This car is a rocket and extremely comfortable to drive. The Only issue I have is the SUPER Expensive to replace windshield. ANyone purchasing this car in E60/61, Should always have an extra valve cover and valve cover bolts on hand. They are torque to yield bolts, meaning that the heat makes them stretch and, therefore un-reuseable.

the 2012 Hyundai Sonata is a smooth comfortable car with a potential flaw that Hyundai has, in my opinion, addressed adequately. First the Pros: It is stylish in both the interior as well as exterior design. It is comfortable, even for me at 6'3" and is not tiring for extended periods on the highway. The fuel economy is good averaging for me about 32 MPG with mostly highway driving. The engine has reasonable power when needed and is generally smooth. The cons are that the 4-cylinder Theta-II engine that the Sonata Uses, (as well as the Santa Fe and Kia Optima and Sorento) has a known flaw that causes the #4 cylinder connecting rod bearing to wear out prematurely causing engine failure. Hyundai has recently extended the Engine Warranty to a lifetime warranty on these engines and that includes if you bought the car used. I think this is a reasonable response. My Sonata suffered this exact failure 5 months ago at 164,000 miles and the engine was replaced with no pushback. The car carried an original 100K mile warranty which is still considered industry leading so, legally, any car over 100K miles Hyundai and Kia could have stuck to their original warranty agreement and taken no action. But that is not what they are doing. One of the reasons I gave Korean cars a try several years ago was the lack of response I got on a Japanese brand known for their high quality that also had a known failure point but took no action after the warranty expired. Because of Hyundai's ultimate response I still highly recommend the car. if you have a higher mileage Sonata, my advice would be sure you have some sort of roadside assistance, so in case you experience this same failure, you will not be left stranded. The good news is that in the rare instance you experience this issue, you should receive a new engine.

Great mileage and very nice interior. Lotsa stuff but sadly only drivers window is auto. Wheels are terrible. They look great but very hard to clean. Good trunk space and nice seats. Having problems with backup camera it looks very foggy. Had it back to dealer twice, no luck. No CD player.. big downgrade.

Purchase the 2010 Volkswagen CC in 2010. As of 2022 I'm still driving my beautiful car. I always had maintenance done as the manual suggests. There was often an issue with replacing the brake light bulbs.

It’s a weekend/vacation car (we live in NYC) and only has 50K miles. I hope to drive it another 15 years. May be the best investment I’ve ever made. The word economy on M Performance car might look strange, but as a daily driver, its very important part. You can turn on eco-pro mode, and the car will transfer from extremely powerful and quick beast into a fuel sipping hybrid, that was doing 31 mpg on my highway tests. So far, I can tell that the technology in the car is amazing. Very thought of in many situations, that i am still discovering. I have it with executive package, that adds some nice things like heads up display, etc. I would say that its a must for those cars. At least a premium package is what you want here. Sound with HK system is very good. Clean, and powerful enough. Handling is amazing. Especially if you have M adaptive suspension pack. Good space for 4 and good trunk space as well. Voice communication is much more refined than previous generations. Wireless apple car play is a nice thing too. In a few words - love this car.

Bought the vehicle new in October of 2023. Now it’s March of 2025. Have yet to have an issue🤞though have heard of common problems many have had. I’ve put roughly 20 k miles on the car in a year and a half (mostly interstate driving). Technology package is lovely and the vehicle has an overall stylish feel. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that you’re buying a 20k dollar vehicle from 2023. It’s plastics galore in there, so, though stylish, the material quality isn’t the best. If you’re someone who takes care of your things, you shouldn’t have an issue! Use the maintenance schedule found in the Owner’s manual and this vehicle should get you where you’re going for a reasonable amount of years. That being said, if you’re trying to decide between and LX[S] and GT (not including GT-Line), choose the GT. Though you’re paying a little extra, you get a standard transmission with real gears (the car has more power than you’d think too) rather than the CVT found in the LX[S] (and GT-line). CVT tech has greatly improved within recent years, but they’re still known to be problematic at times. All in all, this generation of Kia seems to be more reliable than most previous gens. Definitely a real deal competitor with the carolla/civic and worth the consideration!

This is my 3rd Nissan Altima and have been pleased with the service and the reliabilty of the car. Comfortable ride and very quiet. If you are looking for a 4 door Sedan you might want take a closer look at this one.
