Honestly, for as cheap as you can get them, the value you get is amazing. I make consistent 300mi commutes on weekends (600 total) and this car has given me 0 issues. I make it each way with a 1/4 tank of gas left, insane gas mileage for a 21 year old car. Original owner took good car of it, owner they sold it to tried to run it into the ground, I fixed the issues they gave it. 170k original miles and still going strong, any problems are cheap to fix (SO easy to fix yourself). Excellent for modding (if that’s your thing), perfect for learning to work on cars (cheap parts, easy access), and a stellar beater. Still gets as good if not better mpg than modern cars. Only gripes are as follows: Steering wheel doesn’t come forward, so if you’re a taller person it’s gonna be a little less than ideal comfort. Road noise is a bit loud, especially for highways, but then again.. that’s what the volume knob on the stereo is for. Though I eventually will purchase something more modern, I find the idea of letting go of my 02 very hard to comprehend.

I have a 2017 Sonata SE that has been a very good, reliable vehicle. I spend alot of time on the road for my job and it had never given me any issues; very comfortable, gas mileage around 30+. As many others have said, the engine conked out at around 124,000 mi. The dealer replaced it with a new factory engine 2 mos ago. A week after I got it back, the accelerator something or other broke so I took it back and had to pay $500 to repair it. (they swore it was unrelated- I dont think so) Other than that, it has been a great car.

I had the best experience with them. They explained everything in detail, told me my options, and went above and beyond just to make me happy. I recommend them to everybody!

I own a 23' Hyundai Elantra Limited, it has 37,000 miles on it. For the Elantra being the smallest sedan that Hyundai makes, I have been surprised by this car. My 2 previous cars were a Sonata Sport and a Sonata Limited. Pros: comfortable ride - I drive 60+ miles daily to work and I have no complaints about the ride of this car. Sound System: This features Bose speakers, as it is a Limited model. For a factory sound system, it sounds very good. Fuel Mileage: I get between 35 - 37 MPG with some of my daily drive being in stop and go traffic. Maintenance: the only things I have had to do were the normal oil changes, filter changes, and I have replaced the tires. Cool feature is the BlueLink phone app so you can remotely lock, unlock, start the engine to cool down or warm up the interior of the car Cons: hyundai took away the ability to save music to the car stereo and replaced the feature with "nature sounds" Homelink garage door opener was not an option in the Elantra Limited. I would recommend this car to someone that has a limited budget and is looking for a car that is fun to drive and has been reliable.

Hello, Steve in service was awesome I was having a problem with my battery in Pendleton I headed toward the Lexus dealer in Greenvile , it was almost 4:00 PM, I CALLED Steve on my way and told him my problem and that I was coming hoping to make it be 4:30, I did, Steve was waiting for me and took the Lexus SUV 350 straight back to the mechanics and before I got comfortable in the lounge he told me it was the battery and the cables, I agreed to fix it right then and they were finished with the repair plus vacuum and washed the car. Paid Steve and I was on my way home by like 5:15/5:30. Steve was great and I was thrilled with the service he gave me and the warranty. Thank you so much especially being a widow it’s so nice to have dependable people like Steve and Lexus of Greenville to help me. I won’t use anyone else and will recommend you.

Great mileage and very nice interior. Lotsa stuff but sadly only drivers window is auto. Wheels are terrible. They look great but very hard to clean. Good trunk space and nice seats. Having problems with backup camera it looks very foggy. Had it back to dealer twice, no luck. No CD player.. big downgrade.

I was in the market for a newer smaller car and had searched everywhere. Seemed like no one could help me get in to my dream car. I finally decided I would try carmax and no regret whatsoever. They helped me find the exact car I wanted and the approval was fast and easy. Would reccomend to anyone shopping for a car.

