After needing to replace my Infiniti Q40, I landed on the stylish Volvo S60. Coming from a 350bhp sports sedan, the S60 feels more like a smooth touring sedan rather than a performance machine—it’s a different breed, a more refined one. Comfort & Space At 6'1" and 240lbs, head clearance and shoulder width are non-negotiable for me when choosing a car. Many options, like the BMW 3 Series (which made me hit my head on entry/exit) and the Toyota Camry (too narrow in the shoulders), didn’t make the cut. The S60, however, offers ample leg and shoulder room, and the seats are incredibly comfortable. Performance The S60 is quick and smooth. My Infiniti was undeniably fast, and while the Volvo doesn’t compare in raw power, I never feel underwhelmed. It’s got enough pep to confidently pass traffic, and—based on experience—it’ll leave an X3 or X5 behind at the merge lane. 😄 Interior & Features The cabin design is sleek, luxurious, and built with high-quality materials. Everything feels solid, and the cupholders fit two large Owala or Yeti containers—something my Infiniti couldn’t manage. However, storage space is lacking; there’s no dedicated sunglass holder, and finding good spots for keys and wallets isn't ideal. Fuel Efficiency Fuel economy is impressive. Even with a heavy foot, I easily get 25mpg mixed, thanks to the mild hybrid setup. The power assist eliminates turbo lag, making acceleration smooth and responsive—while you won’t rival a true sports sedan, you won’t feel sluggish either. Driving Experience & Safety Highway cruising is effortless, and overtaking slow drivers is no problem. The self-driving functionality is excellent—on par with Subaru's Eyesight system, which outperforms Acura, Nissan/Infiniti, Toyota, and GM in my experience. Tech & Infotainment The Android Auto Operating System is sleek, and voice commands with "Hey Google" respond quickly. Google Maps, climate controls, and music apps like XM and Spotify work seamlessly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t cooperate with Waze or some other apps, which is disappointing. Apple CarPlay is available, but oddly, Android Auto isn't—a baffling omission. Supposedly, an update is already available, but my car won't update ITA so it requires a service center visit, so I’ll find out in about 9,000 miles when I take it in. A few frustrations: - No split-screen on the entertainment console—you must choose between the map or the radio, not both. - The gorgeous dash display will either show Google Maps with navigation or… nothing. Seems like a missed opportunity. - Heated seats aren’t standard, even in the Plus model. This car comes with a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and air purification, yet somehow, no heated seats? - The phone app for remote start is quick and easy, but you can’t adjust climate settings, which is frustrating. Final thoughts: Overall, I really like this car—it’s smooth, comfortable, stylish, and incredibly safe. The price is competitive, making it more affordable than some standard sedans. Sadly, 2025 will be its last production year in the U.S., but since the engine and drivetrain match the V60 and XC60—and the model remains available overseas—parts availability shouldn’t be a concern.

We could not be happier with the recent service we received at Alan Byer! One of our Volvos unexpectedly had an engine issue involving burnt valves and excessive carbon build-up. Roman got it in immediately and Dustin evaluated the situation and helped us obtain good-will assistance from Volvo, thereby saving us from an otherwise very costly repair! This is a perfect example of how Long term customer relationships built on loyalty and trust pays off, as we’ve always ONLY had Alan Byer service our Volvos so they have the full history of our cars. Had a 2014 Honda Sport and decided I to try a luxury car that wouldn't break the budget, so bought the cheapest used Volvo S60. It's great. It's extremely comfortable (with very adjustable seats), the sound system is outstanding, it handles turns really well, is nice and quiet, is really nice looking without being flashy, and it's touchscreen features are very easy to use especially with voice control. I live in a city, so one reason I chose it is because I read that Volvo's are not popular among thieves. Another reason I chose it is that my two friends who have Volvo's (XC models) swear by them, and one is 6'4" with a bad back.

Grat car, we have owned a total of 9 Volvos different models, but everyone was completely reliable never letting us down and only needing the required maintenance service which is included in the lease.

I purchased a 2017 Chevy Impala Premier on 9/17. I can not express how I felt buying this car! First, Greg Zimmer treated me as if I was buying a brand new Cadillac. In 2015 purchased a CPO 2011 Civic EX-L, priced a bit higher than I preferred. Had no problems with the Civic. Had family members who lived nearby Lamacchia Honda and for many years (more than 40 year) never had any neighborly conflict. In 2022 bought a 2022 Civic Touring from Honda City of Liverpool, NY, the finance person tried to sell me 3rd party warranties and other services, but they would not honor to repair any damages themselves. Everything was roughly 250 to 1,100 miles away if I needed to obtain repair work from these 3rd party partners of Honda City and they refused to offer me Honda Care Extended Warranty. Called a Honda Dealer in Massachusetts and got a favorable Honda Care quote and purchased from them. I went to Honda City with appointment for the 6-month service as dropped off early morning, but they never touched it and had to come back the next day. Oil Change was not done, said had not reached 5K miles. Engine was making noise, said it was normal, had molding that the factory put on that was defective, told would not fix because it came from factory that way. For my 12-month service took to Lamacchia and they did everything I asked. Civic has a power steering recall, at Lamacchia was in and out in 35 minutes. Staff is nice, place is clean, and have not had any issues. Yes! Honda City seems to carry one or two higher trim levels that Lamacchia won't have in inventory, but Lamacchia has a much larger selection of lower trim levels. Example Honda City has 40 vehicles and Lamacchia has 160 vehicles. Honda City lacks that personal engagement to make you feel comfortable. At Lamacchia it feels more down to earth, and you get treated like a person. Go in with a good attitude, ought to leave with a good attitude. If not satisfied, how could have been done better. If the staff at Lamacchia Honda treated you unkind or unfairly, ask for Mr. Lamacchia and he will take care of matters so you can leave as a happy customer.

After changing jobs and having to drive 100 miles round trip, I decided to buy the 2023 Honda Civic, I think it was the best decision of my life, not only does it save me a lot of gas but it looks spectacular on the outside and not to mention The interior is simply perfect with a lot of space, like any criticism there are negative points such as the sound system which in my opinion lacks power to be able to listen to your favorite songs at full volume, another point that I would like to highlight is that it lacks entry to the car without having to use your remote control even my 2011 grand cherokee has it, in a general perspective it seems like a good car for price, safety and appearance, it has been my first honda and I think I will continue with the tradition of continuing to buy this model for a long time

We have a model 3 but we want a more comfortable car with similar performance on gas. This car with all the technology packages are more comfortable than model 3 but as smart in terms of driving assistance.
