It seems there are corolla’s with transmission issue mine was replaced at 36k miles this is my ninth Toyota the first with big issue like that although my car was just out of warranty Toyota replaced the transmission i had to pay for labor

2013 C350 RWD, AMG Performance and Handling package. 108,000 miles. Bought this car in '16 with 40,000 Miles. It continues to serve me well. The one major problem has been an anti-theft ignition switch that only the dealer can fix. Cost 2k to fix. This is the only repaired I've needed. I have had all scheduled maintenance done, Runs quite well, and still has great performance. Handling is the best.

Initially I was apprehensive about getting a Toyota corolla because of the lack of power and handling, but after 12 years of ownership, I must say that the reliability and low cost of ownership more than make up for its lackluster performance which means more money in my pocket, and that's what count with todays economy.

It's a good car. Bought it used. I bought it with 84000 miles, now has 111,000 miles. Main computer had to be replaced, and was done under warranty. I replaced the brakes myself at 104,000 miles, and they were the original OE GM brakes the car was born with. Seats lack support, but I bought a leather cushion that helps. The back seat is really tight, ok for small kids. My fuel economy in the city can get to 23 mpg if I don't use the AC. It gets worse city mileage in the winter too. Highway mileage, the car does well, 34-35 if I drive it right. I think for a reliable used car, it's ok. They are cheaper than the Japanese competition. Rides and handles well.

I had a travel experience in January 2023, while vacationing in Florida, to save money I ordered a subcompact and was up graded to a Chevy Malibu. The LT has the smaller 1.5 L 4 Cylinder which was great on gas, performance was good, not great like my Chevy Avalanche. Missed my flight back to JFK NYC, My fault. Jet Blue got me to LaGuardia AP. Rental Company at JFK was About to Close. The same Company had a branch in LaGuardia they rented me a Malibu at no extra cost. It snowed and the front wheel drive just held the road. That's why I purchased a 2020 Malibu Premier it had everything but the Safety & entertainment. I loved everything else.

In Aug 2016, purchased the 2013 Fucus Hatch SE used in 2016, with 13,000 miles on it. With 35-37mpg on average with mixed driving. Early on OK without issues. Around 40K miles the transmission electronic control modual, ECM, needed an adjustment. The transmission is a learning transmission. It will learn how you drive and adjust shift points as your driving habits are learned by the transmission. My wife's driving habits are put it in drive and GO! My habits are different. Every now and then I will drive her car and shift the transmission as a manual drive, since the transmission is a manual drive transmission which has been automated. The engine and transmission only makes a subtle gurgle noise when as the car shifts from 2nd to 1st as the car comes to a stop. The car is sporty to drive, sensitive steering, good braking. It reminds be of a less expensive VW Golf. Currently we have 140K miles and the only wear on the car that shows is a failure of the heat shield and since I am a mechanically inclined guy who putters around fixing what is broken, there is wear on the clutches in the transmission, all due by my wife's driving habits of being a speedy driver. Since we already have it and its paid off, I will keep it. I will only purchase a Golf or Jetta when the transmission or electronic control module hiccups. I do realize the ECM has a recall if you're below 1450K miles.

WEEKS AGO, I WROTE A BAD REVIEW OF ELIAS AND WAYLAND AUTOMOTIVE, BUT I HAVE TO SAY THAT BOTH ELI AND HIS CREW HAVE TOTALLY REDEEMED THEMSELVES. THEY REPLACED THE ORIGINAL CAR THEY SOLD ME WITH A FAR SUPERIOR MODEL AND HANDLED ALL THE FINANCIAL DETAILS WITH SPEED AND EFFICIENCY. IF I COULD ERASE MY INITIAL NEGATIVE REVIEW, I WOULD DO IT IN A HEARTBEAT!

