I bought my Forte LXS in Feb of 2024 and i've driven 9,000 miles on it so far. it's been great and i prefer this over a Corolla or a Camry. on the highway i sometimes get fuel economy in the low 50's mpg and on average i get around 37 mpg combined. not bad at all. i bought this for $21K after taxes and registration. the value can't be beat imo.

I Love this car. It had all the safety feature you would think of Lane assist etc. The 50 MPG + and really comfortable. Great driving in the city or highway

This is a solid comfortable car nearing luxury status. My only concern is the infotainment system freezing at times and ignition loses connection with the FOB every once in awhile.

Overall a good car for the price, smooth and quiet ride (for its class) and surprisingly accurate gas milleage. What we like so far (got it a month ago and have already 1500 miles (driven in the mountains and in the city): consistent great gas mileage - the best among hybrids; nice exterior design and great safety features; spacey interior; very decent and quiet ride: don't expect great power from the start but can get to 140 - 160 miles/hr and ride smoothly and quietly. What we don't quite like: the door pockets are so small one cannot fit a regular cup of coffee or tea, rather cheap fixtures, missing back sit middle cup holder (they added it to the more expensive models but these have lower gas mileage), the mirrors do not automatically fold, weird design of the middle console, it has a sort of wall (possible for the right seat rider to hold) but that takes of the space we could've use to add a two cup holder adaptor. After a year of ownership I'll update the review.

2013 Taurus bought with 18,000 as a "dealer car". Now has 220,000 miles and have replaced nothing but shocks, brakes, battery, wipers, tires. Original alternator, water pump, air cond, steering, trans, engine - NO major expenses whatever.. Would run over 10,000+ miles with no need to add oil if you chose to do such a thing. Starts, runs, drives extremely well. Wife isn't scared to drive on 200 mile trips alone. Suspension is a little loose but what do you expect! This car has provided , and continues to provide outstanding performance.

Smooth fast transaction. Went in on a tuesday and on thursday I went back to pick up my car with the plates on it , with gas , oil change sticker and also they went through it at the mechanic shop. Two weeks later it got scraped at the grocery store went back, they touched it up for free and gave me recommedations to a body shop if i wanted it painted. Great Guys!!

I knew what kind of vehicle I was looking for and SEM had just what I wanted. They were very simplistic in their sales with no high pressure or fast talking. I either wanted the vehicle or I didn't. It took a few days for the car to be ready as they had to give it their inspections and complete the paperwork, but it was ready when they said it would be. Since I was buying a used vehicle, I decided to purchase the warranty and am I glad I did. As with every older vehicle there can be maintenance problems, but SEM was extremely helpful and conscientious in making sure my vehicle was in proper working order. They were happy to listen to my concerns and help me figure out what exactly was wrong and they fixed it far better than I could have expected. Their sales and customer service are exemplary. We purchased our 2017 hatchback new in the summer of 2017. Our only expenses at 134,000 plus miles has been gas, regular oil and filter changes, tire pressure sensor and tires. A VERY reliable car with average mileage 34 mpg, max highway was 55 plus! And normal highway at 70 mpg of 43 mpg. No interior, exterior or mechanical issues or viewable wear. I wish Chevy still produced them for sale in U.S.A. as we would gladly buy another. No other new vehicle this size, mileage, amenities at this price.

Absolutely love my car. 2018 SI sedan 6speed manual. A/C was fixed at dealer a while back. No problem since. No other problems of any kind. I never get under 35MPG COMBINED city and freeway. We drove to Phoenix and never got gas on the way. I’m at almost 90k miles, favorite car I have owned. I added a subwoofer to the stock stereo and it’s pretty good with Dolby Neural. I am amazed at the engineering to have over 200hp and just under 40mpg. Seat material is cheap. That’s one complaint. And it rides like a civic SI especially in sport mode. The handling is top notch I’ve scared a few people taking corners. If you like the SI cars over the years, this is one of the best

Bought the vehicle new in October of 2023. Now it’s March of 2025. Have yet to have an issue🤞though have heard of common problems many have had. I’ve put roughly 20 k miles on the car in a year and a half (mostly interstate driving). Technology package is lovely and the vehicle has an overall stylish feel. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that you’re buying a 20k dollar vehicle from 2023. It’s plastics galore in there, so, though stylish, the material quality isn’t the best. If you’re someone who takes care of your things, you shouldn’t have an issue! Use the maintenance schedule found in the Owner’s manual and this vehicle should get you where you’re going for a reasonable amount of years. That being said, if you’re trying to decide between and LX[S] and GT (not including GT-Line), choose the GT. Though you’re paying a little extra, you get a standard transmission with real gears (the car has more power than you’d think too) rather than the CVT found in the LX[S] (and GT-line). CVT tech has greatly improved within recent years, but they’re still known to be problematic at times. All in all, this generation of Kia seems to be more reliable than most previous gens. Definitely a real deal competitor with the carolla/civic and worth the consideration!
