This was the first time visiting V.I.P. Honda. My daughter and I wanted to trade in her civic for the HRV. Got this car as part of a trade with my 2013 Chevy Malibu. It's not a bad car did have a few issues with the spark plugs that came out of nowhere. And they had to be replaced along with a few other issues but outside of that it's been a pretty reliable car that has gotten me from point a to point b. Everything works well the Bluetooth has worked wonders along with the seats being comfortable and it drives smooth.

Bought the vehicle new in October of 2023. Now it’s March of 2025. Have yet to have an issue🤞though have heard of common problems many have had. I’ve put roughly 20 k miles on the car in a year and a half (mostly interstate driving). Technology package is lovely and the vehicle has an overall stylish feel. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that you’re buying a 20k dollar vehicle from 2023. It’s plastics galore in there, so, though stylish, the material quality isn’t the best. If you’re someone who takes care of your things, you shouldn’t have an issue! Use the maintenance schedule found in the Owner’s manual and this vehicle should get you where you’re going for a reasonable amount of years. That being said, if you’re trying to decide between and LX[S] and GT (not including GT-Line), choose the GT. Though you’re paying a little extra, you get a standard transmission with real gears (the car has more power than you’d think too) rather than the CVT found in the LX[S] (and GT-line). CVT tech has greatly improved within recent years, but they’re still known to be problematic at times. All in all, this generation of Kia seems to be more reliable than most previous gens. Definitely a real deal competitor with the carolla/civic and worth the consideration!

This car is smooth, cute car. All wheels drive . Automatic. I feel so confident driving It. My always concern it’s about snow, ice, rain. My grandma drove this car off the lot, brand new. Has been a great car. After a few years it was passed on to my mom, then my dad, and now me. I’ve driven this car for 3 years now but unfortunately there is too much maintenance to be done for the money. Around 160k miles for us it has had minimal issues so I’d say it’s a great car. It started when we got back from a trip and one of the cylinders were misfiring (which was a spark plug and an easy fix). Around 170k miles we were driving it and it ended up overheating. We got it towed and it ended up being the water pump going out (as well as the serpentine belt needing to be replaced). After that we drove it for a few weeks but it started running rough, then we went to go home from work one night and it was idling super rough so we drove it home and decided not to use it until we could get it towed to a mechanic. It was blowing out lots of white smoke. Turns out the head gasket has blown (which we think was from the overheating done originally). Car has officially made it to 173k miles. We were hoping more but it’s not horrible considering. Something to look out for is this also burns a lot of oil. Be sure to check it often, every two weeks depending on how much you drive. Wish the engine had a recall or something for that issue. Overall great car but from my reading, don’t get a 2007-2013 if used since these are the years for oil consumption issues.

Love my 2020 Accord EX-L...very roomy and it has a very comfortable interior. It has a few things missing that surprises me on an EX-L trim such as courtesy lights in the doors. Honda has the knockouts but no wiring harness. The lights are only available on the most expensive Touring model which is ridiculous as this is a $20 item. Honda also has chosen to not have the lights on the trunk light up when you hit the brakes...they are only reflectors but do light up on the Touring model. I HOPE AND PRAY THAT MY PAINT DOES NOT CHIP OFF LIKE IS HAPPENING ON SO MANY HONDA'S. I had the paint chip off the car on my 2008 Civic and on the roof of my 2014 PIlot. Of course Honda takes no responsibility for this even though its happening to countless Honda customers across many years and models. They have already chosen to remove the sunroof as standard on many Pilot models as well.