This is a terrific car for someone who wants a reliable, economical car that's great in snow and ice, and gets excellent gas milage. To help maximize your mpg just watch the dashboard meter that tells you when you're getting the best mpg possible. If you're not (like the reviewer who said he got only 18 mpg) then you're driving too fast and you can't blame the car for that! I love my Subaru!

I went from a Minivan to A BMW and will never go back. My son bought me one It was about 8 years oldIt did start to have problems after about 5 years. Of course it's a 10 year old Car and problems were awaiting. I would buy a new one to make sure they Would be more reliable for me as a single woman driver so that I would not need repairs in the near future. I'm getting rid of mine and buying a newer model. I have wanted an SUV for quite awhile but could not find one I could afford until I saw a SUV at Boston Auto Cars. It was exactly what I wanted...a low mileage quality car one owner. I purchased the Lexus RX350 and I could not be happier with this car. No high pressure here and Anthony is great with handling the buying process effortlessly.

The car has pluses and a few minuses. First the good things. It is by far one of the smoothest vehicles I've ever driven, especially highway driving. You barely feel the road. Breaking is quick and responsive which adds to the smooth driving experience. The car is agile and has a impressive turning radius. Engine performance is adequate but acceleration is a bit weak especially taking it from 0 to 60. so you will not be passing every car on the road with this. Also the car sways a bit in high winds so it feels like you have to fine tune the steering at highway speeds to stay in lane. Exterior stying of car is also a bit unorthodox with it's small 15 inch wheels and oversized headlights. Interior is very comfortable for most people seats are comfortable with good back support. The rear seating is large for a subcompact with excellent legroom . The dash is not terribly impressive though cheap plastic is used and the glove compartment is too small . Also audio system is subpar and basic. What I love about the car is the price, the gas mileage and the comfort and reliability. If your looking for fancy or fast look elsewhere.

My family and I were looking for a used car for my daughter, who was purchasing the vehicle all on her own! We found a car listed online at Wayland Automotive and came to check it out. We ended up purchasing from Rick, Elias, and Jeff, and couldn't be happier! They let us bring the car back to our own mechanic (a good 45 mins away), who checked it out, said it needed two things fixed, etc. We brought it back to Elias and team and they fixed both things free of charge. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a solid used vehicle. I found them trustworthy and solid. They were highly responsive via phone, email, and text, and Jeff went to the RMV multiple times as well to try and assist getting the vehicle registered more expeditiously. Thank you guys! I bought this car in August 2018 with 29K miles, and traded it with 232,442 miles on it. If you want a reliable compact sedan, this is definitely it. With regular maintenance, this car kept going great until the past few months when it needed big repairs. It's very fuel efficient and handles well. It's not the quietest or rides the nicest, but for a compact car, it was just decent. The trunk could hold quite a bit of stuff if needed. There wasn't a lot space in the central console area to put stuff. It's easy to park even without a backup camera. I would definitely recommend this car as a inexpensive, reliable, and dependable car that can get the job done.

We purchased our 2017 hatchback new in the summer of 2017. Our only expenses at 134,000 plus miles has been gas, regular oil and filter changes, tire pressure sensor and tires. A VERY reliable car with average mileage 34 mpg, max highway was 55 plus! And normal highway at 70 mpg of 43 mpg. No interior, exterior or mechanical issues or viewable wear. I wish Chevy still produced them for sale in U.S.A. as we would gladly buy another. No other new vehicle this size, mileage, amenities at this price.

