Bought with 172K on the dash now it has near 178K. only had it for 7 months & this car is super nice. it has all the options available except for AWD. To me it was a xxxx of a deal or just plain luck I got for this car. It gets 21 mpg on city/29 on hwy. Premium fuel only which I don’t mind at all.

2014 CLS63 Type S. I’ve owned maybe 50 cars in my lifetime. Never a car like this. Bad to the core. (In a good way) The engine is second to none. The handling bests my mustang. The interior is clean, classy and feels quality. The car is fast. And I don’t mean hey look at me fast. I mean, hold on and maybe I should let off the throttle a bit, fast. No problems mechanically so far. But I am well aware of the potential cost of maintenance. That would be the only draw back. Very happy with this vehicle. Love the look. Love the feel. Love the power.

I was very pleased with my experience. I started at CarMax to "try on" several cars from several manufacturers. The salesman (Jack) was happy to oblige, despite it being cold and rainy. We walked the lot and I sat in ~20 cars. I went home and researched them some more, scheduled a few to test drive and came back on Jack's day off. This time, I worked with Brandon for a few test drives and discussed other vehicles at nearby CarMax locations. They found a vehicle that fit my requirements and transported it in for me to test drive. A few days later, I was back for the final test drive, loved the car and purchased it. Jack and Brandon kept good communication, weren't pushy and were a pleasure to work with. The business office was quick and explained the paperwork and processes effectively. I bought new in 2015. Now over 110K miles. No issues at all except regular maintenance. It's been one of the best cars I've owned - value, comfort, MPG, etc. It has dated well and doesn't look like a 11 year old car. The 2.4 does burn about a quart of oil every 2K miles. I regularly check the oil level and do all maintenance early. I don't know how it would hold up if I drove it hard or didn't do regular maintenance.....

Hi, i own a Is250 for almost 6 months now and after having this car for a period of almost 6 months i feel like i owe this review to this particular piece of art, i bought this car used as my first car and i had few other options that i was particularly interested in such as the 09 Accord and a 05 Gs350, while buying the car i wanted something quick, comfortable, good on gas and Ofcourse reliable and i vouch that this car has checked all the boxes i bought the car with over 400k KM driven i’ve driven this car allot even driving more than 600-700KM in a day, the last owner didn’t do a good care of the exterior and interior but he indeed took a decent care of the mechanical side of the car so far after driving more than 40k KM in just 6 months the only thing i spend was on a battery and a oil change thats all! Been super reliable girls like it and its a quick car truly a amazing vehicle to own 100% recommended

I’ve had this car for years. It has 212,000 miles and still runs fantastic. Air ride and squishy seats make road trips effortless and comfortable. With 275hp all aluminum V8 highway cruising and hills are no problem. I installed an aftermarket alpine stereo to get better tuning ability for the factory amp and speakers and what a difference. This car came with some great stuff .

I love this car. It was passed down to me from my dad, and has been a reliable daily since 2012 (writing in 2024). This car has taken me through college, and a fair number of road trips. Highly recommend for anyone that wants a daily that you can have fun with on the weekend.

I recently purchased A 2018 Alpina B7 from Ray at Motor Cars Of Chicago. When I purchased the car I made it clear to Ray that I was going to be in need of the title in ASAP fashion – Ray said I’d have the title within two weeks and boy did I just like he said he fulfilled the promise he made no questions asked. Also on the way home after taking delivery, I had a very minor problem that turned out to be a bad battery. Ray was unaware of when we took delivery of the car – Ray didn’t hesitate he reimbursed me for the batteries I had to have installed at the BMW dealer by the BMW dealer. He said the car was flawless and he stood behind that statement. Ray is very straightforward and no xx perhaps not full of warm fuzzies for everyone but a great way to do business, especially in the luxury and highline car business. I find Ray to be honorable direct and stand up and we’ll do business with him again if I had any reservations about doing business with them before this transaction, they are all completely gone and yours should be too. Fantastic little car. Some people complain about the pickup and I would say 2 things to that. 1, its a 106 horse power car. What did you expect? 2. You are probably driving the automatic CVT, which I can say did feel quite boring. However, if you get this in a manual (if you can find it in the states!) then this car is very nice. Its still not going to keep up with the average 200+ HP car on the road today. Even Minivans have turbos in them now, but you won't feel too awful. The reliability is out of this world IF you ensure you do a carbon clean during oil changes, get a manual (automatic transmission is one of its only failure points), change the transmission fluid, do basic maintenance, engine air filter every year, synthetic every 6-7k miles (5k if you want to be anal about it), and ill reiterate do a carbon cleaning if you get knock and its not the spark plugs or the ignition coils. These engines are direct injected, which means the top of the cylinders get lots of burn off carbon and gunk up. Then they don't function so well, you get check engine on startup, and rough idling. A guy I knew basically gave me this car, and he was thought it was a dud. I took it, cleaned out the carbon, started it up and it ran perfectly for a month. Changed every coil and plug, did all maintenance, and his 30k car that was a "dud" is now going on 90k miles 4 years later without a single issue. Took it to Mazda and they said it was practically brand new and expect it to run for 250k+. That is after putting 60k of delivery driving miles on it. Cars like this are so fun because most of the issues with cars can be fixed. Those cars you get rid of thinking they went bad, are probably fine. Unless its engine or transmission related, its generally fixable. Note: I am not a mechanic, I am just a normal guy who watched videos and made friends with mechanics and paid them to let me sit in and help anytime I got work done on my car. This is one of the best economy cars to ever exist. Up their with Corollas and Civics. In fact, I plan on buying a Miata because of how much I love the dynamics of this car. It feels amazing with the piddling 106HP it has. I can't imagine what a Miata with nearly twice the torque and 176HP feels like while being 2/3rds the size.
