I traded in my 22 Accord with the 1.5T and CVT transmission. My 2021 has the 2.0T and 10 speed automatic. It’s a great car for the money, dollar for dollar, you cannot beat it! Fully Loaded, very strong motor and tranny, rides beautiful, handles everything beautifully!

In my opinion, the 2020 Lexus ES is the best midsize sedan on the market. Featuring a 3.5L Naturally aspirated V6 making 302 HP and 267 (not 266) pounds feet of torque, it’s 195 inches long with a wheel base of 113 inches which makes this drive like a boat, it drives a lot like its bigger brother, the LS—luxurious and composed— but that’s more of a yacht compare to ES. Firstly I’m going to highlight my experience with the car daily driving it. I absolutely love this car, on start up while the engine is cold it is a bit jerky, I’m referring to the Asian 8 speed tranny, it doesn’t like cold fluids what so ever, the engine is loud as it use direct injection instead of the port injection (D4s) while cold. But after it warms up it’s like floating on a cloud, even over bostons worst roads, wind noise is minimal, road noise is non existence and the ambiance of the cabin is amazing, I love driving it, dry smooth, I doesn’t hunt for gears as much as people say but it does jerk at times at low speeds especially if your coming to a stop and you let on the gas instead of hitting zero, it shocks the car and the tranny jerks you into 2nd, turns are very bubbly you feel like your on a bouncy castle, I also need to highlight the personality of ES, 302 HP.. this ain’t no itty bitty 4 banger, ain’t no civic, this is an ES, its own world, it’s fast.. it has no forced induction so from a roll yes you are slow but highway speeds? Man the linear power delivery, it’s so smooth and fast, I can go 120 no problem, I love it so much, but that’s not what the cars about.. but I can be.. it has its limits. The FWD system is fine, 0 torque steer.. I mean there’s a bit but it only becomes prominent if you don’t know how to drive lol, the unibody construction is very planted and structurally intact. It can take an emergency panic steer at 45 MPH easy & hard breaking is done like a champ. The triple beam head lights are amazing the way they follow the direction of the wheel at night. I don’t really have any complaints about ES, besides that jerky tranny but it’s only on cold starts and only when you don’t know how to drive it. The safety systems are lovely, I really like the Lexus touch pad, I love seeing my screen on a sunny day finger print free!! Makes it look elegant, never been a touch screen fan to begin with, I just don’t like how Lexus stops you from being able to interact with the touch pad while the car is in motion but it’s a safety feature. It’s not a perfect car but xxxx is it a great one.. I had Lexus’ my whole life so maybe I’m biased.. I encourage reads to look up the downs sides.. you’ll see people always say the tranny is jerky.. nothing else beside that. And the maintenance? Can’t beat 90$ at the DEALERSHIP I love it, it’s cheap to run and oh it takes regular!! Huge win!! People turn heads when in drive in.. because I have THE Lexus ES, guys skip the base get the triple beams and it elevates your car, the ultra luxury package is amazing, I have every available option you could of speced back in 2020, it’s just such a nice car I love it!!! Please guys buy an ES if you want a smooth reliable comfortable sedan, if you wanna go go go, or something cheaper get a BMW. Or a Honda.

I have to say, this was the most pleasant buying experience I've ever had. Sales people were extreemly knowledgable, cheerful, and not pushy. Maybe even more impressive were the mechanics- probably the most experienced mechanics I've ever delt with- and in 40 years of driving and working on cars, that's saying something. Where else can you go and try out a dozen cars from as many different companies, all in one place.

Got my 2020 a few years back been a soild car. Haven't had one major issue with any of the car drivableity of the car. But thank again my service record is flawless . But for an all wheel drive car she pulls hard when your ready to have fun but can just cruise when you need her to the drive modes are a great ad to it . But all and all would recommend anybody give it a look and go test drive one .

