontinued in 2015. That is why I bought used. I love it.

What can I say about my experience at Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Kissimmee I can tell you one thing. Cory took his time with me and help me get into the best rate and the best vehicle for me and my family. It did not feel like Cory was out for a sale it felt like he truly wanted to help me and which he did. Love the interior space. Exterior looks - great. Handles fine. decent MPG - 25.8 . USB in the console very inconvenient. 1 12V accessory plug is not enough, BTW. Radio is pretty nice, the NAV is meh. not intuitive - code for probably it is smarter than me. Good visibility if you remove rear headrests. Leisurely performance.

Scions are amazing cars. Very roomy, reliable, and has all the comforts I needed. Great cargo space and sound system was adequate. It drives smoothly and never gave me any mechanical issues that weren’t routine maintenance items. My previous car was also a scion XB and I was T-bones by a drunk driver in a Ford F-150 running a red light at 60mph And my car was smashed, but I was totally fine. No major injuries. I credit my life to the car that night. Highly recommend scion.

We bought a 2023 Tahoe with about 9,000 miles on it. The dealership was honest and trustworthy, they made a promise and kept their word!!! I would and will use them again and encourage all my friends and family to do the same!!!

My Scion Xb is 12 now and acts like the champ it was in 2011. It was a lease car so I don't know how it was treated day to day. Yes, the milage was a little high. The paint job is something to see also. It's metallic amethyst (purple). I got it for 12k because of it's history. It was also a dealers online bate car. I love it all around. No major problems in 12 years.

I owned the 22008 and it met all my needs. Fast off the mark, great gas mileage and compares with most SUVs for space. The areas of the engine I need to get to (oil wiper fluid air filter) are not hidden and easily accessed. Great in Wisconsin winter.

Unexpectedly Surprised! Jim, aka Turk, the 2nd generation owner of Diamond Jim’s is a 10 out of 10 and if the scale was out of 100, he would be a 100 out 100. Here’s my story: I have had over 35 Corvettes and had been looking for a 2015 Corvette - Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic - convertible - 7 speed manual for 18 months and finally found one and it was at Diamond Jim’s in Milwaukee, WI. I called and spoke with Jim and he suggested that we FaceTime and we did for it a good 20 minutes. Car was great except the tires were a little worn … not a problem … I put a deposit down and scheduled a flight from Southwest Florida to Milwaukee with the plans of driving it back 1,430 miles! 🤪 I have never flown cross country to buy a car before so I was a little nervous to say the least. We arrived at Diamond Jim’s and met Jim … the car was everything he said it was and better (fair price too)! This is when things turned to the unbelievable and quiet frankly, shocking … Jim said he felt uneasy selling me the Corvette with the slightly worn tires so he replaced them with brand new OEM exact factory replacement Michelin tires!! I have another, identical Corvette and recently replaced the tires on that one for a whopping $2,000!! 🫣 Jim apologized for not giving me a full tank of gas (it was 1/2 full) … I said, “Let me see, a full tank of gas or $2,000 worth new tires!!” He laughed and said the construction in front of his dealership prevented him from filling up the tank! He’s a true gentleman. Then, to add to this amazing person that I just met, Jim called us about 2 hours later during our drive home making sure that we were doing OK!! Lastly, we plan on buying another car within the next year and there is no doubt that we will call Jim, take his word for the description of the car, pay for it and ship it to Florida … we drove the 1,430 miles in 28 hours and we don’t plan on doing it again! 😁 I have been buying cars since the late 1970’s and I have never had a better experience than I did with Jim at Diamond Jim’s and I give them the highest recommendation possible!! 👍

This is the third XB that I have owned. An ' 06, '11 & 14. Only down side, it should get better gas mileage, but I currently get about 29-30. Has more room than people think. Wish they were still for sale!

So far i feel it was a wise purchase. The car is very clean inside and outside. Mileage is low for a car of this year. Love the color and the overall design of the Scion. I am glad i showed up at the car lot when i did it very well may have been gone if i had been a day later. Thanks to everyone at Superior Kia for making sure my buying process went very smoothly.

I'm an out of state buyer who is willing to gamble. I was looking for the best specimen of a particular older car which I didn't need-but wanted. I went into this with the attitude I was willing to spend a couple of thousand extra to get eveything right. The car was a one owner 2009 Florida car with 74K miles. The body and paint was in incredible condition. I spent an additional $1500 for a new suspension and to replace degraded window rubber seals neither of which was absolutely necessary-but I like to have things right. The car now looks and runs like 2 year old car-people are shocked when I tell them it is 15 years old! This is the second -and probably last car I will purchase online. I got burned on a previous online purchase-but this was an impulse buy which I could afford to risk and only time will tell if I made out Ok. But for now, I'm pleased. All this being said, Emron was true to his word and even came through with the missing owners manual a couple of weeks later. As of now, I consider my experience was good one.

OK, so I use this car more like a work truck for several several rentals. Super cheap to maintain means I have more cash for more rentals. This can easily tow my 4x8ft utility trailer which sees use about 3x/week. The heaviest load was 1600lbs of plaster debris (you weigh in/out at the landfill). 2.4L is a LARGE 4 cylinder. One of the biggest in any car, so lots of power for a small car. I wanted this as I was towing A LOT. Trash, yard waste, demo debris, new cabinets, drywall, flooring, anything. Super low maintenance and I work this car really REALLY hard. Use it weekly to cut grasses all over town. Bought it at $6k w/110k miles back in 2017 and now have 165k miles on it, Sept 2020. Only do oil changes every 10k miles (full synthetic). I have the cheapest insurance and put the cheapest gas in her and she always is up for the day's work. Or i could have blown $50k on a truck that would be much harder to maneuver in the city when I cut grass. I know this is true cause I bought a 2019 F150 last year. It's great but I do more work with this car. The truck means more in gas, more in insurance, more in tires, more space in garage, more more more more!! Wait until you're really established to buy one of those. It literally sits in the garage about 4 days/week. I've thought about Ubering in the winter but it's really dirty on the inside currently. Haven't cleaned it since a huge 400sqft Attic finishing job, complete gut of kitchen and bath at a different job, and a big 2nd story deck job. If this car were clean it's the perfect Uber car. Mods, $250 stereo with Apple carplay, satellite radio, trailer hitch. I used to own a 2005 xb and I think I liked that more, only cause of the better MPG. I used to get 32mpg always, now i'm about 27, 24 with the trailer. Seems ok in the snow. In mid-michigan we have about 4 days a year where I can't drive this, or well, shouldn't try to drive it.