Decent but not outstanding. Had a problem with the passenger side motor mount causing a rattle that was fixed under warranty at the 5000 mi service. The part was backordered, so there are probably more than a few with this problem. A discoloration of the dash appeared by 2000 miles. Since it read "Toy" it was likely from the factory. There is still a small bubble in the rear window tint film. It drives well. I like the automation now that I'm used to it. It brakes too hard using adaptive cruise control when traffic slows down, but I guess the radar is doing as well as it can. It's not particularly comfortable, but Toyotas aren't known for that. Had to turn the driver's headrest around, as it pushes my head too far forward. I think that's required by law. The infotainment center works fine. They started using a new one after the 2024 debacle. I bought the car to keep it for a few hundred thousand miles. We'll see.

The dealership was very helpful and in finding a decent vehicle that fits my individual need with what I can afford. It is a Christian based location and the employee were all willing to help me. They were patient and aren't the kind of place who try's to get over on anyone. They helped me with coverage and warranty. I'd like to make a shout out to Erick who certainly works there. This has helped my credit improve already and it's only been 3 months which I am so grateful for... They also helped me with affordable monthly payments based of my hourly wages and by weekly pay... Then when you think you'll spend over for vehicle service, you don't. They provide Uber as well if you don't have a ride while your car is taken care of... They will guide you every step of the way and throw every process. They will even help you with being approved 😀!!! I have never worked there and I've never bought a car from a dealership before. I've always paid in full for my used vehicle because I didn't want debit worries. So this is my personal experience and I am grateful 🥲🙏!!! I've only owned this car since January 31, 2025. Bought it used from a small dealer in Tennessee with 136,652 miles on it. I bought it because I moved to Tennessee and will be starting a new job soon, so I needed a reliable car to get to/from work. I've always had Hondas; this is my first Toyota, and has not let me down so far. It's comfortable, fun to drive, starts right up every time and you can shift the transmission manually for more fun. All I've had to do to it so far is oil change and replace tie rod ends. I always look forward to driving it. I love the styling of the SE trim, it has the 4 cylinder engine. Only thing I'm going to need to do to it soon is tires. I gave it 4 stars for performance cause the 6 speed transmission seems to lag a bit unless you use manual shift mode and it seems to want to shift into 6th gear too soon. Other than that, I love this car!

Good car good buying process just wobbles a little at around 70-80 mph while on highway. Might just be a small alignment with only my car may not be a consistent problem.

I recently bought a 2020 Elantra with very low miles (39k). It looks great, like new, and drives like a large sedan should. And the gas mileage is great! Driving around town yesterday it got 37 mpg in normal traffic, when the spec is 30. And on the freeway I was getting well over 57 mpg on a very slight, non-visible decline at 77 mph. It "feels" comfortable. My only knock so far is the information on the center console could be brighter and I haven't figured out how to make it yet. The owner's manual was not included in the sale.

Got this car as part of a trade with my 2013 Chevy Malibu. It's not a bad car did have a few issues with the spark plugs that came out of nowhere. And they had to be replaced along with a few other issues but outside of that it's been a pretty reliable car that has gotten me from point a to point b. Everything works well the Bluetooth has worked wonders along with the seats being comfortable and it drives smooth.

We are a Lexus family because the cars are graceful and reliable. We will never drive anything else. We have a 2006 Rx 330 with 300,000 miles and it’s still going strong. Never a problem…just the usual-brakes, tires and oil changes, batteries. I drive a 2011 ES 350 sedan that I bought used. 2 years old. Now has 110,000 miles. Still shiny and fresh looking. So nice to have a dependable vehicle. I think my drivers side seat is a little broken down and I am not a heavy person. I use a special cushion for comfort. I realize newer cars have more bells and whistles..but what’s the point of trading a great car for a bigger cup holder? We are older. When we are ready to go down to one car we will trade them both for another Lexus!!!!! Best car on the road! My son has been a top rated auto mechanic for 26 years-not American made-and he concurs. Love our cars!

I am so glad I decided to get a Charger in 2015. I now have a 2023 Daytona and LOVE it. Beautiful and fun to drive. Only problem is there is no spare tire, just basically a fix a flat kit.
