Test drove the 2004 Thunderbird.
Test drove the 2004 Thunderbird. I said I was interested and would pay $14,500 for the car. They said there was a transmission problem with the car and could not negotiate until that was resolved. At the time the car was priced at $15,107. I have sent emails still showing my interest but have not received additional information on the transmission status as of this. 2015 Chevrolet Malibu 1LT review
Good used car. Cheaper than competition
It's a good car. Bought it used. I bought it with 84000 miles, now has 111,000 miles. Main computer had to be replaced, and was done under warranty. I replaced the brakes myself at 104,000 miles, and they were the original OE GM brakes the car was born with. Seats lack support, but I bought a leather cushion that helps. The back seat is really tight, ok for small kids. My fuel economy in the city can get to 23 mpg if I don't use the AC. It gets worse city mileage in the winter too. Highway mileage, the car does well, 34-35 if I drive it right. I think for a reliable used car, it's ok. They are cheaper than the Japanese competition. Rides and handles well.