the 2012 Hyundai Sonata is a smooth comfortable car with a potential flaw that Hyundai has, in my opinion, addressed adequately. First the Pros: It is stylish in both the interior as well as exterior design. It is comfortable, even for me at 6'3" and is not tiring for extended periods on the highway. The fuel economy is good averaging for me about 32 MPG with mostly highway driving. The engine has reasonable power when needed and is generally smooth. The cons are that the 4-cylinder Theta-II engine that the Sonata Uses, (as well as the Santa Fe and Kia Optima and Sorento) has a known flaw that causes the #4 cylinder connecting rod bearing to wear out prematurely causing engine failure. Hyundai has recently extended the Engine Warranty to a lifetime warranty on these engines and that includes if you bought the car used. I think this is a reasonable response. My Sonata suffered this exact failure 5 months ago at 164,000 miles and the engine was replaced with no pushback. The car carried an original 100K mile warranty which is still considered industry leading so, legally, any car over 100K miles Hyundai and Kia could have stuck to their original warranty agreement and taken no action. But that is not what they are doing. One of the reasons I gave Korean cars a try several years ago was the lack of response I got on a Japanese brand known for their high quality that also had a known failure point but took no action after the warranty expired. Because of Hyundai's ultimate response I still highly recommend the car. if you have a higher mileage Sonata, my advice would be sure you have some sort of roadside assistance, so in case you experience this same failure, you will not be left stranded. The good news is that in the rare instance you experience this issue, you should receive a new engine.

Yesterday February 27th I went and traded my car in to buy a Ford 150 pickup. I highly recommended buying from them. I take care of my baby, i totally transformed the car , its pimped out now . Bought this car at 60k Miles in 2017 and now has 215k miles present day. I will say , My oil changes were every 5000miles with full synthetic oil used. I change the cvt fluid every 50000 miles or once a year for me cause i have heavier rims and tires on the car. I must say this is the best car i have owned by far and if you love it , it will love you.

Recommending this is vehicle as an owner of am Ford Fusion, would be absolutely absurd if I did not! What such an amazing car that the Ford industry has manufactured!! Shout out to you guys "Ford" thank you so much for an outstanding job! Absolutely loves the remote start control, after starting remotely still having too insert the key for switching gears to drive. Very amazing, without the key inserted, once you place your foot on the brakes to try to change gears the engine kills, to me mu opinion am very safe an outstanding security setup for car thefts to be prevented. Especially for the cold winters and needing my vehicle to be warmed and the engine going for when I get in my car the heater wouldn't need time to warm up. I have such relax and ease knowing my car is fine being started while me not being inside of it, that no-one can drive away with my vehicle with having the keys inserted. Yet my car was gifted to me but my grandfather but wow such an amazing gift ever !! I say very sincerely, stating that this the every 1st car reviews I've ever done after having many 🙏💛

2014 Malibu has been the perfect car. 355,000 miles and still going strong. Only minor repairs (wheel bearings, 1 O2 sensor and a valve timing solenoid), all preventative maintenance, and 33mpg lifetime average. Drivers seat is worn but all else is still in good condition.

I have owned a Kia Forte for 7 years now. My husband and I love it! We do regular oil changes and maintenance, and keep the car in the garage. At almost 60,000 miles it needed new tires and brakes, but that's not a big surprise. We LOVE the performance of this car -- the turbo function makes it fun to drive and great for passing. It's compact enough that we can park anywhere. And the hatchback is surprisingly large! We ended up selling our Toyota Camry and keeping our Kia because the Kia is a workhorse that hauled furniture and boxes for my husband's business. Way more room than the Camry when we needed to haul things or take our electric bikes on an adventure.

I owned the 2013 Fusion SE with the 2.0 Liter Turbo engine for 10 years, and I loved it. It even had paddle shifters! It got me where I wanted to go, never left me stranded, even started right up in 6-degree weather on a trip last Dec. where it spent the night outside. Everything worked reliably - only replacements have been battery & tires. I kept it well-maintained and garaged when home, so that helps.

I bought my car in 2014 with 5 miles on it. I changed the oil, had the CVT fluid changed at the intervals recommended by Nissan and I never had any problems with my car. Someone hit me and totaled my vehicle the end of September 2023. My car had 159,999 in the odometer at that time. I was trying to make it last as long as possible. I know what others say about this car but it was a great car and I’ve never had any issues or problems with it. Sad to see it gone.