Decent but not outstanding. Had a problem with the passenger side motor mount causing a rattle that was fixed under warranty at the 5000 mi service. The part was backordered, so there are probably more than a few with this problem. A discoloration of the dash appeared by 2000 miles. Since it read "Toy" it was likely from the factory. There is still a small bubble in the rear window tint film. It drives well. I like the automation now that I'm used to it. It brakes too hard using adaptive cruise control when traffic slows down, but I guess the radar is doing as well as it can. It's not particularly comfortable, but Toyotas aren't known for that. Had to turn the driver's headrest around, as it pushes my head too far forward. I think that's required by law. The infotainment center works fine. They started using a new one after the 2024 debacle. I bought the car to keep it for a few hundred thousand miles. We'll see.

I bought this car brand new in 2012. Paid 17k. Worth every penny. It has 63k miles onit right now. Have never done anything other than change the oil and filter. It runs like it is expected. Slow and easy. You won't win no races with it. But it gets my wife to work with no issues. { 5 miles} Rain or snow. We have taken it on several road trips. Including a couple 1000 plus mile trips. Running wide open the whole way. It has no problem. I am a big guy. Very un comfy in most cars. But this I fall right into it and am able to climb back out with ease. The interior is cloth. Its starting to fade. But still no tears or wear marks. Theres nothing fancy about this car. But my wife loves it.

Jaden was most helpful and courteous. He has given me his card to call him when i have issues trying to figure out where things are and how to make them work as i am most non techy.

I purchased mine used with 15,000 miles. She runs great and I get compliments on her often. Supersonic red with black top. The only reason I purchased this car is because my 2000 Camry is getting hard to find parts for. He still runs great. But, since I do not know when I will need to repair anything expensive on him, I had to get another Camry. For fear of not being able to repair my 2000 Camry (which still looks amazing new). I can vouch that gas powered Toyota's will last forever. Look at all of them on the road. So, I know this one will last forever.

Having purchased only new vehicles my entire life, I found myself in need of buying my girlfriend a certified used vehicle from a local Honda dealership. After the salesman ignored our desires and instead try to upsell us, however, we decided to try Carmax instead. From the start, Carmax offered a helpful hand online and friendly service over the phone: they were quickly able to find what we needed and provide attractive financing in a flash. (Thanks to you, Lesly.) Moreover, I found scheduling of a meeting to finish the deal at the dealership efficient. Once at the dealership, Haseam did well in helping us -- his knowledge and friendliness were impressive, especially since I havevworked in the service industry for many years . Because he did not try to upsell us, but rather did his best to educate us on what would work well, (coming in on his day-off to finalize the deal), I must commend Carmax and its associates for providing a memorable experience. I've owned several Corolla's before, and the 2023 XSE is the best one yet. The fit and finish of the exterior, and the design and materials of the interior are all high quality for a car in this price range. The overall drivability is excellent, and feels like a car that's much more expensive. I'm still not really a fan of the CVT transmission. When you go to accelerate quickly, the car seems to be sliding in between gears and never actually chooses one. But after reading the owners manual and learning to shift the gears manually, it allows the cars performance to really shine through. It has 10 gears in the Manual Mode, and it's actually pretty fun to shift with either the up & down shift paddles on the side of the steering wheel, or pushing the gear-select lever one at a time. Anyway - it was the only driving issue I had, and Toyota already had a solution. Overall, this new Corolla is the best value car I've ever owned.

I have had a great experience with this car. It now has over 130,000 miles on it. And still going strong. I've only had to do the brakes. I changed the oil every 3000 miles. I did have to change. The driver's side axle. Toyota had a recall on the paint. So I now have a new paint job. The car looks wonderful. Like brand new? It has a brand new set of tires. Very dependable. It's a little noisy on the highway. But I expected that. The entertainment system. Is excellent. So it drowns out the highway noise. It handles great. The steering is precise. Overall, I would recommend this car. Especially to anyone who is seeking a low budget. Car. With good reliability.

This particular 2016 Corolla S we bought used in December 2021 and so far so good. I had a small Toyota pickup back in the mid 1980’s and it was awesome!!!
