We bought this car new in 2011. It is currently at the mechanic shop to have a full inspection. We have performed only routine maintenance to the car - brakes, wipers, oil. I replaced the battery this year just as a precaution. The only work will be to correct intermittent dash warning lights, so replacing the rear wheel seals/bearings to deal with an ABS sensor issue. My wife loves her car and wants to get a lot more years out of it.

Best car I have ever had ,I bought it 9yrs ago not 1 problem till now and the brake system has gone crazy been trying to fix it for 8 months,replaced all parts still no brakes! I'm so broken hearted about it,I love this little car

For teenagers who are about to get their leaners permit, i say this is the perfect first car. Its slow i know, but it will prevent your kids from speeding lol. Its very reliable, that i bought another xB. now i have a 2006 and 2005 Scion xB. I had my 2006 since 2007, at 30k miles. Now it has 411k miles with the same engine, transmission and head gasket. Whats crazier, is i just changed my original alternator from 2005 2 weeks ago on my 2006! My 2006 is just a regular car, a auto transmission. my 05, which i bought on November, is a manual sports car. It has a rare exhaust manifold, a chevy straight pipe camero piping and tiping, coming out from the middle of the rear bumper, which is very loud despite it being a slow car. I just gave it a spoiler, new stereo, new seat covers, new halogen spider headlights, new interior underglow, and pretty soon, i will give it a new paint!! I love Scion!!

I bought my 2006 XA in 2019 with 112,000 miles on it. It has a little over 300,000 miles on it now. I change my oil every 3,000/3,500 miles. I have replaced the plugs once when I first bought it, and put new brake pads on it. I just now put new rotors and brake pads on it too. The air has worked great this whole time. It is a 5 speed manual, and the clutch is still doing good. Great car. My guess is about 33 MPG overall. I love this car. I'm looking to buy another one.

I drove it for over 250k miles, still drives good and have no problem with it. I definitely recommend this car if you want reliability and a little fun. Not too much power but saves gas.

2006 manual transmission Scion TC!!! Best most reliable fun car I have ever owned!!! I have owned this vehicle since it was delivered to the dealership in August of 2005 and drove it off the lot with 3 miles on the odometer!! It now has 270,000 miles on it and runs and drives like it only has 20,000 miles on it!! Superb Japanese engineering in every aspect of this vehicle!! 17 years now and this car has never broken down on me and left me on the side of the road! I’ve been the only one to perform all maintenance and repairs if needed and anything that needed replacement was normal parts like brakes, struts, alternator. I use only high quality engine oil and trans gear oil and everything runs almost like new still. I finally had to replace the clutch recently but it was just because the dampeners on the clutch disc had finally had enough of the heat from the engine and the clutch disc pads still had about 75% of the pads left at 265,000 miles. Even though that was all that was failing on the clutch system I did still replace the flywheel, pressure plate, clutch disc and throw-out/release bearing. I literally feel this car has at least another 200,000 miles that can be put on it before any bigger problems would arise. This think is a tank of a vehicle and if well maintained will literally keep going and going for you! Buy one if you can find one that was well maintained!!!

Best car I ever owned. Put 300,000 miles on it. No major breakdowns only change the master cylinder one time was the main costly thing at about $350 so it to a friend at $300,000 he put another $187,000 mi on it only changing parts for the air conditioner before he decided to junk it at 487, 000 not fancy but extremely reliable

I bought this car brand new in 2008, manual transmission, and still own this car today. The car has 168,000 miles on it and has required some basic repairs, several ignition coils needed replacing, I've only changed the battery once. I had to replace the catalytic converter last year because I live in CA and failed a smog test. Beyond that, no issues whatsoever. In the 14 years I've owned the car I've probably put about $2000 into repairs not including tire replacements and oil changes. It's great for parallel parking too, just so easy to fit where most cars can't. Fun to zip around town in. Way roomier on the inside than what you'd expect from the outside. I've fit some crazy furniture in here thanks to the hatchback style. I absolutely love this car and hope to have it a few more years.

Highly motivated sales crew. Went the extra mile to get me into a car I was interested in. Took a test drive. Found an issue. Went back. Car went straight into their shop. Turned out a wire had come loose (the car had been on their lot for several weeks; hard to say what happened), but they fixed it. Took another test drive. Everything was good. The next day I closed the deal. In fact, they had sold me a car by the time a big-time Pittsburgh dealer emailed me to say the car I was interested in through them wasn't available. Got the car home, had a local shop put it up on a rack because of a strange noise. Underneath, the car was *extremely clean*. My guess was two new tires, but it looked like this dealer had put new brakes on both axles as well. The strange noise -- a dust shield had gotten bent somehow, and was rubbing. Overall, the car I bought was how they described it on this site. Pleasant to deal with. These folks really want to sell you a car! I would purchase from them again.

This car surpassed my expectations and i look forward to its durability and riding in style. Although i today the staff provided me with the confidence of knowing this was a great selection.

I've had this car for 2 years with my dealer and only had one issue replacing the throttle body. Big expense but worth it. Easy to maintain car. Mostly electric is some areas but I love the worker bee approach for the car. Small but roomy. I still prefer the Nissan cube but this one is close. I'm on the plus size side so roominess is important. There just aren't enough cup holders lol.

