Great used car. A little cramped for the driver. Wish the seat had adjustment for height. Otherwise I love the reliability and MPG (average combined 36-38 with a stick). Very practical and can haul a decent amount of gear. Bought mine in 2020 with 89K and now have 122k only needing snow tires for the New England winter.

Best car I have ever had ,I bought it 9yrs ago not 1 problem till now and the brake system has gone crazy been trying to fix it for 8 months,replaced all parts still no brakes! I'm so broken hearted about it,I love this little car

The little thing is GREAT. Its quiet. It has power. It's roomy has plenty of space. The stereo works great. The gas mileage is BETTER THAN AVERAGE. ITS WELL WORTH BUYING. The car is roomy, seats fold completely flat and will fold down one at a time or both them at the same time. Has 6 air bags. You have plenty room in the back to stretch your legs. You can pack this little car with a lot of stuff med small and some large items. You can put 5 foot long items on one side and up to 3 foot wide if shorter than 5 foot. Dependable reliable cost effective maintenance is average basic oil changes and filter filters and the other as right tranny service coolant blush is as it needed it is a excellent vehicle for its price

I drove it mostly, & I liked it. My husband drove it one day& got T-Boned by another car. The Scion was impressive. He survived without life long injuries. Considering another Scion,but wondering if I would have problem s maintaining a discontinued model.????

I bought new in 2013. Its a good reliable car. Its now 10 yrs old and I probably could get 10 More years. Very low maintenance. Just normal things like reg oil changes and tune ups. My only complaints are a rough ride. I suggest getting one size larger in tires. That helps with road noise. Its a tight fit up front. Not much elbow room with a passenger and seats are very hard . I suggest buying padded seat covers. Would I buy another ? Dont think so. I need more comfort

I bought this car brand new in 2008, manual transmission, and still own this car today. The car has 168,000 miles on it and has required some basic repairs, several ignition coils needed replacing, I've only changed the battery once. I had to replace the catalytic converter last year because I live in CA and failed a smog test. Beyond that, no issues whatsoever. In the 14 years I've owned the car I've probably put about $2000 into repairs not including tire replacements and oil changes. It's great for parallel parking too, just so easy to fit where most cars can't. Fun to zip around town in. Way roomier on the inside than what you'd expect from the outside. I've fit some crazy furniture in here thanks to the hatchback style. I absolutely love this car and hope to have it a few more years.

My 2008 xD now has over 230,000 miles on it. Today marks the second time the check engine light has come on. It was a bad ignighter, and I think it's the same problem now. Tomorrow will tell.

I bought this car new in 2008 and still own it. I haven't had a single issue with it mechanically. It is made by Toyota and has a Toyota engine (same as Corolla) so it is a very reliable car. Mine is the release series, which has lowered springs and rides a bit rough, but that's to be somewhat expected in a small car. The interior is much more roomy than you'd expect. I can fit a 8 foot long 2x4's (or most 8 foot boards) in it. It literally goes from the hatch to the dash but it does fit. I added a sway bar which helped a lot. Handling is good, it's quick enough to get around in traffic, decent on gas. If you drive fast the mpg can get a little low. But under normal driving it doesn't do bad. Overall if you don't mind small cars this would be a great buy and should get you years of Toyota reliability.

ok on gas ( 25 to 32 ) local road some highway grocery and commuting. has 159k miles , everything works, tires are a pain . should be using 14 inch tires but 17 on a little car ???!!!!
