Purchased a used 2018 with 35K miles in 2023. I now have 75K miles as it's a commuter car, about 90 miles a day. I average almost 41 mpg going from Pueblo to Colorado Springs and back. The CVT was a bit suspect when I first got it, but I think the driving has corrected the 3rd gear delay. The CVT is hands down better than my Altima. One year that car was gone, total junk.

The only issues I have had with is vehicle are the interior door handles and a front wheel bearing. The bearing starting showing its age around 180k. I haven't changed the plugs, but the car still runs fine. Mechanically speaking, the car is worth the money, has not let me down yet. But I do keep the fluids changed the regular. I only abused it once, it does reach 120mph, but I do not reccomend this, it's not a sports car. Comfort wise, the seat padding goes soft after about 70k. No big deal.

140,000 trouble free miles so far. Nothing more than scheduled maintenance. Drives great, acceleration very good with a 240 hp tubo. May get a new one when available.

I bought my 2013 ACURA TL Special Edition new with 25 miles (I test drove it with 5 miles). I have taken care of that baby since day one. It's been garaged; well-maintained (oil changes; tires replaced; battery replaced). Just turned 77,000 miles today! I am selling mine only because I need an SUV. I wish I could keep it as my second car.

They are not hard sell and they work with you in anyway that they can. You will NOT be buying a new or certified car. What you will get is a nice newer car probably with a lot of miles on it but still in good shape. I WILL be bringing my business back to them in the future

Really good car. Bought my focus 2 years ago, and it was amazing deal. Was by the far best deal on the lot. There was a Corolla on the lot, which was way older, had a higher mileage, and was $500 more. I said no way, stick it Toyota. I’m going American, and I am so glad I made that choice. My focus didn’t disappoint me at all, with a well designed well thought out interior design, and sporty exterior styling. Very comfortable and quiet ride. And impressive gas mileage. 37 MPG on the highway, and around town about 33. Awesome gas mileage, and it only costs me $50 a week for a full tank. Been pretty reliable, did have a few little transmission hiccups. But took it in and were soon fixed under warranty. Other than that, no other reliability problems to report in two years of ownership. Definitely recommend this car.

My 2009 Altima SE still runs great. Although the paint is dull from years under California sun. It has no problem wantsoever. I have all windows tinted to keep cool.

The only thing I would say in gear 1 get vibration sudder like going up a hill ask the Mechanic to check it he says it’s like a vibration sudder not sure if this is what there meant to be like he said it’s fine apart from that no problem apart from need to sort the clutch

Bought 2008 with 94k miles on it and have owned it for 2 years (115k on it now). Great value car, great Dave Ramsey car(read the Total Money Makeover), great car value to avoid debt(buy one off a “grandma” (=low miles and not driven hard(it only went to church and the grocery store🤣😂)). I will drive it to 200k or more and my investment accounts will keep on growing!

Went for service that actually pinpointed the problem I was having that no one else could

This is the second 2009 Ford focus SE that I’ve owned. The first one had 147,000 miles on it with nothing needed but regular items. Tires, battery, regular oil changes at 5000 mile intervals and never used any oil between changes. If I kept my foot out of it, I got 38 to 41 miles mpg, if I pushed it I still got 35 at 80 mph. This one has 79,000 miles on it and I have not done anything but tires. It’s nearly as clean as off the showroom floor, as I keep my cars clean. I am very happy with this car. Depreciation is so low now, insurance is low, no payments with interest, make this an exceptionally cheap car to own. Reability has been second to none for me. Highly recommended but very hard to find a nice one with a regular maintenance performed and no rust. You can’t go wrong with the value of this car, great commuter car or for a new teenage driver. It’s rated safe. It’s also very comfortable to drive for a whole day.

Was lucky enough to buy a used one with a religious service record and the DCT issues repaired and it's fantastic. Great gas mileage, roomy up front, nice features, stellar looking exterior, handles like a dream and sticks to the road. Did have the common EVAP purge issue a week after having it, but that was a cheap fix.

Very knowledgeable and fair. I went to about 10 different places to drive cars and I could tell they knew more about the cars they were selling than anyone else I talked to. They will be my first stop any time I shop for a car in the future.

I recommend this car for city driving though interstate driving is ok. I bought it new with 54 miles on it. I don't even have 11000 mi on it in 9 years. I've only replaced the battery twice and engine air filter once. The car is comfortable and reliable including tire pressure warnings during snow.

My Dad has bought 4 cars from Toms before he over he passed away. I myself have bought at least 2 as far as I am concerned Toms auto is the only place to go for a Used car! This has been by far the best car I’ve owned. I use Yokahama Avid Ascend tires and have been able to travel in any weather in this car. I had a tire blow out (after 76k miles) and the car never wavered once!! During an extremely busy year I kept forgetting or not being able to take it in for service and went 40k miles over the oil change, that was 100k mikes ago and it’s still running great!! In addition to the comfort and sporty look, it’s fast, fun and easy to drive. The only downfall being the expense of services and repairs, which is to be expected out of a quality, import car. I’ve been able to do a lot of the work outside of the dealerships and found that Ebay, FCP Euro and Rock Auto have had anything I’ve needed for repairs and services. I would recommend this car hands down to anyone, any time.

I've had my 2016 Focus SE for 9 years this year & will drive it until one of us dies. I've never had a problem with it. It gets great gas mileage, is comfortable & roomy. I've hauled many things that others thought wouldn't fit but with the back seats folded down ...no problem. I would recommend a Focus to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle.

I bought the car in 2020 now , I've replaced the water pump, alternator, purge valve and normal maintenance, the car gets up to speed on the highway pretty good , is pretty quite , handles good for a economy car, I got a 5 speed manual with all the bells and whistles, I would say it's not bad for the price I paid for it , I guess the automatics are a nightmare to own. If you drive in the snow get snow tires, other than that I hope to hit 200 k with this car

Joe was my go-to guy at one of the lots where this vehicle I was interested in is they have four lots in Des Moines. It's always wanting to come up there and have the vehicle taken to another shop nearby and pay to have it inspected so I can find out what it needs and decide if I wanted this still purchase it with whatever it needed and that was no problem but they wanted me to fill out the credit app online and that was cool and Danny but there's no reason to pull a hard hard copy of my credit report if I'm coming up to go look at the vehicle because if there's more things that need to be done to where then I want to put into it I probably wouldn't do the deal and I'd have a hard thing on my credit report that I wouldn't be able to get taken off so other than that them telling me to go do that even though they knew I wanted to get it checked first was my only irritation. But something came up and I had to register another vehicle that I have in my personal access right now so I may have to wait a couple months before I want to go up there and do that but my job allows me to travel all over so I might get to go up there if I can this month and check out the vehicle to see if it's something that I really really want before someone else gets it so yes Joe I appreciate you working with me and look forward to consuming this business transaction soon. Over the years I have driven different cars. I had Malibus in 1974, 1977 and came back to the Malibu in 2014 and now have a 2018. It is my favorite car and is just the right size for me and family members. Drives nice and is good on gas. I get compliments on my 2018 model. I call myself malibu Man.