Jimbo. -Updating my Review! Bought my 2005 Xa with 159k miles. - I just crossed 190k! NEVER an Engine Light... Yet. I do use the Basic FIXED OBT2 and Blue Driver OBT2. No Codes on them either. Using Mobile One Syn, Royal Purple... 5w-30w and best filters to match at 7k intervals. Oil is still "honey-colored" after 7k. Good Air filters too. Getting the brakes checked tomorrow. No issues... just a rear brake creaking. That's the only issue I have to this point. STILL... NO OIL USEAGE between oil changes. No Coolant added since Fluid replace at 159k. Averaging 37.2 MPG on 75% Highway Driving. Scion rated 32/37 Originally. I am using Non-Ethanol Fuel however. I love this car! Hitting a deer and getting only a thousand bucks in value does worry me. I love this little Scion Bug... more than my wife!!! -More Reliable!

Had any old 2006 scion coupe with 126,000 miles for 3 years. It was in mint condition inside and out. Only payed $6000 for it. Never had one problem until someone crashed into me, them problem and the car was totaled. Really a good car and fun to drive. I wish I could find another deal like that one.

This is my 2nd great experience at Roseville Auto Sales. My first great experience was about 3 years ago. Todd also helped me last time, and I'd been in communication with Matt via email. However, I had just purchased a nice 2000 Ford Focus from there that had been on their lot for awhile, but I did the research beforehand so knew the history of the car etc, so knew what I was getting into. They're always laid back there, and you ask for keys for whatever car(s) you want to test drive, and you can take your time inspecting under hood, starting them, then test driving them. Once you make up your mind on a purchase, all the paperwork takes less than 30 minutes and you're out the door. Thank you Todd and Matt for a very pleasant experience, I'll be back again in a couple years. They did mention they've been open 29 years roughly and have sold over 29,000 cars, which I believe, they stay pretty busy and overall have a very good selection of cars, a lot have high miles but some have moderate miles and are very reasonable. I like horse power but I don't want to give up reliability. My 2012 9.0 RS Scion xB fits the bill. ( By the way they only come in Hot Lava color ) Bought it two years ago, and since then it's never failed to start & run. I always keep it well maintained, and I've had three dealerships offer to buy it from me, ( so they can sell it for thousands more) it has 135k miles which is just breaking a Toyota/Scion in. My only complaint is: I wish Toyota put in the 180hp 2.5 Camry motor in it - it has the 2.4 158hp motor stock. I can chirp the tires off the line, it's so quick down low, but mid range and up high its average. Lord Willing I plan on keeping it. Next car will be as reliable and a little faster. Hard to find anything better than the xB in that regard..

I have a 2008 and my hood hinge never worked well hood fly up I had to replace the entire hood. Now engine fails. Oil leaking terribly

This car is great for city driving and parking. It's great on MPG, which saves money on gas. Ride is comfortable, inside is spacious for people and storage.

I purchased my Scion TC 2006 in 2006 with 14,000 miles on it; until now has 254,000 miles on it, and it still runs excellent the only issue I had was replacing the alternator several times, and the started twice other than that, it still runs perfectly fine. Does someone know how long a Scion can last in miles?

I bought a 2010 lexus sh250s, it had a bad window motor and trunk latch. The owner said is was willing to fix it, if I bought the car. That week the part came in and it was fix immediately. I would definitely buy another car from here . Another thing I didn't deal with any of the b.s you will find at 90% car lot and they didn't have crazy fees !!

My 07 tc has 135000 miles on it. I change the oil regularly and keep up on scheduled maintenance so it's still able to do the 90 mph on the freeway. My only complaint is the cheap plastic material they apolstered the bucket seats with. Being the third owner of this vehicle The seats are showing some ware that is evident of how this cloth was manufactured.

Bought 2005 Scion XA a little over a year ago (159k). Test Drove and plugged in OBT2. No Codes. It had a long Carfax list of Regular Repair. Drove like a dream. Now at 175k... No Codes... No issues. I've put about $1800 in TLC... and highest quality Syn Oil... basic stuff. I expect 400k from the Simple Scion (Toyota) 5-Speed Manual. Saw one TODAY in a parking lot... Same exact model! I talked to the Owner. She had over 250k on hers! Only thing she's done (outside of semi-regular maintenance) is replacement of O2 Sensor. She thought I was SELLING MINE. She called her husband immediately! I assured her... I'm keeping this little charm to at least 400k! Only complaint... Gear Box is notchy! Nothing is perfect. Love this car!

This vehicle was purchased online. I live several hours away. Best buying experience I've ever had. Purchased many new vehicles including several Cadillacs but never had this experience. When ready to purchase again will have a look at this dealership for sure.

Just purchased a used 2008 Scion tC and I love it so far , it’s stylish, pretty comfortable for a 2 door compact car and handles very nice. The sun and moon roof is very cool. The power is pretty good, at low rpms, it feels zippy and peppy. The car is really fun to drive there’s tons of aftermarket upgrades to customize the Tc. This car is just a bang for your buck as you can find a good and clean Tc for a good price. Recommend the car for a first time driver or someone who just wants a good looking good driving reliable car for a reasonable price.
