Great car for commuting. Have high safety scores which I tested on March 30th. I was hit from behind at 50mph and I walked away. My 2022 Monarch Orange/Black Sentra SR was shortened by 3 feet front and back. I just bought a 2023 Gun metal/Black SR Premium to replace the 2022. Best small car I driven to date.

My husband an I bought a 2019 camry in 2020 with 35k. It's now 2025 and besides replacing the o2 sensors, this car is extremely good on gas, very comfortable, sporty, very reliable, and timeless. We have the le model with 148k on it. We've done all regular maintenance. We haven't had time to have the transmission fluid serviced, due to health issues. 100k of the miles are all highway miles. I'm a mechanic that rebuilds vehicles to flip. By far this is the best vehicle for the money and we will keep our camry and keep her going until it's time to replace the engine.. I don't see that happening for years to come. These little 4 bangers are bullet proof. Oh, I absolutely love the trans shifts, a cross between regular clutches and cvt. Would highly recommend

I love everything about this car except for the front lower bumper, I wasn’t a big fan of so I updated it with the M Sport series style, I also Installed aftermarket 20x10 TSW Watkins wheels wrapped w/ Lionhart 255-35z-r20 tires, Tinted Windows,BMW emblem carbon fiber exhaust tips with aftermarket Bora exhaust (Not Loud), Cold Air intake and Followed by a DINAN Performance Tune kit. Lots of other extras as well, like BMW Door projector lights, Aftermarket Speaker System etc…. In my opinion, I feel that I built a car into something that I always wanted. It’s Very Fast, Reliable, Has Style, Comfortable, and I didn’t have to break the bank while doing it….

Communicated with John Leno from the Schaumburg facility online. John understood my needs and responded quickly with Jeeps to review - after a bit of humming and hawing on my part, I changed my mind to trucks. I found a truck at another facility, John had it tranferred and within 2 days my soon to be truck arrived - and it is a beauty. John was training Matt and they both demonstrated immense knowledge throughout the interaction and I appreciated the ease of communication (not pushy). I cannot comment on the financing portion of the transaction, but closing went just as smoothly with Hubert and his supervisor. WHile impressed with my transaction I was also impressed with the amount of time that was placed on the training of new employees, or employees transferring. While yes my truck need a repair on the fog lights, it is covered under their warranty, I am highly impressed with my experience. From walking in the front door, to having John take my picture of me and my truck with a giant yellow ribbon... every individual at Carmax truly made the buying and trading experience a wonderful experience. Very nice upscale vehicle. Bought as a previously 2 yr leased auto, avoiding new car price and immediate depreciation. V-6 engine has no hesitation and quietness is excellent. My only two negatives are lack of storage for incidentals and a bit quirky audio that may reset from time to time ( must wait for it to go through a cycle). It has a mind of its own. Overall, excellent vehicle.

Had car 8 yrs only trouble I had was upper o2 snsir went out. Still runs like a kitten.Great sound system, easy steering wheel control. Drive it from Louisiana to North Carolina once a year great gas mileage.

I purchased my Sentra SV with 45,000 miles on it. After 5:years, it has been a rock of dependability and gets outstanding gas mileage (43-45 mpg with the ECO mode.) I've only had to replace the battery and front brake pads and it has 76,099 miles. It may not be the sportiest car, but it's comfortable and gets 29-33 mpg around town.

I was looking for a specific car that was at this CarMax. Problem was that I live in Minnesota, not Chicago and would have to traveling a great distance for a car I had not seen other than in pics, potentially risking wasting a great deal of time and money. I had to trust Jonathan, my salesman, to tell me the condition of the car where the pics could not. He was completely honest and the car was exactly what he said it was. Between Jonathan and Adam, the sales manager i was able to close the deal and drive back to home within an hour. I am completely pleased with the car and 100% satisfied with the dealership. Overall the Elantra is a great commuter car. It has been reliable. We consistently average 35 to 40 mpg with mostly highway driving. The seats are comfortable.

Hi All! I picked up my Sonata SEL w/ Convenience about 4 months ago and man is it pretty. I get compliments all the time. Anyhow, I have just under 2,000 miles on the odo. and figured it would be a good time to leave some first impressions and what it's been like to live with along with some good and not-so-good experiences I've had. First the GOOD: Like I said, it looks amazing. In my opinion, the best looking midsize sedan on the market and everyone seems to love the design. The refinement levels are amazing. Hyundai did an impeccable job quieting this sedan down from the previous version (I had a 2020 model prior). I notice a rather significant difference at highway speed and just cruising around town in overall noise levels. Super pleased here. The ride quality isn't as harsh as the previous version either. Overall, it feels softer over bumps and potholes barely make it through. Yet, handling is still great albeit maybe a bit less sharper around corners. I think this is a great sacrifice though. The prior gen. seemed to have a rather jarring ride in my opinion. In typical Hyundai fashion, the lane keeping/lane departure assist along with dynamic cruise control works flawlessly, so much better than both Honda and Toyota, and I've driven them all. Highway trips are an absolute breeze with the Sonata. Now, the NOT so good: The door handle sensor only works occasionally. Reaching behind the door handle with the key in my pocket should theoretically unlock the door, but it does so only about 50% of the time. I find myself reaching back and forth to and from behind the handle, and maybe on the 2nd or 3rd or 4th attempt, the door will unlock. Watching from afar, it probably looks idiotic like, is this dude afraid to touch his car, what's going on!? Odd. There's a rattle in the passenger door and is REALLY heard when playing music, even at low to moderate volume. I'll get this checked out when my 1st maintenance visit comes around. The Carplay screen is WAY too bright at night. Like, blinding bright. I can adjust it down to the lowest illumination level and it's still pretty bright, but it also dims the speedometer screen! Then, during daylight, it's far too dim, so I have to go in and turn it back up to max illumination. There's only one illumination level from what I can tell and it controls both the speedometer screen AND the infotainment screen. I wish there was a way to lower the brightness of the infotainment screen while keeping the speedo screen brighter along with greater variances between day and night levels. All in all, I'm extremely happy with the 2024 Sonata. I highly recommend it over Accord (lacking features, horrible road noise, pricy) and perhaps even the Camry, although the new 2025 version seems to be pretty killer.

I had a travel experience in January 2023, while vacationing in Florida, to save money I ordered a subcompact and was up graded to a Chevy Malibu. The LT has the smaller 1.5 L 4 Cylinder which was great on gas, performance was good, not great like my Chevy Avalanche. Missed my flight back to JFK NYC, My fault. Jet Blue got me to LaGuardia AP. Rental Company at JFK was About to Close. The same Company had a branch in LaGuardia they rented me a Malibu at no extra cost. It snowed and the front wheel drive just held the road. That's why I purchased a 2020 Malibu Premier it had everything but the Safety & entertainment. I loved everything else.

New car 9/2017: odometer now at 65000 miles. No issues at all since new. Fuelly.com calculates 40.5 MPG in 30/70 highway/city driving. 5 speed manual transmission has excellent synchros - and with a very light clutch engagement plus short throw gear changes - this 2017 1.4 turbo is fun to drive.

After having a less than positive experience at a different Hyundai dealership, I was extremely relieved to find such a helpful and honest salesperson in Darko. He wasn’t pushy at all and was quite patient with me as I worked through all my questions. And while I did have to bring the vehicle back upon realizing that the door jambs had not been properly cleaned before I was given the keys, I am loving my new Palisade! Overall, from the person who greeted us when we first walked in, to the first time I drove it off the lot, the staff at Gregory Hyundai made this a smooth car-buying experience. I'm very happy with this vehicle. The car is still relatively new but so far I haven't had to take it back to the dealer yet. This is my second Sonata but this car is much better than my 2017. I don't think that you can beat the car at this price point. I'm happy with it.
